Towards trusted data sharing and exchange in agro-food supply chains: design principles for agricultural data spaces
Martina Šestak, Daniel Copot, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: In the modern agricultural landscape, realizing data’s full potential requires a unified infrastructure where stakeholders collaborate and share their data to gain insights and create business value. The agricultural data ecosystem (ADE) serves as a crucial socio-technical infrastructure, aggregating diverse data from various platforms and, thus, advertising sustainable agriculture and digitalization. Establishing trustworthy data sharing and exchange in agro-food value chains involves socioeconomic and technological elements addressed by the agricultural data space (ADS) and its trust principles. This paper outlines key challenges to data sharing in agro-food chains impeding ADE establishment based on the review of 27 studies in scientific literature. Challenges mainly arise from stakeholders’ mistrust in the data-sharing process, inadequate data access and use policies, and unclear data ownership agreements. In the ADE context, interoperability is a particularly challenging topic for ensuring the long-term sustainability of the system. Considering these challenges and data space principles and building blocks, we propose a set of design principles for ADS design and implementation that aim to mitigate the adverse impact of these challenges and facilitate agricultural data sharing and exchange.

Towards the classification of self-sovereign identity properties
Špela Čučko, Šeila Bećirović, Aida Kamišalić Latifić, Saša Mrdović, Muhamed Turkanović, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) is a novel and emerging, decentralized digital identity approach that enables entities to control and manage their digital identifiers and associated identity data while enhancing trust, privacy, security, and the many other properties identified and analyzed in this paper. The paper provides an overview and classification of the SSI properties, focusing on an in-depth analysis, furthermore, presenting a comprehensive collection of SSI properties that are important for the implementation of the SSI system. In addition, it explores the general SSI process flow, and highlights the steps in which individual properties are important. After the initial purification and classification phase, we then validated properties among experts in the field of Decentralized and Self-Sovereign Identity Management using an online questionnaire, which resulted in a final set of classified and verified SSI properties. The results can be used for further work on definition and standardization of the SSI field.

The principle of mutual recognition in the area of freedom security and justice : magistrsko delo
Mihael Pojbič, 2019, magistrsko delo

Opis: Mutual recognition in the EU is both a goal and a principle in of itself, constructed and operationalised through individual provisions. The principle of mutual recognition is regarded as fundamental in enabling cooperation between Member States both in civil and criminal matters. The principle of mutual recognition has long ago outgrown the Internal Market and seeped through into judicial matters between Member States in the AFSJ. The accompanying realisation that the EU is not just an economic area is therefore evident. Since the inception of the idea of a Europe free of classical border checks facilitating freedom of movement was manifested, the fear of circumventing the application of judicial decisions became evermore real. Therefore, monumental changes in the fields of international criminal and international private law were expected and implemented in the European union (EU), through the principle of mutual trust and mutual recognition. Subsequently, classical concepts of private international and international criminal law gave way to Europeanised concepts of exequatur, the public policy exception, the principle of reciprocity, the principle of double criminality and the principle of specialty to name a few. It should be noted that these rules had been reserved to be enacted by the Member States. However, by loosening those principles the guarantees and freedoms which they either explicitly or implicitly guard are in danger of being sidestepped in order to enable mutual recognition. Therefore, at the forefront of the debate of mutual recognition of judicial decisions is the question of protecting fundamental rights and legal principles enshrined both in European and domestic legislation of the Member States. The balancing act that the EU preforms has to be careful enough to facilitate mutual recognition while not jeopardizing mutual trust between Member States. Today both EU private international law and EU criminal law work on the basis of the provisions which facilitate mutual recognition and limit it within the AFSJ. Since the basic idea behind mutual recognition is the same, i.e. free movement of judicial decisions, both their manifestations and their limits should strive to respect the basic framework of the field of law form which they stand. While the principle of mutual recognition has been slowly and methodically evolving, there is a sense of urgency with the development of the principle of mutual recognition in criminal matters.

Student self-evaluation of seminar activities
Darinka Sikošek, 2009, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: This study is focused on the curricular innovations of methodological subjects for acquiring of teachers competences at undergraduate education where students as prospective chemistry teachers serve as a goal group. The redesign of seminar as an essential curricular form is based on consistent consideration of topical didactic principles. Research into the optimal performance of seminar work focuses particularly on their organisation, methodology and evaluation. These three model parameters serve to implement student seminar activities in accordance with Bologna teachers competences. Using the descriptive empirical method for students self-evaluation of seminar work defined in methodological subject module of three subjects (Didactics of Chemistry, Experiments and Natural Activities-Mentroship) some efforts in bettering the competence mastery over.

The Importance of the First Impression and the use of Gestalt Principles of Visaul Design while visiting Web Sites on Mobile Phone
Aleš Studen, 2017, diplomsko delo

Opis: This paper introduces an overview of the first impression on web regarding visual design in connection with user’s opinion. The definition of the first impression is explained as well as its importance. Visual design plays an important role whether website creates good or bad first impression. Gestalt principles of visual design are presented with given website examples. To confirm connection between the first impression and gestalt principles of design, eye-tracking study was performed. Successfully completed analysis was completed with 15 participants. Visual appearance plays an important role in evaluation but it is not the only factor. It is confirmed that out of four websites, the one using the more gestalt principles was at the final individual evaluation assessed the best. It is proven that also the manner of the information provided plays a significant role.

SYMBOLISM AND PRINCIPLES OF DRAGON TRAINING IN THE STORY HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: A COMPARATIVE APPROACH
Maja Skok, 2016, diplomsko delo

Opis: The aim of this diploma thesis is to compare the symbolism of dragon in the book and the film How to Train Your Dragon. I explore the symbolic meaning of the creature in different cultures and in literature and then I focus on the presentation of the dragon in the story. The role of the mythological creature is very unconventional and it affects major themes of the story. I also explore the allegorical aspect of the story and compare the principles of dragon training to the principles of real-life pet training. This comparison helps to gain deeper understanding of the character development of the protagonist. The story has a lot to offer from the pedagogical point of view, since the audience is very young.

Evaluation of the planned curriculum for kindergartens in the field of music education
Olga Denac, 2009, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci

Opis: The problem of planning music education is related to the philosophical dimension of the development of the curricula for music education. Knowledge and understanding of the theoretical bases, goals and principles of the curriculum is the basis for the planning, realisation and evaluation of the educational process of music education. The present article presents the results of a study which included 159 pre-school teachers from all over Slovenia. The aim of the research was to establish the place and the role music education should have in the curriculum designed for kindergartens, and to recognise the difficulties pre-school teachers encounter as they execute individual principles of the curriculum in the process of operative planning of music education. The designed curriculum was analysed from the point of view of structure, activities, goals, contents, teaching strategies and instructional media. The results of the research show that music education hasbeen losing professional autonomy within the field of art and that the teachers only partially carry out individual principles of the curriculum in the planning of the educational process.
