Title:NAPRAVA ZA PREVERJANJE PRAVILNOSTI DELOVANJA OPTIČNIH INKREMENTALNIH DAJALNIKOV

Abstract:Rotacijski inkrementalni dajalniki pretvarjajo mehansko vrtenje v niz električnih impulzov. Delujejo na optoelektričnem principu. Uporabljajo se v industrijskih napravah za natančno merjenje kotov, pozicij in vrtilne hitrosti. Najpogostejše aplikacije so v industriji obdelovalnih strojev, pri raznih pozicioniranjih, transportni tehniki, robotskih napravah, tekstilni industriji, lesni industriji in merilnih ter kontrolnih napravah. V današnjem času vedno bolj težimo k hitremu in učinkovitemu ugotavljanju in odpravljanju napak. Zaradi tega bi morda že predčasna detekcija morebitne napake na inkrementalnem dajalniku prihranila veliko časa in denarja. Skozi diplomsko delo smo pregledali razvoj in osnove računalniško krmiljenih strojev ter opisali princip delovanja inkrementalnega dajalnika. S pomočjo meritev v laboratoriju smo pogledali karakteristike posameznih signalov. V programu Xilinx ISE 8.2i smo narisali logično vezje in ga simulirali v programu Modelsim. Na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov v laboratoriju smo podali idejo o izdelavi testirne naprave optičnih inkrementalnih dajalnikov, s katero bi učinkoviteje ugotovili napako inkrementalnega dajalnika.

Title:TESTING DEVICE FOR THE OPTICAL INCREMENTAL ENCODERS
Abstract:Optical incremental encoder converts mechanical spinning into series of electrical impulses. They work on optoelectrical principle. They are used in industrial devices for precise measuring of angles, positions and spinning speed. Most frequent applications are used in cultivating machine industries, at different positioning, transport techniques, robot devices, textile and wood industries, measuring and control devices. Nowadays, we more and more tend to find and solve errors quickly and efficiently. Therefore, premature detection of an error on optical incremental encoders might save a lot of time and money. While writing our diploma we examine development and basics of computer guided machines, and describe the work principals of optical incremental encoder. With the help of measurements in a laboratory we have gain a closer look in individual signal characteristics. In Xilinx ISE 8.2i program we draw a logical circuit, and simulated it in program called Modelsim. Basing on the results we got in the laboratory we emerge with an idea to make a testing device for optical incremental encoders, with which we could efficiently spot an error on optical incremental encoders.
