V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela so opredeljene igre in igrače danes in nekoč.

Title:GAMES AND TOYS THROUGH GENERATIONS
Abstract:The Diploma paper consists of theoretical part and empirical part. The theoretical part of my Diploma paper defines games and toys in the present and in the past. I also introduce when and how our parents and grandparents played in their childhood. I emphasize the games and toys in the past that I selected and described. The empirical part of my Diploma paper is the analysis of the data. Using the first questionnaire I wanted to find out how much free time (if any) had our parents and grandparents, what they did then, what games they played, what toys they had and who made their toys. Using the second questionnaire I wanted to find out what children do today in their free time, what games do they play, do they know any other game from their parent's childhood. According to my previsions, which were confirmed, I found out that children's games were changing from one generation to another. Games are closely related with the life style that is very different from the first generation of questioners up till now. In the past, children had little free time, because they lived on the farms where they must work a lot. Anyway, every opportunity was used for a game and fun. Then, there were lots of children in a family; therefore the games consisted of many children.
Keywords:Cildren's game and a toy in the present and in the past.
