Opis: Modern complexity of management is associated with im- portant decision making, confronting a great number of useless information. Selection of information - the choice of only qual-ity ones, i. e. essential ones, is a big problem in management decision-making. Implementation of systemic approach i. e. dialectical-network thinking (DNT) can help to deal with it. The paper presents a holistic thinking approach in a case study for the Slovenian parcel postal problem. The volume of parcel flows at the Post of Slovenia between Posts is increasing rapidly and it requires a new design of the postal network. This paper presents a reorganization of parcel services between Postal Logistics Centers and Posts by adding Regional Parcel Centers and Parcel Posts to the network. A case for the area covered by Ljubljana Postal Logistics Center is given, which takes into consideration the sorting out and the retaining of parcels in the Posts, Parcel Posts and Regional Parcel Centers within their individual areas.

Opis: The scientific monograph titled Logistics and Management – selected topics is the result of a bilateral project, lasting from 2013 to 2015 and titled “Preparation of a joint scientific monograph in the field of logistics and management issued at the Faculty of Logistics in Celje and the Maritime Faculty of Kotor”. The project was managed by Professor Maja Fošner, PhD, from the Faculty of Logistics at the University of Maribor, and Professor Veselin Draskovic, PdD, from the Maritime Faculty of Kotor, Montenegro.
The main goal of the monograph is to give a comprehensive account of selected areas from the field of logistics and challenges in the development of logistics, such as risk management and supply chains, transport cost, competences in logistics, urban logistics, green logistics, seaport cooperation, logistics network optimisation, logistics in tourism, logistics in performance management, systemic logistics providers and solutions to problems of transportation task.
Wishing to offer a comprehensive presentation of various areas in the field of logistics, the authors of the monograph contributions, who participated on the project (Maja Fošner, Bojan Rosi, Borut Jereb, Marjan Sternad, Veselin Draskovic (ed.), Mimo Draskovic, Sanja Bauk, Senka Sekulac-Ivosevic), invited to cooperation also other researchers from the Faculty of Logistics and the Maritime Faculty of Kotor (Irena Gorenak, Matjaž Knez, Matevž Obrecht, Sonja Mlaker Kač, Tina Cvahte, Darja Topolsek, Drago Pupavac, Zeljko Ivanovic, Oleksandr Dorokhov, and Ludmila Malyaretz) who enriched the present monograph with their contributions.
The monograph is aimed at professional public and anyone interested in the field of logistics. It should also serve as a useful aid in the study of logistics.

Blockchain-Based digital identity managementNejc Schneider
, 2019, magistrsko delo
Opis: Centralized identity management systems are most commonly used. However, they pose certain threats to identity owners using them. Most of these problems revolve around users not being in control of their data. Self-sovereign identity seeks to aid this issue by putting the user in control. The research goal is to find out whether decentralized networks implementation in the domain of identity management can prove beneficial for the identity owners. This research addresses the following questions:
• How is the user data managed on centralized servers and how can it be managed in a decentralized environment?
• What are the blockchain features that could benefit the domain of digital identity management?
• Can the blockchain-based solutions fulfill the requirements of SSI as well as GDPR regulations?
• What new challenges do they bring and why has a massive adaptation of blockchain technology beyond the field of cryptocurrencies not yet occurred?
Previous academic research and industry reports show the massive potential of Blockchain technology. However, there are only a few examples of how to implement this technology to overcome the barriers (Wadhwa, 2019). Blockchain offers immutability, which can be very valuable for certain purposes. However, it may not be an ideal solution for storing personal data. To offer a comprehensive solution, our use-case combines both centralized and decentralized data storage to protect the user data.
Ključne besede: blockchain, self-sovereign identity, management systems, identity data, Sovrin network.
