3. 5th International Conference EnRe - Energy & Responsibility : book of extended abstracts2022, zbornik Opis: The tendency to improve energy devices, the impact of environmental factors and the development of new technologies for the exploitation of sustainable resources contribute to the fact that we have witnessed intensive energy development in the last decade. The two most important Slovenian energy pools, located in Velenje and Krško, are at the turning point of renovation, and are facing major challenges in the design and planning of modern energy devices. The current generation faces a great ethical responsibility to leave their descendants a world with as little human impact on the environment as possible. Therefore, communication between experts and researchers, discussion and exchange of different views for the future is of the utmost importance, which is exactly the purpose of the EnRe Conference. Ključne besede: renewable energy and energy storage systems, classic energy systems, policies and strategies for RES, alternative energy systems, energy conversions, energy transfer, electrical machine, thermal machines, mathematical methods in energy engineering, environmental protection, micro and nano energetics, hydrogen technologies, low carbon technologies and strategies, nuclear energy, smart buildings, smart cities and smart grids Objavljeno v DKUM: 09.06.2022; Ogledov: 544; Prenosov: 65

4. Perception of cyber crime in SloveniaMaja Dimc, Bojan Dobovšek, 2010, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to present the results of the pilot research regarding the perception of cybercrime in Slovenia.
Design/Methods/Approach:
The study focused on the research of the perception of cybercrime among the general public, as well as the members of the law enforcement agencies.
Findings:
The development of information and communication technologies critically influences all aspects of our lives, and consequently the characteristics of crime have adapted to the new form of operation in the virtual world. Cybercrime is the new way of breaking the law, and in order to implement successful preventive strategies it is of crucial importance to understand the perception of the general public, as well as the perception of the members of law enforcement agencies regarding cybercrime. The pilot study was performed on a smaller group of individuals (approximately half were the representatives of the general public, while the rest were the representatives of law enforcement agencies) in the form of in-depth interviews. The findings of the pilot research were alarming, since the majority of the interviewees greatly differentiate between certain forms of crime performed in the cyberspace as opposed to the same form of crime performed in real life i.e. the act of stealing, piracy in particular, is unacceptable in the real world and at the same time only natural in the virtual world. Furthermore, the pilot research displayed serious lack of awareness regarding different forms of cybercrime among the general public, as well as the members of law enforcement agencies, and consequently also poor understanding of legislation pertinent to cybercrime. Based on the results of the pilot research it is evident that it is of crucial importance to raise the awareness and understanding among the general public and increase the knowledge of the members of law enforcement agencies regarding cybercrime and its consequences in our everyday life.
Research limitations/implications:
The results are not generalizable due to the small group of interviewees. Consequently, future research will include a larger group of interviewees and will combine both in-depth interviews as well as questionnaires.
Practical implications:
The article represents a useful source of information for individuals working in this field as well as the general public. Furthermore, it represents the basis for further research of the field.
Originality/Value:
The article deals with the issue of the perception of cybercrime in Slovenia and exposes the critical issues related to the difference in the perception of a similar act of crime in the real life as opposed to the virtual world. Ključne besede: computer-related crime, cybercrime, information and communication technologies, Slovenia Objavljeno v DKUM: 12.05.2020; Ogledov: 869; Prenosov: 46

5. Prediction of the pile behaviour under dynamic loading using embedded strain sensor technologyAndrej Štrukelj, Mirko Pšunder, Helena Vrecl-Kojc, Ludvik Trauner, 2009, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: A standard dynamic loading test of the pile was performed on the highway section Slivnica - Hajdina near Maribor, Slovenia. Parallel to standard testing procedures the new monitoring technology based on specially developed strain sensors installed inside the pile body along the pile axis was introduced. On the basis of the measured results the normal strains along the pile axis were measured. Taking into consideration the elastic modulus of the concrete the normal stresses in the axial direction of the pile were also calculated and afterwards the shear stresses along the pile shaft have been estimated as well as the normal stresses below the pile toe. The estimation was made by considering a constant value for the pile diameter. The measured results were also compared with the computer simulation of the pile and the soil behaviour during all the successive test phases. The strain measurements inside the pile body during the standard dynamic loading test in present case did not have the purpose of developing an alternative method of pile loading tests. The presented monitoring technology proved itself as a very accurate and consistent. It gave in the first place the possibility of a closer look at the strains and stresses of the most unapproachable parts of different types of concrete structure elements especially piles and other types of deep foundations. 7. Authorship attribution : specifics for SloveneAna Zwitter Vitez, 2012, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The paper shows the importance of a quality analysis of linguistic features which enable the process of authorship attribution or author profiling in a forensic, literary or economic context (anonymous threat letters, plagiarism, literary works of unknown authorship, client profiling). It also highlights the lack of realized analyses for Slovene and outlines the methodology of detecting the syntactic, lexical, semantic and character features in order to quantify the authorʼs personal style. 8. Economic effects of renewable energy technologiesDario Maradin, Ljerka Cerović, Trina Mjeda, 2017, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Rapid economic development has resulted in the more frequent use of renewable energy technologies. On the other hand, the production and use of renewables fosters the development of new technologies, creating many new opportunities for entrepreneurial-minded individuals and, consequently, the economy in general. Renewable energy technologies have a multiplier effect in spurring the economy and the development of not only the energy sector but also all the supporting activities related to such industry. The purpose of this research is to analyse both the positive and the negative economic effects of investing in various renewable technologies, as well as to confirm, by means of the energy-economy model, the benefit of such technologies in boosting the economy. Ključne besede: renewable energy sources, new technologies, boosting the economy Objavljeno v DKUM: 13.11.2017; Ogledov: 1146; Prenosov: 371

9. The development of spatial representation in the world of new mediaBea Tomšič Amon, 2011, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: With the development of spatial perceptions being one of the most important goals of visual art education, we analysed the influence of different didactic tools – dynamic or static in the development of pupils’ spatial perception. After an initial testing, we formed groups considering three different levels in their abilities to represent spatial organizations. In experimental groups pupils were introduced with the contents of the lesson using moving images while in control groups we used static images. Pupils had to make a drawing using the cues to represent space.
While pupils from the advanced level did not show differences, in the second group they showed more detailed drawings in the case of the use of dynamic didactic means. Among the less talented pupils, the results showed a difference: improvement in the case of static images while dynamic images produced a kind of insecurity that did not allow the free development of pupils’ expression. We concluded that it is important to use the adequate didactic tools taking into account the goals we wish to achieve: dynamic images foster a unique experience of space but they can create insecurity and negative feelings in pupils that find it difficult to express themselves in terms of two dimensional representations of space. Ključne besede: new technologies, didactic tool, dynamic and static images, drawing Objavljeno v DKUM: 10.10.2017; Ogledov: 710; Prenosov: 100
