1. Pandemic and politics in Mary Shelley’s The last manMichelle Gadpaille, 2022, original scientific article Abstract: As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, readers and scholars turn to previous pandemic writing. Among the accounts of past pandemics, Mary Shelley’s The Last Man (1826) might not be the most familiar, although it stands out, not merely because of its female author and futuristic, dystopian mode. Its real distinction is that it predicts the social and political fallout of a pandemic in ways that echo the global experience of coronavirus reaction over the last few years, specifically, the ideological polarization created by anti-pandemic measures. 2. Categorisation of open government data literatureAljaž Ferencek, Mirjana Kljajić Borštnar, Ajda Pretnar Žagar, 2022, review article Abstract: Background: Due to the emerging global interest in Open Government Data, research papers on various topics in this area have increased.
Objectives: This paper aims to categorise Open government data research.
Methods/Approach: A literature review was conducted to provide a complete overview and classification of open government data research. Hierarchical clustering, a cluster analysis method, was used, and a hierarchy of clusters on selected data sets emerged.
Results: The results of this study suggest that there are two distinct clusters of research, which either focus on government perspectives and policies on OGD, initiatives, and portals or focus on regional studies, adoption of OGD, platforms, and barriers to implementation. Further findings suggest that research gaps could be segmented into many thematic areas, focusing on success factors, best practices, the impact of open government data, barriers/challenges in implementing open government data, etc.
Conclusions: The extension of the paper, which was first presented at the Entrenova conference, provides a comprehensive overview of research to date on the implementation of OGD and points out that this topic has already received research attention, which focuses on specific segments of the phenomenon and signifies in which direction new research should be made. 3. Exploring digital twins in the transport and energy fields : a bibliometrics and literature review approachNena Orel Šanko, Borut Jereb, Tina Cvahte Ojsteršek, 2023, review article Abstract: Logistics and transport are major sources of energy consumption that still rely heavily on fossil fuels. Especially in the freight sector, finding means to optimise fuel consumption and energy efficiency are increasingly important. Digital twins’ adaptation in logistics and transport is not as frequent as in production, but their implementation potential is immense. This technology can replicate real environments, allowing verification of various scenarios without real-life application, leading to optimal implementation outcome faster and more efficiently. This paper aims to research digital twins’ use in logistics and transport, focusing on digital twins’ potential and effects to optimise energy consumption. Firstly, previous research on digital twins in specified fields was identified, followed by a quantitative literature review. The latter focused on codifying the selected publications based on criteria such as modality, specific environment, energy consumption, etc. Furthermore, a qualitative overview of 57 relevant publications on digital twins’ use in logistics and transport was made. The main contribution of this paper is the systematic overview of digital twins from the viewpoint of energy optimisation in one of the most energy-dependent sectors. This gives researchers a good starting point for further research and digital twins’ practical implementation cases. 4. Literary works including children with special needsNika Vizjak Puškar, Dragica Haramija, 2023, independent scientific component part or a chapter in a monograph Abstract: Owing to their inclusion in the education system, teachers often encounter students with special needs during their work. When working with these students, the teacher’s level of empathy is extremely important, however it is difficult to achieve if they are not familiar with how these students think and feel. One way of becoming acquainted with individuals with special needs is by becoming familiar with their thinking patterns, especially their emotional responses. The paper presents literary sources related to the topic, wherein the sources are evaluated, and the selected works are analysed. Besides the method of analysis (protagonists, supporting characters, literary space, literary time, subject, theme, motifs, narrator, structure, and plot), the descriptive method for presenting theoretical starting points and the method of synthesis in the conclusion are also used. 5. Effectiveness of health promotion interventions in primary schools : a mixed methods literature reviewJoca Zurc, Camilla Laaksonen, 2023, review article Abstract: School-based health promotion interventions (HPIs) are commonly used in schools, but scientific evidence about the structures of effective interventions is lacking. Therefore, we conducted a mixed methods systematic literature review to recognize the HPI structures related to their effectiveness. Based on the inclusion criteria, 49 articles were selected for the literature review. The articles, published in 2011–2022, described 46 different school-based interventions conducted in 20 different countries. The average duration of the interventions was 12 months, and they were implemented mostly with an RCT study design (61.2%) and by targeting children (69.4%). Three main groups of interventions were identified and explained: (1) extensive and long-term interventions; (2) school policy-changing interventions; and (3) highly effective interventions. Effective school-based HPIs included multiple target groups, multiple providers with external experts, and an efficient duration and timing of follow-ups. The implications for educational research and school practice are presented. Evidence on the effectiveness of health-related interventions is still lacking and needs to be addressed in further studies. 6. Wellness tourism research : bibliometric study of the scientific fieldMilica Rančić Demir, Mila Zečević, 2022, review article Abstract: The paper presents the results of a bibliometric analysis of academic research covering the field of wellness tourism. The purpose of the article is to identify the structure of relationships between topics that were current in the past and topics that are current now. The aim of the research was to better understand the development of the field of wellness tourism, important constructs, authors, and resources with the help of bibliometric methods. For detailed research of the field of literature on wellness tourism, some two set bibliometric strategies were used: co-citation and keyword co-occurrence. In our bibliometric mapping of the wellness tourism research field, we have investigated the scientific production of articles over the years, the most important journals in the field, and keyword co-occurrence patterns. The obtained results of the study showed a significant increase in the number of publications related to wellness tourism. When it comes to the importance of individual journals, we have identified the 20 best journals that have published the most articles in this field. 7. Literary tourism : the role of Russian 19th century travel literature in the positioning of the smallest European royal capital - CetinjeAndriela Vitić-Ćetković, Ivona Jovanović, Jasna Potočnik Topler, 2020, original scientific article Abstract: Increasing competition on the global tourism market forces numerous tourist destinations to create a specific image and diversify their offers through innovative and sustainable tourism products. In view of this, there is a range of possibilities for utilizing historical resources, tangible and intangible cultural heritage, including travel literature, which has not been considered in Montenegro thus far in the context of potentials for enhancing the tourist offer. This paper is focusing on the research of travel literature by 19th century authors from Russia who wrote about Cetinje and Montenegro, as well as the possibilities of creating a destination image and diversified experience for specific market niches, primarily the tourists from Russia who have been among the most numerous in Montenegro. The expected outcome of the research is to point out the importance of valorisation of Russian traveler literature in the context of creating a destination image. Considering the negative propaganda of a part of the media in Russia when Montenegro entered NATO in 2017, it is expected that this Balkan and Adriatic country, whose primary business is tourism, will have to identify and acquire state-of-the-art modalities for attracting new target segments from the Russian Federation. In this paper, literary tourism with the concepts of town - museum, town of books and storytelling, as marketing communications tools, are proposed to promote the revival and valorization of historical events, historical figures and Cetinje's former image in the positioning of the tourism destination, also in the conte xt of sustainable tourism development. 8. Text mining tourism literatureAjda Pretnar Žagar, Tomaž Curk, 2021, published scientific conference contribution Abstract: Literature reviews are essential for understanding a specific domain as they map the main topics of current re-search. Our aim was to provide a framework for retrieving articles from online databases and analyzing them in a single script. We provide the analytical pipeline as open-source (https://github.com/tourism4-0/BibMine). The main research focus was on analyzing 318 abstracts from scientific papers on tourism and innovation, which we report in Zach et al. (2019). We used LDA topic modeling to uncover ten main topics, which we analyzed using pyLDAvis visualization. We used saliency and relevance scores to determine the main words that de-scribe a topic. The uncovered topics range from climate change and land use to smart destinations, travel expe-riences, and ICT. We performed similar analyses for the term "stakeholders," where we also observed the main verbs related to the query. Since verbs best define an activity, we used them to determine how stakeholders are involved in tourism development. Finally, we analyzed papers with the keyword "technology," where energy efficiency, VR, web technology, and augmented tourist experiences were the main topics. 9. Resident perceptions and responses to tourism : individual vs community level impactsTina Šegota, Tanja Mihalič, Richard R. Perdue, 2022, original scientific article Abstract: This paper reviews resident tourism attitude research through the lens of the individual- and community-level perceived impacts of and responses to tourism. It explores how perceived impacts of tourism and responses to tourism development have been conceptualised and measured in the existing resident attitudes models published between 1990 and 2020. Three categories of variables were identified and used: antecedent variables, tourism impact variables, and dependent variables. The latter three categories are used to discuss the research topic from the lenses of improvements in measurement instruments. Finally, the paper suggests rethinking the overall conceptualisation of residents’ perceptions of and reactions to tourism – it proposes future research directions to distinguish between individual-level and community-level effects and reactions. 10. Literary walking tours as a form of well-being : Slovene writers' trail and the Prežihov Voranc routeJasna Potočnik Topler, 2022, independent scientific component part or a chapter in a monograph Abstract: The concept of literary tourism is becoming increasingly interesting, not only for researchers and students, but also for tourism practitioners and destination managers, who are interested in the supply of and demand for this sub-type of cultural tourism. In recent decades, it has become an important niche in tourism. Especially in rural areas it is perceived as useful in supporting the existent tourism activities and helping to develop new ones. Not only is it prose, drama and poetry that inspire people to become literary tourists, but also biographies and autobiographies, screen adaptations of literary works, theatre performances, etc. Literary walking tours have emerged as a wellreceived type of literary tourism product, which have been associated to well-being. Some of them are also included in the most popular tour guides, such as, for example, The Lonely Planet.
