Temu sledi opredelitev nekaterih splošnih pojmov komunikacije, njen opis in razčlenitev. V empiričnem delu predstavimo namen, metodologijo, spoznanja in ugotovitve raziskave, izvedene s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, s katerim smo anketirali učence v tretjem triletju osnovne šole in dijake srednje strokovne šole.

Title:The principles of good communication while teaching Slovene
Abstract:Diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. Theoretical assembly explores pedagogical communication between teachers and learners in primary and secondary schools. Introduction comprises thoughts connected with the main topic of the diploma thesis. Further, language as the main component of communication is introduced and some general concepts of communication are defined followed by description and specification of communication. Findings of communication and linguistic didactics are summarized in few words, bringing contemporary touch to the discussion of language. Instruction of Slovene language and its aims are described. The instruction of Slovene language is interesting particularly because of reformed communication concept which helps develop communication skills of learners in primary and secondary schools. Slovene language teachers, with their theoretical knowledge and also with their language example, raise awareness about the principles of good communication in learners of primary and secondary schools. Slovene language teachers thus not only help develop good future speakers but also help build positive relationships and interpersonal respect that improves educational process. From this point of view their speech is also important for teachers of other subject areas and is therefore, in this diploma thesis, analysed in details since it has to be planned, deliberated, sophisticated, democratic, free, bidirectional and personal. The empirical part introduces purpose, methodology and findings of the research carried out with help of survey questionnaire. The survey covered learners of the third triennium in primary school and learners of secondary professional school. We were interested in learners' attitude toward Slovene language, its instruction and teaching. One of the aims was also to establish the language culture of Slovene language teachers and teachers of other subject areas as well. Since good communication helps develop positive relationship toward language, we were also interested in interpersonal relationships and influence of those relationships on attitude toward contents. With help of the survey we tried to confirm that respecting principles of good communication leads to forming of qualitative interpersonal relationships. Positive communication linguistically educates learners, increases their communication skills and in that way leads towards constructive and efficient education.
