Abstract:Dilomsko delo predstavlja pomen pojmov "šege in navade", problem ženitovanja na Slovenskem v času fevdalizma, vpliv ljudskih verovanj na ženitovanje, izgled belokranjske ljudske noše, na kratko opiše kraj Semič, predstavi ženitovanjske šege in navade-vasovanje, snubljenje, zaroko, ženitovanjske osebe, vabljenje na ženitovanje, prevoz nevestine bale, slovo od samskega stanu itd. Predstavlja tudi turistično prireditev "Semiška ohcet", folklorno skupino "Semiška ohcet", pomen godcev in glasbe za življenje vaške skupnosti ter se zaključi s kratko primerjavo porok nekoč in danes.

Title:Marital Customs and Habits in White Carnolia and Lower Carnolia through Time
Abstract:The diploma describes the meaning of the concepts "customs and habits", marital problems in Slovenia in the time of feudalism, how peoples beliefs used to influence their choice of marriage, how White Carnolian peoples costume used to look like, marital customs and habits-evening visits, proposing, engagement, "wedding people", inviting,transport of bride"s "bala", farewell from unmarried state, ... The diploma also describes the tourist performance "Semiška ohcet", the folklore group "Semiška ohcet", the importance of musicians and their music for the village community and ends with a short comparison between marriages once and today.
