IZBOLJŠANJE UPORABNIŠKE IZKUŠNJE V TRGOVINAH

Abstract: Glavni cilj magistrske naloge je raziskati področje uporabniške izkušnje na splošno in še posebej v maloprodajni industriji. Magistrsko delo temeljito raziskuje nove tehnologije in študije primerov njihove uporabe. Glede na široko področje raziskovanja, smo se osredotočili na sodobne brezžične tehnologije, kot je Bluetooth LE. V okviru raziskave, smo preučiti tudi mentalne modele kupcev, ki lahko pomembno vplivajo na uporabo novih tehnologij. Naša osnovna hipoteza je, da bo uporaba novih tehnologij izboljšajo uporabniško izkušnjo v trgovinah in da bodo uporabniki lahko učinkoviteje porabili svoj čas v trgovini. • H1: Vedenje uporabnikov v javnih prostorih (trgovinah) je odvisno od podatkov v fizičnih in elektronski okoljih, ki ga obkrožajo. Elektronska okolja postavljajo kontekst za interakcijo med ljudmi in računalniškimi storitvami. • H2: Atmosfera v trgovinah vpliva na način dojemanja izdelkov. Svetla in zanimivejša trgovina daje uporabniku občutek, da gre za trgovino s kakovostnimi izdelki. Interaktivni elementi, kot so prikazovalniki, mobilne aplikacije z nadgrajeno resničnostjo, ipd. spodbujajo raziskovanje in naredijo izdelke bolj atraktivne.

The Internet of Things Communication Protocol for Devices with Low Memory Footprint

Abstract: This paper describes a new communication protocol named XMC which is designed for the transmission of messages between an embedded device and a remote system. A new markup language called XMDD has also been developed and is used to describe the functional profile of the embedded device. The main advantage of the XMC communication protocol is its flexibility and independence from the device type. It is suitable for communication with devices that have a curtailed amount of working memory (a few kB) and limited computing power, i.e. 8-bit or 16-bit microcontrollers. Messaging between the embedded device and the remote systems is done without any interference with the basic source code of the embedded device, thus allowing access to all functionalities and features of the connectable embedded device and is based on the functionality dictionary and built-in features of an embedded device. It also maintains a low production price for the embedded device and from the programming point of view provides a transparent and flexible upgrade of the hardware and software without any redundancy input.

Intra-minute cloud passing forecasting based on a low cost iot sensor - a solution for smoothing the output power of PV power plants

Abstract: Clouds moving at a high speed in front of the Sun can cause step changes in the output power of photovoltaic (PV) power plants, which can lead to voltage fluctuations and stability problems in the connected electricity networks. These effects can be reduced effectively by proper short-term cloud passing forecasting and suitable PV power plant output power control. This paper proposes a low-cost Internet of Things (IoT)-based solution for intra-minute cloud passing forecasting. The hardware consists of a Raspberry PI Model B 3 with a WiFi connection and an OmniVision OV5647 sensor with a mounted wide-angle lens, a circular polarizing (CPL) filter and a natural density (ND) filter. The completely new algorithm for cloud passing forecasting uses the green and blue colors in the photo to determine the position of the Sun, to recognize the clouds, and to predict their movement. The image processing is performed in several stages, considering selectively only a small part of the photo relevant to the movement of the clouds in the vicinity of the Sun in the next minute. The proposed algorithm is compact, fast and suitable for implementation on low cost processors with low computation power. The speed of the cloud parts closest to the Sun is used to predict when the clouds will cover the Sun. WiFi communication is used to transmit this data to the PV power plant control system in order to decrease the output power slowly and smoothly.

Development of smart energy meter using arm platform

Abstract: This master thesis describes the development of smart electricity energy meter on the ARM platform. In general, the commercial electrical energy meters are measuring only the total active energy, therefore, users cannot also monitor other important power consumption parameters. The goal of this thesis is to develop a prototype of smart ARM based energy meter, which is capable to measure several power consumption parameters and display them on a webpage in real-time. In the thesis the complete design of the ARM based smart energy meter is presented in detail. Further, the development of user interface for displaying measured data on the webpage in real-time is also presented. These results are presented both in textual and graphical form. Additionally, the theory of electric power consumption measurements and some commercial energy meters are presented.

Uporaba tehnologij javascript na področju interneta stvari

Abstract: V magistrskem delu je raziskan razvoj sistemov interneta stvari s pomočjo JavaScript tehnologij. Razloženi so koncepti ki jih je potrebno razumeti, ter ozadje in osnovni pojmi interneta stvari. Na začetku se osredotočamo na sam pomen in definicijo interneta stvari, njegovo zgodovino ter opisovanja z njim povezanih konceptov, ki jih moramo razumeti. Nato so raziskane nekatere od najbolj aktualnih JavaScript ogrodjih in knjižnic, ki se uporabljajo za razvoj interneta stvari na vseh plasteh njegove arhitekture.
