2. Baselines for the preparation of electronic textbooksMatija Lokar, Boris Horvat, Primož Lukšič, Damijan Omerza, 2011, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The NAUK group (Advanced Learning Blocks group; http://www.nauk.si) is engaged in the development of theoretical and practical concepts of ICT use in all levels of education. Recently, the proposed introduction of electronic textbooks (e-textbooks) has become a major topic nationwide in Slovenia. There are multiple dilemmas to be solved, e.g. what a modern e-textbook is, what it should include, in what way should it differ from conventional textbooks, what tools and technologies should be used for its creation, etc. This paper attempts to make recommendations, which we believe should be followed by all the authors of e-textbooks. 3. Multiple conceptual modelling of perceived quality of in-flight airline servicesUrban Šebjan, Polona Tominc, Karin Širec, 2017, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Despite growing literature on the different aspects of airline service quality in relation to behavioural intentions, less attention has been paid to some specific aspects of in-flight services. The focus of the present research is, therefore, on a multiple conceptual model of the quality of in-flight services in relation to passengers’ perception of value, followed by recommendations (word of mouth - WOM) of airlines, as well as the quality and comfort of airline seats. The study is performed using two databases of reviewers’/passengers’ opinions regarding the quality of in-flight airline services and airline seat comfort. Our research results reveal that the perceived comfort of the airplane seat is the most important factor of passengers’ perceived quality of in-flight airline services, which also considerably affects the passengers’ perception of value, and consequently moderates behavioural intentions (in our research, expressed through positive WOM). The analysis of the relative importance of the components of perceived airline seats’ comfort shows that seat width is the most significant factor that contributes to the overall perceived comfort of the airline seat. 4. DYSLEXIA IN A GENERAL PRIMARY EDUCATION ENGLISH CLASSROOMErika Golob, 2015, magistrsko delo Opis: In the master’s thesis I defined the concept of dyslexia. I focused on two different views on dyslexia, namely dyslexia as a reading and writing disorder, something you need to repair or heal, and dyslexia as an added value that gives individuals abilities a person without dyslexia does not possess. The thesis briefly presents the causes of dyslexia, learning deficits, specifically difficulties in reading and writing, various approaches to tackle these difficulties and general guidelines to alleviate them. The thesis then offers some examples of good multi sensory teaching practice which could alleviate the dyslexic pupil’s learning process and could be used in a general education English classroom. The empirical part first gives an introduction to the survey and then presents the results. The survey was conducted on a sample of 160 primary school English teachers enquiring about how well they know dyslexia and its symptoms, how many students with confirmed dyslexia they teach and how they tackle the challenge of teaching such students in an English classroom the focus being on to what extent they accommodate teaching materials and teaching methods for their dyslexic pupils.
