1. Audio-visual effects of a collaborative robot on worker efficiencyAljaž Javernik, Klemen Kovič, Iztok Palčič, Robert Ojsteršek, 2023, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Collaborative workplaces are increasingly used in production systems. The possibility of
direct collaboration between robots and humans brings many advantages, as it allows the simultaneous use of human and robotic strengths. However, collaboration between a collaborative robot
and a human raises concerns about the safety of the interaction, the impact of the robot on human
health, human efficiency, etc. Additionally, research is unexplored in the field of the collaborative
robot’s audio-visual effects on the worker’s efficiency. Our study results contribute to the field of
studying collaborative robots’ audio-visual effects on the worker’s behavior. In this research, we
analyze the effect of the changing motion parameters of the collaborative robot (speed and acceleration) on the efficiency of the worker and, consequently, on the production process. Based on the
experimental results, we were able to confirm the impact of robot speed and acceleration on the
worker’s efficiency in terms of assembly time. We also concluded that the sound level and presence of
a visual barrier between the worker and robot by themselves have no effect on the worker’s efficiency.
The experimental part of the paper clearly identifies the impact of visualization on work efficiency.
According to the results, the robot’s audio-visual effects play a key role in achieving high efficiency
and, consequently, justifying the implementation of a collaborative workplace. 2. Experiencing stress among nurses during resuscitation procedure and legal obligations for healthcare workers in SloveniaAnton Koželj, Maja Strauss, Matej Strnad, 2020, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Nurses are always part of the team that performs resuscitation procedures. In this paper the authors explore the influence that resuscitation procedures on nurses who perform them. For data collection, the authors used a survey with a convenience sample of nurses who work in emergency settings. For statistical processing of data, the authors used the calculation of frequency, standard deviation, means, and median. Authors used Spearman's rank correlation coefficient and calculated the p-value. The respondents in the survey completed the Post-Code Stress Scale. The results show that the majority of the respondents experienced resuscitation cases as burdensome situations; however, the level of stress was moderate. Nurses still experience some physical and psychological symptoms during resuscitations. 3. Salaries of healthcare professionals in the Republic of CroatiaAnte Klarić, Marina Švaganović, Miran Cvitković, 2020, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Salaries of healthcare professionals in the Republic of Croatia are regulated by a series of laws and regulations. A series of regulations defining the salaries and substantive rights of healthcare professionals cannot provide a clear, uniform and complete approach to regulating the subject matter of the law. In addition to the aforementioned issues of employment status, healthcare professionals originate from a standard that is similar and common to all public servants. In doing so, the legislature does not differentiate between a healthcare professional and his profession from an activity that deals with the protection of fundamental human values: the life and health of the individual. It is these core values that should inform not only governmental regulation of salaries and wages but also all other substantive rights, as a pledge for the smooth performance of such a highly responsible service through a clear, unambiguous and norm to precise them. 4. Collaboration between investigation and crisis intervention for the investigative interview in suicide attemptsBurak M. Gönültaş, Cristin Sauter, Meral Öztürk, Murat Yildiz, 2020, pregledni znanstveni članek Opis: Purpose: The present study aims to understand whether investigation and crisis intervention processes can be coupled together in suicide attempt cases in order to mitigate secondary victimisation and whether a social worker as an interventionist can accomplish this. Design/Methods/Approach: This study relies on a literature review with the help of various databases, including PubMed, Springer Database, PsycoINFO and official national and international websites. In this study, the keywords (suicide, crisis intervention, investigation, social work, social worker) were determined for screening according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines. Findings: We found 38 articles, 8 of which were categorised by the research team in several groups with a level of 92% agreement. We categorised them using the mentioned keywords and four groups emerged as a result: suicide and crisis intervention, crisis intervention and social workers, suicide and investigation, investigation and social work. Overviews of papers for each group are presented. Practical Implications: Investigative interviews and crisis intervention processes may be coupled together in cases of suicide attempts. This process holds the potential to increase the rigour and effectiveness of data collection for the case, allow experts to lend their knowledge and skills in support of each other, and provide opportunities for more comprehensive problem-solving in crises. Thus, according to the literature and practice, the output of the current study appears to be implementable. Originality/Value: The conceptual framework revealed in this study may be used as a valuable source for future studies on the topic of collaboration occurring between the investigation on one side and social and psychological crisis intervention services on the other.
