Abstract:Cilj diplomske naloge je analizirati delovanje protieksplozijskega motorja pri napajanju 400V/50Hz in s 460V/60Hz. Prehod iz frekvence 50 na 60 Hz pomeni povečanje oddane moči motorja. Posledično se pri obratovanju povečajo izgube, kar vpliva na povišanje temperatur na ohišju motorja, hkrati pa se zaradi višjih vrtljajev rotorja in s tem ventilatorja motor bolje hladi. Koliko vpliva na segrevanje motorja povečanje izgub in koliko se z izboljšanim hlajenjem izgube odvajajo, je analizirano v tem diplomskem delu. Vso delo in meritve smo opravili v Laboratoriju za električne stroje (LABES) na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko, računalništvo in informatiko Univerze v Mariboru.

Title:HEATING OF EXPLOSION-PROOF INDUCTION MOTOR AT FREQUENCY OF SUPPLY VOLTAGE 50 AND 60Hz
Abstract:Diploma work presents the heating analysis of explosion – proof induction motor. It focuses on the comparison of motor temperature rise when the motor is fed with a different supply voltage/frequency ratio (i.e. 400V/50Hz and 460V/60Hz). The transition of supply voltage frequency from 50 Hz to 60 Hz results in an increase of mechanical output power proportional to the frequency increase. However, it also results in an increase of power losses. The presented results show the feasibility of using explosion-protected fan-cooled induction motors with both, 50 and 60 Hz supply frequency because of the improved heat transfer at 60 Hz. In the case of non-ventilated explosion-proof induction motors presented results show the feasibility of using the same motor for supply frequency 50 and 60 Hz but at the same output power. The work was conducted in the Laboratory for electrical machines at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
