Title:KAKOVOST BIVANJA STANOVALCEV Z DEMENCO V SONČNEM DOMU

Abstract:Temelj uspešne obravnave starostnika z demenco je spoštljiv in zaupljiv odnos. Spoštovanje starostnikove osebnosti, preteklosti, njegovih želja in potreb je osnova za delo. Na osnovi interakcijskega modela medosebnih odnosov Hildegard E. Peplau želimo prikazati celostno obravnavo stanovalcev, ki obolevajo za boleznijo demence v institucionalnem varstvu. Ocenili smo, da kakovost bivanja zadosti pričakovanja svojcev. Ugotovili smo tudi, da zdravstveno negovalna služba spodbuja empatični odnos, zagotavlja občutek varnosti, aktivno in pozitivno okolje ter da so svojci seznanjeni z boleznijo. Raziskava ima značilnosti eksplicitne raziskave. V njej je sodelovalo 30 svojcev v sodelovanju s stanovalci z demenco. Za potrebe raziskave smo razvili vprašalnik, s katerim smo ugotovili, da namestitev v Sončnem domu nudi prijaznejši, kakovostnejši in manj boleč proces bivanja, pa tudi mirnejše in manj krizno življenje svojcev nameščenih. Raziskava je pokazala, da je za kakovost življenja v domu najpomembnejše strokovno usposobljeno osebje v zdravstveni negi. Zaposleni smo s svojci vzpostavili dober odnos in jih pritegnili k aktivnemu sodelovanju, ki pozitivno vpliva na počutje stanovalcev in na ohranjanje njihovih sposobnosti. Za aktivnosti, ki jih izvajamo pri stanovalcih z demenco, pa bi bilo potrebno dvigniti kadrovske normative.

Title:QUALITY OF LIVING OF A RESIDENTS WITH DEMENTIO IN THE SONČNI DOM - RESIDENT HOME
Abstract:ABSTRACT Basics of successfull treatment of elderly with disease dementia is respectfull and trustfull relationship. You have to respect elderlys personality, his past, wishes and needs, wich are basics for work. On the basics of interaction model of interrellationships Hildegard E. Peplau, we wish to show the full consideration of residents, wich are falling ill of disease dimentia in institutional care. We evaluated, that the quality of stay met the expectations of relatives. We found out, that health nusing service encourages emphatetic relationship, provides a feeling of security and active and positive environment. We also found out, that relatives are aware of disease dementia. The study has the characteristics of explicit research. In it participated 30 family members in cooperation with the residents with dementia. For the research we have developed a questionnaire, with wich we have found out, that accommodation in Sončni dom is providing friendlyer, quality and less painfull process of stay, as well as life with less crisis and more peace for family members of patients with dementia. The research showed, that the most important, for the quality of stay in home, is qualified personnel in health care. Employees have established good relationship with family members, as well as we attracted them to participate actively. That affects positively on residents with dementia and also maintains their skills. For activities, that we perform with residents with dementia, would be necessary to raise the staffing norms.
