Abstract:POVZETEK Temeljni namen uživanja hrane je dopolniti kemijske elemente, ki sestavljajo celice in tkiva človeškega telesa (Walker, 2004). Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu definiramo in opisujemo zdravo prehrano ter razlagamo, kakšen pomen ima le-ta na posameznikovo zdravje. Podrobneje nakazujemo načrtovanje dnevnih obrokov ter predstavljamo vrste alternativnih oblik prehranjevanja. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela ugotavljamo, kakšno znanje imajo učenci različnih starosti o prehrani ter kakšna je vloga staršev in šole pri oblikovanju prehranjevalnih navad učencev.

Title:ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PUPILS' ATTITUDE TOWARDS FOOD
Abstract:SUMMARY The basic purpose of nourishment is to complement the chemical elements which the human body is composed of (Walker, 2004). The diploma work is composed of theoretical and empirical part. In the first we define and describe healthy food and explain its impact on one's health. How to best plan daily rations of food is shown in more detail and different alternative forms of nourishment introduced. In the empirical part we establish the knowledge pupils of different age have on nutrition and the role of parents and school in forming the eating habits of pupils.
