Title:INTERAKTIVNO ORODJE ZA OBDELAVO PODATKOV LiDAR

Abstract:V tem diplomskem delu predstavljamo interaktivno orodje, ki omogoča učinkovito obdelavo in analizo podatkov, zbranih s pomočjo tehnologije LiDAR. Tehnologija LiDAR omogoča hiter zajem geometrijskih podatkov na velikem geografskem območju z visoko natančnostjo in ločljivostjo. Obseg tako zajetega nabora podatkov hitro preraste zmožnosti sodobnih računalniških sistemov in zahteva vpeljavo optimizacijskih algoritmov skozi celoten postopek njihove vizualizacije, obdelave in analize. V ta namen predstavljamo postopke izločanja točk iz scene, ki temeljijo na hierarhični delitvi prostora s pomočjo štiriškega drevesa. Točke izločamo glede na njihovo vidljivost in oddaljenost od gledišč, ter tako zagotovimo realno-časovno vizualizacijo tudi na računalniških sistemih z nižjo grafično močjo. Takšna vizualizacija nam zagotavlja visoko odzivnost sistema ter predstavlja ogrodje, ki omogoča obdelavo podatkov LiDAR.

Title:AN INTERACTIVE TOOL FOR LiDAR DATA PROCESSING
Abstract:In this diploma work we present interactive tool that allows efficient processing and analysis of data collected by LiDAR technology. LiDAR technology allows quickly capturing of geometric data of a large geographical area with high precision and resolution. The scope covered by data set grows rapidly and the ability of modern computer systems requires introducing optimization algorithms through the whole process of visualization, processing and analysis. We present an algorithm of point reduction from the scene, based on a hierarchical division of space using a quad-tree. We reduce points according to their visibility and distance from the viewpoint, thus ensuring real-time visualization on computer systems with lower graphic power. Such visualization provides us with high system responsiveness, and presents a framework that allows processing of LiDAR data.
