Uporaba managementskih orodij v slovenskih organizacijah

Opis: V managementu je razvitih nešteto idej in konceptov, ki jih zaposleni uporabljajo pri svojem delu v organizacijah. Uporaba managementskih idej in konceptov v poslovni praksi se uresničuje s pomočjo managementskih orodij. Temeljni namen prispevka je predstaviti stanje uporabe managementskih orodij v slovenskih organizacijah, primerjati njihovo uporabo z visoko razvitimi zahodnimi ekonomijami ter opredeliti temeljne smernice za prihodnjo uporabo managementskih orodij v slovenskih organizacijah. V slovenskih organizacijah so v ospredju orodja, ki podpirajo optimizacijo delovanja organizacij, tem sledijo orodja za podporo managementa odnosov z odjemalci. V visoko razvitih zahodnih ekonomijah, npr. EU 15 in ZDA, pa so v ospredju orodja za podporo managementa odnosov z odjemalci, orodja za optimizacijo poslovanja pa niso več v ospredju. Takšno stanje uporabe managementskih orodij v slovenskih organizacijah nakazuje na še vedno odprta vprašanja preoblikovanja organizacijin optimizacije njihovega delovanja. Na temelju trendov uporabe orodij v zahodnih ekonomijah prispevek podaja smernice za prihodnjo uporabo managementskih orodij v slovenskih organizacijah.

Opis: Although the designing of cutting-dies is a complex and experience-based process, it is poorly supported by conventional 3D CAD software. Thus, the majority of design activities, including the (re)modeling of those cutting die-components that are directly responsible for performing shaping operations on a sheet-metal stamping part, traditionally still need to be carried-out repetitively, separately, and manually by the designer. In order to eliminate some of these drawbacks and upgrade the capabilities of conventional 3D CAD software, this paper proposes a new methodology for the development of a parametric system capable of automatically performing a (re)modeling process of compound washer diesć cutting-components. The presented methodology integrates CATIA V5 built-in modules, including Part Design, Assembly Design and Knowledge Advisor, publication mechanism, and compound cutting die-design knowledge. The system developed by this methodology represents an 'intelligent' assembly template composed of two modules 'GAJA1' and 'GAJA2', respectively. 'GAJA1' is responsible for the direct input of the die-design problem regarding the shape, dimensions and material of the stamping part, its extraction in the form of geometric features, and the transferring of relevant design parameters and features to the module 'GAJA2'. 'GAJA2' interprets the current values for the input parameters and automatically performs the modeling process of cutting die-components, using die-design knowledge and the company's internal design and manufacturing standards. Experimental results show that the use of this system significantly shortens the modeling-time for cutting the die-components, improves the modeling-quality, and enables the training of inexperienced designers.

Improving products' ergonomic value using intelligent decision support system

Opis: During the process of defining suitable design solutions, a designer has to consider a wide range of influential factors. Ergonomics certainly belongs to more complex ones. Less experienced designers could encounter several problems during this design stage. Although some literature can be found about ergonomic design of hand tools, a designer still has to have amassed quite a lot of experience and knowledge in the field of ergonomic, in order to choose and carry out appropriate design and redesign actions. Existing computer tools for ergonomic design are not able to assist a designer with higher level advice within design process. An intelligent decision support system has been developed in order to overcome this bottleneck. This paper presents a knowledge base, containing ergonomic design knowledge specific for hand tools design. A pneumatic hammer handle design is used as a case study to show how ergonomic design knowledge built in the system is used to improve the ergonomic value of the product.

RAČUNALNIK KOT ORODJE ZA AVDIOINŽENIRING

Opis: Namen diplomske naloge je proučiti teorijo zvoka, osnove akustike, vpliv okolice pri snemanju zvoka in obdelavo zvoka. V nalogi sem se poglobil v produkcijo novodobne glasbe s pomočjo računalniških programskih orodji za obdelavo avdio signalov. Za to tematiko sem se odločil, ker se v današnjem času večina avtorjev, tudi najboljših, odloča za računalniško obdelavo lastne glasbe. Očitno je, da za izdelavo vrhunskih posnetkov ni več dovolj samo posluh in dober glas izvajalca, ampak potrebujemo tudi dobrega tonskega mojstra ter vrhunsko studijsko in računalniško opremo. Pri urejanju in spreminjanju avdio signalov sem se osredotočil predvsem na programsko orodje Melodyne.

Influence of the milling strategy on the durability of forging tools

Opis: The quality of a tool's surface has a direct influence on the number of well-produced parts. For the machining of an active tool surface, two technological processes are used: electrical discharge machining and high-speed milling. These two processes are used when machining new tools and for the repairing of used forging tools. In both cases, the material has already been thermally treated, so it has to be used for hard milling. Practical experience shows that the milling strategy has a big influence on the durability of a forging tool. This paper shows the influence of the CNC machining direction during high-speed milling on the durability of the engraving within the forging tool. In some cases the correct milling strategy can increase the durability of the forging tool by about one third.
