Title:POSKUSI Z VODO V PRVEM RAZREDU OSNOVNE ŠOLE

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi so predstavljeni poskusi z vodo, ki sem jih pripravila za otroke v prvem razredu osnovne šole. V teoretičnem delu so na kratko opisane naravoslovne vede, učni načrt za prvi razred osnovne šole ter lastnosti vode. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge je predstavljenih deset enostavnih poskusov, ki so primerni tako za predšolske otroke kot tudi za otroke prve triade devetletke. V zadnjem delu diplomske naloge je opisana priprava in izvedba poskusov ter skladnost vsebin z učnim načrtom. Dodani so tudi rezultati opravljenih anket, ki so bile izvedene neposredno pred poskusom in po njem. Predpostavljali smo, da se otroci v šoli premalo učijo ob poskusih in igri. Premalo je igranja z vodo in učenja preko igre pri fiziki ali širšem naravoslovju. To teorijo, da je v šoli preveč učenja in premalo igre, smo po poskusih z otroki v šoli le še okrepili. Poskusi zahtevajo mnogo več časa in potrpežljivosti kot branje knjige ali ogled filma. Verjetno je ravno čas tisti, ki ne dopušča, da bi se otroci učili skozi poskuse in si tako pridobili novo znanje. Vsekakor smo pri otrocih želeli vzpodbuditi zanimanje za naravoslovje skozi igro z vodo. Če bomo otrokom znali na primeren način približati naravoslovne vede, bodo le-ti pridobljeno znanje znali uporabiti v enakih ali podobnih situacijah.

Title:EXPERIMENTS WITH WATER IN 1. GRADE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Abstract:In my thesis experiments with are presented, which were prepared for the first grade pupils of elementary school. Theoretical part describes basics in theory of natural science, kurikulum for the first grade of elementary school and the characteristics of water. In empirical part there are the descriptions of ten simple experiments, which are appropriate not only for preschool children, but also for the first three years in elementary school. In the final part the preparation and realization of the experiments are described, including the accordance of their contents with the curriculum. The questionnaires are added from before and after the experiments. Our assumption had been that children in school learn through experiments and games too little. There is not enough playing with water and learning through games at physics class or science in general. The theory that there is too much learning and too little game in school was reinforced by those practical experiments. Experiments require much more time and patience than reading a book or seeing a film. It is most likely that time is the factor that does not allow learning through experiments and acquiring knowledge in such a way. We have certainly strived to rouse children to take greater interest in natural science with the help of these experiments. If we know how to suitably draw near natural sciences to children, they will learn how to use that knowledge in the same or similar situations.
