Title:ODNOS, MNENJA IN AKTIVNOSTI TRETJEŠOLCEV Z RASTLINAMI V UČILNICI

Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava rastline v učilnici. Glede na učni načrt in učbenike naj bi učenci vsaj enkrat v prvem triletju vzgojili rastlino in skrbeli zanjo. Cilj naloge je ugotoviti, kakšna in kolikšna je vzgoja rastlin v razredu, kakšno mnenje in odnos imajo učenci do rastlin, katere aktivnosti so vključene v pouk obravnave rastlin ter kakšno je znanje učencev. Raziskava je izvedena z anketnim vprašalnikom. Vprašalnik je izpolnilo 140 tretješolcev vaških in mestnih šol. V prvem triletju v vsaj enem razredu ali več vzgajajo različne rastline, za katere skrbijo učenci, včasih pa jim pomaga učiteljica. Učiteljice uporabljajo raznolike naravoslovne postopke, vendar ne vseh enako pogosto. Največ se učenci pri pouku o rastlinah naučijo z opazovanjem pravih rastlin v razredu in naravi. Tretješolci že imajo določeno znanje o rastlinah, saj so na vprašanja večinoma znali odgovarjati. Pri težavnejših vprašanjih je bilo več napačnih odgovorov, še vedno pa več kot polovica pravilnih. Učenci se v večini radi ukvarjajo z rastlinami, tako v šoli kot tudi doma, in tako je tudi njihov odnos do rastlin pozitiven.

Title:THE ATTITUDE, OPINIONS AND ACTIVITIES OF THIRD YEAR PUPILS IN RELATION TO PLANTS IN THE CLASSROOM
Abstract:The paper deals with plants in the classroom. According to the textbooks pupils should cultivate a plant and look after it at least once during the first three years of primary education. The objective of the paper was to find out how and to what extent the pupils cultivate plants in the classroom, their opinion and relation to plants, about their classroom activities with and their knowledge of plants. A questionnaire has been used to perform the survey. It was answered by 140 pupils of village and town schools. During the first three years various plants are cultivated in at least one grade. They are cared for by pupils, sometimes assisted by the teacher. Various natural science procedures are used by teachers, some more, some less frequently. Pupils acquire the most knowledge on plants by observing real plants in the classroom and in nature. Third grade pupils already have a certain amount of knowledge about plants, and were mostly able to answer certain questions. There were more wrong answers to the more difficult questions, but still more than half were correct. Pupils mostly like care about plants, at school or at home, consequently their attitude to plants is positive.
