Title:KVALITETA ŽIVLJENJA V ZAVODU ZA USPOSABLJANJE INVALIDNE MLADINE V KAMNIKU

Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava kvaliteto življenja invalidnih otrok in mladostnikov ter zaposlenih v Zavodu za usposabljanje invalidne mladine (v nadaljevanju ZUIM) v Kamniku. Kvaliteta življenja postaja v zadnjem stoletju tema, ki ji v razvitem svetu posvečamo vse več pozornosti. Kvaliteta življenja je preučevanje družbene blaginje in opredeljuje notranje in zunanje doživljanje in ocenjevanje lastnega življenja. Sestavljena je iz različnih elementov, kot so: blaginja, svoboda, identiteta, socialna varnost, kultura, izobraževanje, zaposlovanje, družbeni odnosi, družbeno in politično življenje, zasebnost, in tako dalje. Kako posameznik ali družba ocenjuje ali vrednoti kvaliteto življenja (svojo ali družbeno), je odvisno od tega, kako so zadovoljeni in izpolnjeni dejavniki, pogoji in okoliščine (notranji in zunanji), ki vplivajo na življenje posameznika ali družbe. Invalidi imajo zaradi majhne sposobnosti in spretnosti, da zagovarjajo sami sebe, za doseganje svoje samouresničitve bistveno manj možnosti kot ostali ljudje. Zato še toliko bolj potrebujejo različne zagovornike svojih interesov, obstoja in samopotrditve in to ne samo staršev, državnih institucij in strokovnih služb, marveč tudi ljudi iz okolja, v katerem živijo, zlasti poznanih, vplivnih in spoštovanih. Zaradi vsakdanjih obremenitev in stresnih situacij je kvaliteta življenja na nižjem nivoju. Ker je od kvalitete delovnega življenja zaposlenih odvisno naše celotno življenje in tudi življenje invalidov, se je potrebno potruditi, da je njihova kvaliteta na visokem nivoju in da v delovnem okolju ni nezadovoljstva.

Title:THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE INSTITUTION FOR QUALIFICATION OF THE DISABLED YOUTH IN KAMNIK
Abstract:The topic of my diploma presentation is the quality of life of the disabled children and young people and the employees in the "Institution for Qualification of the Disabled Youth" (ZUIM) in Kamnik. In the last century the quality of life has become a topic which people are more and more interested in. The quality of life means the research into social welfare and defines internal and external experience and one's personal life. The quality of life includes different elements, for instance: welfare, freedom, identity, social security, culture, education, employment, social relations, social and political life, privacy etc. How an individual or a society appreciate or value the quality of life (one's own or social) depends on how the factors, the conditions and the circumstances (internal and external), which affect the life of an individual or society, are satisfied and fulfilled. Disabled people, have because of their situation, fewer possibilities to achieve their goals as the rest of the population. That is why they need different defenders of their interests, their existence and self-confirmation and not only the support of their parents, state institutions and experts but also the support of people who surround them, who are popular, well-known and respected. The quality of life of disabled people is on lower level mainly because of their everyday stressful situations and problems. As the quality of working environment of employees depends on our whole life-style and also life of disabled people, it is necessary to do all that the quality of life remains on the highest level possible and that there is no discontent at work.
