Title:ANALYSIS OF DOCUMENTARY SYSTEM IN MICRO COMPANY I.S.P. D.O.O.
Abstract:In the last few years the company I.S.P Pty. Ltd experienced rapid development. However, in the area of organisation , information and documentary systems it was not fast enough. The number of documents was rising, which was the cause of problems when it came to the efficient control and functioning of processes. The unnecessary costs of ineffective operation of processes were due to searching for, transporting printing and archiving documents in paper form. The theoretical basis which I use to define the situation in the company is aquired from Slovenian and foreign literature. A questionnaire in the company was used as a source of information about the documentary system and processes where documents were used. The research concluded that the company needed to reengineer its processes which should make possible quicker and more efficient functioning of processes. A reengineering of all processes would take a long time and would be expensive, as the company could not afford this. On the basis of the research the best solution is for the company to adopt a gradual approach. That is why in this thesis I have provided a priority list of processes which are most suitable for modernising the company. I have included an example of information support "Ultimate BPM Suite" which presents directions to technical support which the company should develop in the future in order to assure better control and functioning of processes.
