Title:Timski pristop pri oskrbi dementnega starostnika

Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili timski pristop in njegov pomen pri oskrbi dementnega starostnika, vlogo negovalnega tima pri oskrbi in najpogostejše težave, s katerimi se negovalni delavci pri delu z dementnim starostnikom srečujejo. Poleg osnovnih podatkov o demenci in spremembah dementnega starostnika so v delu opisane tudi njihove dnevne aktivnosti. Nadalje so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave, ki smo jih izvedli v domovih za starejše občane, in sicer v Domu dr. Jožeta Potrča Poljčane, Pegazovem domu Rogaška Slatina in Domu upokojencev Šmarje pri Jelšah. Raziskave so potekale v mesecu januarju in februarju 2009. Anketne vprašalnike smo razdelili med 90 članov negovalnega osebja, zaposlenega v omenjenih domovih, ki se dnevno srečuje z dementnimi starostniki. Pravilno izpolnjenih in vrnjenih anketnih vprašalnikov je bilo 87. Želeli smo ugotoviti, kako pogosto in na kakšen način se člani negovalnega tima dementnim starostnikom posvečajo pri izvajanju dnevnih aktivnosti. Prav tako nas je zanimalo, ali člani negovalnega tima ocenjujejo, da je njihov timski pristop pri oskrbi dementnega starostnika dovolj kakovosten. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da se dejavnosti z dementnimi starostniki izvajajo vsakodnevno v povprečju (vsaj) 40 minut v obliki razgibavanj, organiziranih sprehodov in miselnih iger. Zaposleni so mnenja, da je njihov pristop dovolj kakovosten, vendar navajajo, da bi bil le-ta lahko še boljši, če ne bi občutili težav pri delu, ki se nanašajo na pomanjkanje časa in kadra.

Title:Team approach at supply of dementioned senior citizen
Abstract:In dissertation we introduced points of view and activity of members professional and taking-care team at supply demention elderly person, when we found that discrepancy of theory from reality are in spite of this partly present. Besides basic data about dementia and about changes of dementian elderly person we described also daily activities of them in homes for senior citizen. In dissertation we also introduced results of questionnaire as well. We distributed them among 90 members of taking-care team and personnel of employees in different homes: dr. Jožeta Potrča Poljčane, Pegazov dom Rogaška Slatina and home for senior citizen in Šmarje pri Jelšah. Researches went on since January by February 2009. Correctly met and of stuffed questionnaires were 87. We wanted to find, how often and what kind of manner members of taking care team are devoting to elderly people at execution of daily activities per. Results showed that health technologists spent most of time with elderly people and doing activities with them. Results of research indicated, that activities with elderly people were being done daily in average (at least) 40 minutes in shape of exercising, of organised walks and mental plays. They claim that their approach is quality enough, in spite of that it could be better, but they have difficulty in lack of time and shot.
