After 2 years COVID-19 pandemic, when the conference was held online, this year we met again in Bled, Slovenia. The theme of the 35th conference is "Digital Restructuring and Human (re)Action". During the pandemic, we experienced the important role of digital technologies in enabling people and enterprises to interact, collaborate, and find new opportunities and ways to overcome various challenges. The use of digital technologies in these times has accelerated the digital transformation of enterprises and societies. It will be important to leverage this momentum for further implementation and exploitation of digital technologies that will bring positive impacts and solutions for people, enterprises and societies. The need to achieve sustainability goals and sustainable development of society has increased. Digital technologies will continue to play an important role in achieving these goals. The papers in this conference proceedings address digital transformation of enterprises, digital wellness and health solutions, digital ethics challenges, artificial intelligence and data science solutions, new and digital business models, digital consumer behaviour and solutions, including the impact of social media, restructuring of work due to digital technologies, digital education challenges and examples, and solutions for smart sustainable cities. 6. 5th International Conference EnRe - Energy & Responsibility : book of extended abstracts2022, zbornik Opis: The tendency to improve energy devices, the impact of environmental factors and the development of new technologies for the exploitation of sustainable resources contribute to the fact that we have witnessed intensive energy development in the last decade. The two most important Slovenian energy pools, located in Velenje and Krško, are at the turning point of renovation, and are facing major challenges in the design and planning of modern energy devices. The current generation faces a great ethical responsibility to leave their descendants a world with as little human impact on the environment as possible. Therefore, communication between experts and researchers, discussion and exchange of different views for the future is of the utmost importance, which is exactly the purpose of the EnRe Conference. Ključne besede: renewable energy and energy storage systems, classic energy systems, policies and strategies for RES, alternative energy systems, energy conversions, energy transfer, electrical machine, thermal machines, mathematical methods in energy engineering, environmental protection, micro and nano energetics, hydrogen technologies, low carbon technologies and strategies, nuclear energy, smart buildings, smart cities and smart grids Objavljeno v DKUM: 09.06.2022; Ogledov: 1451; Prenosov: 117

7. Analysis of the relationship between smart cities, policing and criminal investigationKaja Prislan Mihelič, Boštjan Slak, 2018, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Purpose:
The main objective is to present the symbiosis between smart cities, policing, criminal investigation and criminal intelligence. Moreover, another purpose is to critically address the underlying privacy concerns arising from smart city designs.
Design/Methods/Approach:
The paper is theoretical in scope and utilises a literature review as the basic method. Correlations between smart cities, policing and criminal investigations are identified by analysing the applicability of core smart city technologies and services [SCTS].
Findings:
It is evident that SCTS can influence policing styles and police effectiveness. SCTS hold great potential for criminal investigations and criminal intelligence as they provide information upon which police can develop investigations or crime-control strategies. Vice-versa, criminal investigations and criminal intelligence can provide guidelines for SCTS developers and the governance of smart cities. However, privacy concerns and the slowly developing regulatory framework remain the biggest issues when it comes to SCTS adoption, thus making measures to safeguard privacy a key factor for the legitimacy of smart cities and smart policing.
Practical Implications:
The paper introduces practical knowledge about the implications of smart cities for policing and crime investigation. Some research ideas are presented as well as suggestions for legislators, developers and others whose work area falls in the scope of (smart) city governance.
Originality/Value:
A comprehensive study of the symbiosis between smart cities and policing must not only consider the potential of SCTS but the related need to develop regulation and skillsets of human resources. Only a handful of papers address the connectivity of smart cities, criminal investigations and criminal intelligence from such a multidisciplinary scope. Therefore, the paper represents a contribution to works discussing these concepts. Ključne besede: smart cities, safety and security provision, policing, criminal investigation, criminal intelligence Objavljeno v DKUM: 20.04.2020; Ogledov: 1325; Prenosov: 78

9. Smart city solutions in regard to urbanization processes : Polish casesHalina Brdulak, Anna Brdulak, 2015, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The aim of this paper is to show the spectrum of problems associated with the growing importance of cities in the context of rapidly occurring processes of urbanization. Therefore the following issues are included: the concept of smart cities, which are a combination of the intelligent use of information systems allowing for active management of the various areas of urban activity with the potential of institutions, companies and the active involvement and creative people; transport problems and the use of new technologies. Particular attention will be given to both, the issue of transport congestion as the strongest factor affecting the quality of life of residents and to the role of social capital in the creation of sustainable development. To exemplify the result of the cooperation between southern Polish communities there will be presented a case of the introducing process of the Silesian Card of Public Services with a wide range of its functionality.
