Marketinški pristopi v industriji videoiger na primeru brezplačnega modela generiranja prihodkov : magistrsko delo
Veronika Jakopič, 2024, master's thesis

Abstract: Magistrsko delo obravnava vzpon brezplačnega modela generiranja prihodkov (free-to-play oz.

Lucija Gosak, 2019, master's thesis

Številni prognostični modeli so uporabljeni v različnih mobilnih napravah, ki so postali del zdravstvene oskrbe. V zaključnem delu smo želeli pregledati značilnosti mobilnih aplikacij za napovedovanje življenjske ogroženosti in določiti najprimernejše aplikacije za uporabo v kliničnem okolju. Metoda: Na podlagi iskalnih nizov, vključitvenih in izključitvenih kriterijev ter priporočil PRISMA (ang. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) smo izvedli sistematični pregled mobilnih aplikacij v dveh spletnih trgovinah (Google Play Store in Apple App Store).

Operatic adaptation of Shakespeare`s Romeo and Juliet
Eva Zore, 2018, master's thesis

Abstract: This Master’s Thesis analyses Charles Gounod’s operatic adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The theoretical part introduces the theory of adaptation with a particular focus on operatic adaptations; it then moves on to three modes of adaptations, and discusses the correlation between adaptation and plagiarism. In the second chapter, the thesis identifies and interprets the sources for Shakespeare’s and Gounod’s works, introduces the librettists Jules Barbier and Michael Carré and discusses the background of the period of the operatic production. The main purpose of this thesis is to identify and study stylistic correlation between Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and the libretto of Roméo et Juliette. The thesis further establishes whether the librettists make certain themes from the play more or less prominent. For this purpose, three passages were selected for the contrastive microstructural analysis of the play and its operatic adaptation in the final chapter of this thesis. The intent is to establish whether librettists managed to preserve Shakespeare’s most salient stylistic elements as well as other textual characteristics that have an impact on the interpretative potential of the adaptation.

Back to nature: exploring the potential for implementing the Norwegian idea of outdoor days in the Slovenian school system
Katja Gomboc, 2016, other scientific articles

Abstract: Nowadays it is common to use the expressions ‘in the classroom’ and ‘out of the classroom’ (outdoors). In this article the word ‘outdoors’ will be replaced with the words ‘in the natural environment’, ‘into the natural environment’ and ‘within the natural environment’. These words accent the equal importance of nature as a learning area, a concept that is often forgotten, neglected or ignored. In this area, Norway has forged a real connection between people and nature, a way of life called “friluftsliv,” and has used experiential learning based on learning and playing in an outdoor area. In this article is presented a research study of teaching in nature, the Norwegian nature-oriented curriculum and the implementation of nature practice in the Slovenian school system.

Razvijanje športnega duha pri pouku športa
Nina Volčanjk, 2017, master's thesis

Abstract: Glavni namen magistrske naloge je predstaviti športni duh in šport ultimate frizbi v petem razredu osnovne šole.

Analysis of didactic games in selected coursebooks
Mateja Krajnc, 2017, master's thesis

Abstract: For early foreign language learning, it is typical that it is carried out in a dynamic, varied and child-friendly way. This means that there is a wide variety of media used in these lessons, which enrich the learning process and make learning more efficient and, most importantly, more interesting for the students. One of the many media is also didactic games, which is being used more and more in practice. Due to the actuality of the topic of didactic games, the purpose of this Master’s thesis is to analyze didactic games in selected coursebooks for English in the fourth grade of primary school. In the theoretical part the terms “(child’s) play”, “game” and “didactic game” are defined, based on the technical literature. The importance of child’s play for the development of children and the significance of games in the educational process are presented. Numerous types of didactic games are listed and presented, along with their use in the classroom. Furthermore, the term “coursebook” is defined and the importance of its role in the educational process illustrated. At the end of the theoretical section, the requirements for coursebook design are presented and the characteristics of a quality coursebook listed. In the empirical section of the thesis, the analysis that was carried out based on the selected coursebooks is presented. The research shows that there is a small share of didactic games in the selected coursebooks and that language games and communicative games prevail. The majority of games are intended for practicing vocabulary, speaking and listening. The research also reveals that didactic games encourage all forms of work (individual work as well as pair work and group work).

Comparing Shakespeare`s Othello to Three Film Adaptations
Alenka Gomivnik, 2015, undergraduate thesis

Abstract: William Shakespeare's plays have had countless adaptations on stage and film, because his 16th century plays can still be made modern and interesting nowadays. They can be adapted to the modern world or played out in costumes and settings appropriate for their original contexts. This thesis will explore whether the temporal and cultural context alters the way the play is interpreted over decades. That is why the thesis will deal with three films: The Tragedy of Othello: The Moor of Venice, directed by Orson Welles, made in 1952; Othello, directed by Oliver Parker, made in 1995; and O, directed by Tim Blake Nelson, made in 2001. Each screenwriter and director has their own vision of a story they are trying to tell, whether it be an adaptation, appropriation or an original work. This thesis will explore whether the main theme of Othello remained intact across all three adaptations or whether, despite being changed to some extent, the adaptation can still be recognised as Othello.

Reception and Popularity of Harold Pinter’s Plays in Slovenia after 1999
Urša Gavez, 2015, undergraduate thesis

Abstract: Harold Pinter is a world famous and appreciated playwright, who started his career rather unsuccessfully. As a representative of theatre of the absurd, he was faced with negative and critical reviews of his work. It is hard to say whether the reviewers did not understand his style or simply refused to understand it. However, the playwright’s new style ended up setting new boundaries in modern drama. Pinter’s plays, which were among the first to be presented on the Slovene stage received a similarly modest welcome. The audience found his long pauses, silences and incoherent dialogue insufficiently engaging, and many ended up leaving the theatre before the performance was over. One of the main reasons was that they were not familiar with this original and new writing style, which with time acquired its own adjective – ‘Pinteresque’. Throughout the world Pinter’s popularity increased more rapidly than in Slovenia, while today the playwright is not a stranger to the Slovene theatre. Pinter’s plays have been performed quite a few times on Slovene stages. The question that arises is whether reception of Pinter’s plays and his popularity among the Slovene audience has increased with time. There is a great possibility that Pinter’s popularity in Slovenia is a result of the playwright’s reception among Slovenes as well as the other way around. In this graduation thesis, we will focus on factors that have influenced a positive or negative reception of Pinter’s plays in Slovenia. In pursuit of this, we mainly focus on two events: Pinter’s receiving the Nobel Prize in Literature and his death. With the statistical data regarding Pinter’s plays staged in Slovenia after 1999, this graduation thesis will show how reviews, media presence and other factors influenced the popularity of Pinter and his plays in Slovenia, and how they simultaneously contributed to the reception and integration of the playwright’s style into the Slovene theatre, and brought the playwright closer to the Slovene public at the same time.
