Title:MESTNA KLIMA LJUTOMERA IN ORMOŽA

Abstract:Spreminjaje naravne pokrajine zaradi procesa urbanizacije je vse pogostejši pojav v sodobnem času. Ljudje v mestih proizvedemo veliko umetne energije, z asfaltnimi in betonskimi površinami spreminjamo tako energijsko kot vodno bilanco in z vse pogostejšo visoko gradnjo vplivamo na lokalno zračno cirkulacijo. Človek z lastnim vnosom toplote, z gostejšo pozidanostjo in odsotnostjo vegetacije spreminja temperaturo zraka, relativno vlago, hitrost in smer vetra in višino padavin. Navedene spremembe se v okolju manifestirajo v obliki specifične mestne klime. Toplotni otok Ljutomera in Ormoža je v obeh primerih najizrazitejši v mestnem jedru od koder se širi, glede na vremenski tip, v različne smeri. V obeh mestih ima pomembno vlogo, ob pozidanosti površin, gostoti prebivalstva in antropogenem vnosu energije, še relief. Gričevje Kamenščak modificira toplotni otok Ljutomera, dolina potoka Lešnice pa vpliva na obliko toplotnega otoka v Ormožu. Toplotni otok je največji in najintenzivnejši v anticiklonalnem vremenskem tipu (A1), najmanjši in najmanj intenziven pa ob ciklonalnem vremenskem tipu (C) ter ciklonalno advektivnem vremenskem tipu (CD). Oblika in intenziteta mestnega toplotnega otoka se spreminja tudi tekom dneva. Temperaturni maksimumi in minimumi se čez dan razvijajo na različnih območjih mesta. V splošnem pa velja, da so najtoplejši predeli Ljutomera in Ormoža hkrati tudi najgosteje pozidana območja medtem, ko najhladnejša območja sovpadajo z redkeje pozidanimi območji ter območji s konkavno reliefno obliko.

Title:THE CITY CLIMATE OF LJUTOMER AND ORMOŽ
Abstract:IVAJNŠIČ, D.: The city climate of Ljutomer and Ormož. Gradual thesis, University of Maribor, Faculty of Arts, Department of Geography, 2009. Changing of natural environment due to urbanization is a more and more frequent process in the modern World. People produce a loath of artificial energy in modern cities. We are constantly changing not only the energy balance but also the water balance of the city because of the city’s surface structure which is in most covered with asphalt and concrete areas. In these days high building often have an influence to the local air circulation in cities; thus creating specific wind conditions. We are changing the climate parameters (air temperature, relative moisture, wind speed, wind direction and precipitation quantity) in cities because of our own heat input, dense building constructions and because of the removal of vegetation. The urban heat island over Ljutomer and Ormož is in both cases most intensive in the old city core from where it spreads into the different parts of the city. The intensity and morphology of the urban heat island depends on the different weather types. In both cities the relief structure has an important role. The hill Kamenščak modifies the urban heat island over Ljutomer and the valley of Lešnica’s stream have an effect on the morphology of Ormož’s heat island. The urban heat island is the biggest and most intensive among anticyclonic weather type (A1) and in its minimum in the cyclonic weather type (C) and in cyclonicadvective weather type (CD). The shape and intensity of the urban heat island is constantly changing during the day, therefore the temperature maximums and minimums are situated in different parts of the city. In general the hottest parts of both cities Ljutomer and Ormož are also the most dense build, while the coolest parts coincide with rarely build city areas and with concave relief structures.
