Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Proučevanje profesionalnega razvoja šolskih svetovalnih delavcev z metodo poklicne biografije s teoretičnega vidika obravnava šolsko svetovalno službo, posamezne profile šolskih svetovalnih delavcev ter dejavnike, ki vplivajo na njihov profesionalni razvoj med formalnim izobraževanjem in po formalnem izobraževanju. Namen empiričnega dela v diplomskem delu je bil ugotoviti, kateri so tisti dejavniki, ki jih šolski svetovalni delavci sami izpostavljajo kot pomembne za svoj profesionalni razvoj. Pri tem me je zanimalo, kako si sami udeleženci raziskave razlagajo njihov vpliv. Pri raziskovanju je bila uporabljena metoda poklicne biografije, ki je ena izmed metod kvalitativnega raziskovanja, ki nam da vpogled v neko dogajanje, omogoči nam, da razumemo smisel dogodkov, sprememb iz perspektive posameznika. Kot udeleženci raziskave so sodelovali različni profili šolskih svetovalnih delavcev. Ugotovitve so predstavljene v obliki zaključnih misli v sklepnem poglavju diplomskega dela.

Title:Studying professional development of school counsellors by using the method of biography
Abstract:The diploma thesis entitled “Studying professional development of school counsellors by using the method of biography” deals with the school guidance program, individual profiles of school counsellors and different factors which influence their professional development during and after their formal education. The purpose of the empirical part of the diploma thesis was to determine factors which school counsellors believe to have the greatest impact on their professional development. An important part of the research was also to discover how different participants of the research explain the influence of the factors mentioned previously. The biography method, which is a method of the qualitative research, was used in the process of the data collection. This method enables the insight into what’s happening, it enables deeper understanding of the purpose and changes within the process , from an individual point of view. Different profiles of school counsellors participated in the research project. The results are presented as summary in the final chapter of the thesis.
