V prvem delu so definirani osnovni pojmi, ki jih potrebujemo za nadaljno razlago. V nadaljevanju so predstavljeni izreki integralskega računa. V zadnjem delu diplomskega dela je podan življenjepis obeh matematikov in zgodovinski opis odkritja Leibniz-Newtonove formule, kakor tudi razlike in podobnosti v razvoju. Zaključimo lahko, da sta Leibniz in Newton razvila pomemben matematičen rezultat, s katerim nam je omogočeno, da hitreje in enostavneje izračunamo vrednost določenega integrala. Language: English LEIBNIZ-NEWTON FORMULA In Graduate thesis we present Leibniz-Newton formula. In the first part we define the basic concepts which are used for further explanation. In the further we present theorems of integral calculus. The biography of Newton and Leibniz and historical description of discovery Leibniz-Newton formula, as well as diferences and similaritys in her development are in the last part of Graduate thesis. We can conclude that Leibniz and Newton, has develop an important mathematical result, which allow us faster and simpler value of calculation of definite integrals. Their discovery in further has also assist to new results in mathematics. Mathematics, Leibniz-Newton formula, indefinite integral, definite integral, fundamental theorem of analysis.
