Title:Poznavanje dvoživk v 3. triadi devetletke

Abstract:Dvoživke so izredno raznolika in hkrati tudi zelo ogrožena skupina živali. Če želimo pripomoči k njihovi ohranitvi in varovanju, moramo takoj ukrepati. Kot učitelji imamo nalogo učence vzgajati in izobraževati. V okviru prvega jim pomagamo izoblikovati stališča in vrednote, v okviru drugega pa jim posredujemo znanje. Da bi lahko začeli z ukrepi za zaščito dvoživk, ki jih lahko izvajamo kot učitelji v šoli, je potrebno ugotoviti, kakšna stališča imajo učenci do predmeta in pouka biologije, dvoživk in narave na splošno ter kakšno je njihovo znanje o dvoživkah. To je bil predmet naše raziskave, v kateri smo izvedli anketo med učenci 7., 8. in 9. razredov na sedmih osnovnih šolah po Sloveniji. Izbrali smo šole iz različnih okolij, da bi dobili čim bolj jasno sliko o tem, kakšno je poznavanje dvoživk pri učencih v 3. triletju. Ugotovili smo, da med učenci ni večjih razlik v poznavanju in da na to ne vplivajo spol, razred in okolje, v katerem se nahaja šola, pač pa ima veliko vlogo učitelj, ki s svojim pristopom lahko zelo vpliva na zanimanje učencev do predmeta biologije in posledično na njihovo poznavanje določene tematike, v našem primeru dvoživk.

Title:Knowledge of Amphibians in 3rd triad of primary school
Abstract:Amphibians are very heterogeneous group of animals and also very threatened with extinction. If we want to help with their saving and protection, we need to take prompt action. As teachers we have duty to teach and to edeucate pupils. As educators we help them to shape their views and values and as teachers we pass them knowledge. To make arrangements for amphibian protection, which we can do as teachers at school, we need to find out first, what do pupils think about biology as a school subject, biology lessons, amphibians, nature generally and how good they know amphibians. This was the subject of our research. In the framework of that we investigated pupils of the 7th, 8th and 9th class on seven schools in Slovene. We took schools from different environments to get clearly picture about knowing amphibians among the pupils of 3rd triad. We didn't find bigger differences in knowledge among pupils. We found out that knowledge isn't depend upon the sex, class or type of school. Indeed very big role has a teacher. He can very affect on pupils interests about biology and consecutive on knowledge about specific subject, in our case amphibians.
