Title:ŠOLA KOT AGENS NARCISISTIČNE SOCIALIZACIJE

Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Šola kot agens narcisistične socializacije obravnava socializacijsko vlogo šole v okviru fenomena narcisistične kulture. Namen diplomskega dela je v okviru opredelitve narcisistične socializacije predstaviti psihoanalitično razlago patološkega narcisizma, narcisistično kulturo in značilnosti narcisistične socializacije, nato pa v tej luči preučiti šolo kot socializacijski dejavnik in analizirati nekatere elemente aktualne pedagoške teorije. V okviru psihoanalitične opredelitve narcisizma so poleg Freudove vpeljave pojma predstavljeni pogledi egopsihologije in teorije objektnih odnosov z opredelitvijo mejne organizacije osebnosti in narcisistične motnje osebnosti ter razlaga narcisizma z vidika lacanovske psihoanalize. Pri obravnavi narcisistične socializacije so po opredelitvi socializacije in osvetlitvi njenih razsežnosti prikazane značilnosti narcisistične socializacije in njena aktualnost skozi predstavitev Laschevega razumevanja narcisistične kulture. V tej perspektivi je nato raziskana vloga šole. Predstavljen je pomen šole kot dejavnika socializacije z upoštevanjem razmerja med socializacijo, vzgojo in izobraževanjem, zgodovinskega vidika oblikovanja šole kot socializacijskega dejavnika in njene ideološke razsežnosti. V okviru analize elementov aktualne pedagoške teorije so obravnavani vzgojna vloga šole, pojmovanje znanja, učenja in poučevanja ter celostna podoba sodobne šole in šolske klime. Rezultati kažejo, da se v analiziranih elementih pojavljajo značilnosti, ki jih je mogoče prepoznati med značilnostmi narcisistične kulture, s tem pa se potrjuje aktualnost tega fenomena za nadaljnje raziskovanje na področju šolstva.

Title:SCHOOL AS AN AGENT OF NARCISSISTIC SOCIALZATION
Abstract:The thesis titled School as an agent of narcissistic socialization deals with the role of school in the socialization process in terms of the narcissistic culture phenomenon. The aim of the thesis is to present the psychoanalytic explanation of pathological narcissism, narcissistic culture and characteristics of narcissistic socialization in terms of the definition of narcissistic socialization, and – in view of the abovementioned – to study the school as an agent of socialization and analyse specific elements of the current pedagogical theory. Within the psychoanalytic definition of narcissism, apart from Freud’s introduction of the concept, the views of ego psychology and object relations theory are presented, along with the definition of borderline personality organization and narcissistic personality disorder, as well as the explanation of narcissism from the point of view of Lacanian psychoanalysis. The treatment of narcissistic socialization comprises of the definition of socialization and elucidation of its dimensions. Furthermore, the characteristics of narcissistic socialization and its topicality are discussed through the presentation of Lasch’s interpretation of narcissistic culture. In view of the aforementioned, the role of school is investigated, as well as its importance as a socializing agent with respect to the relation between socialization and education, the historical view of the formation of school as an agent of socialization and its ideological dimensions. Within the analysis of the current pedagogical theory elements, the educational role of school, and the interpretations of knowledge, learning and teaching are discussed, along with the overall image of the modern school and school climate. The results show that the analysed elements contain features that can be identified as features of narcissistic culture, which confirms the importance of the phenomenon discussed for further research in education.
