PROJECT OD REENGINEERING IN THE CASE OF WITTENBORG COMPANYMatic Prosen, 2011, diplomsko delo
Opis: Danish company Wittenbog, a part of N&W Global Veding, is a globally known company with its headquarters in Italy and its subsidiary in Odense. It is present in more than 100 countries worldwide and they are world’s largest manufacturer of automatic vending machines specialised in coffee, tea, and sandwich sale.
The dissertation is divided in two different parts. In the first, the theoretical part, we described the utility of project management and industrial reengineering, which are today, one of the critical factors for successful functioning of the company. In the second, the practical part, we focused on a particular product called FB-55, which is due historical reasons manufactured in different building then other vending machines. The main objective of our dissertation was to develop the smallest possible layout for the production of FB-55 and simultaneously reduce the cost of transportation, labor and warehousing.
