Abstract:Diplomsko delo zajema preračun hladilnih stolpov za hlajenje procesne vode v valjarni podjetja Metal Ravne d. o. o. Uvodni del zajema opis splošnega področja diplomskega dela z opisom podjetja, obstoječega procesa hlajenja in hlajenja z zaprtim hladilnim sistemom. Diplomska naloga se nadaljuje z opisom hladilnih stolpov in njihovim delovanjem. Sledi poglavje o teoretičnih osnovah vlažnega zraka, kar je pomembno za preračun. Sam preračun je izveden z Merklovo metodo, ki je tudi opisana in razložena. Predpostavke in omejitve pri preračunu se nanašajo na 60% relativno vlažnost zraka in temperaturo 20ï‚°C ter na konstanten maksimalni pretok hladilne vode skozi stolpe. Na koncu diplomskega dela so rezultati z diskusijo in sklep.

Title:COOLING OF STEEL MILL PROCESS WATER
Abstract:The diploma covers the conversion of cooling towers for cooling the process water in rolling mill in Metal Ravne d. o. o. In the introduction is a general description of the diploma with the description of the company and the existing process of cooling with the closed cooling system. The diplima continues with the description of cooling towers and how they operate, following the chapter on theoretical bases of moist air which is important for conversion. The convesrion is carried out by the Merkel method which is also described and explained. Assumptions and limits at conversion refer to 60% relative air humidity, the temperature of 20 degrees celsius and constant maximum flow of cooling water through towers. At the end of the diploma there are results with discussion and conclusion.
