1. Vpliv vodenja na počutje in produktivnost zaposlenih v Hotelu PakaVerena Oprešnik, 2025, undergraduate thesis Abstract: V zadnjih treh desetletjih znanstvene raziskave vse bolj poudarjajo pomembnost zadovoljstva zaposlenih na delovnem mestu. To namreč pozitivno vpliva na njihovo zdravje, splošno počutje in produktivnost. V veliki meri je za ohranjanje dobre delovne klime, ustreznih pogojev in zadovoljstva zaposlenih zadolžen vodja.
Vodenje se razlikuje predvsem po slogu vodenja, ki ga vodja prilagodi glede na svoje osebnostne lastnosti, organizacijo in panogo, v kateri organizacija deluje. Vodja se prilagaja tudi posameznim situacijam, v katerih se znajde podjetje. Zaradi neizbežnih sprememb v združbi se pojavlja potreba po nenehnem nadgrajevanju in posodabljanju vodstvenih spretnosti, ki so temelj za dolgoročno in uspešno poslovanje organizacij.
V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela se osredotočamo na vodenje v hotelirstvu. S pomočjo intervjuja in anketiranja smo zbrali podatke o vplivu vodenja na počutje in produktivnost zaposlenih v Hotelu Paka. Intervju smo opravili z vodjo hotela, od katerega smo izvedeli, kakšen je njegov pristop k vodenju, na kakšen način skrbi za podporo zaposlenim, njihovo počutje in motiviranost, kako rešuje konflikte in podobno. Hkrati smo pripravili anketni vprašalnik in anketirali 12 oseb, ki so vsaj leto dni zaposlene v Hotelu Paka. Vprašalnik je temeljil na njihovi izkušnji z vodenjem na delovnem mestu. Ugotovili smo, da imajo zaposleni v splošnem dokaj pozitivno mnenje o svojem neposredno nadrejenem. Ugotovili pa smo tudi, da se mnenja zaposlenih razlikujejo, saj del anketiranih meni, da se njihovo mnenje ne upošteva dovolj, ali da njihovo znanje ni optimalno izkoriščeno. To kaže na pomembnost nadaljnjega razvoja kompetenc vodij, še posebej na področjih komunikacije, motivacije in obvladovanja konfliktov. Intervju z vodjo je pokazal, da se vodstvo zaveda pomena odprte komunikacije, vključevanja zaposlenih ter poštenega odnosa do sodelavcev. Prav tako smo opazili pripravljenost vodje za nadaljnje izboljšave in osebno rast na področju vodenja. 3. Performance drivers in the hospitality industry : evidence from Slovenia and CroatiaValentina Božič, 2025, review article Abstract: Purpose of the article –The aim of this paper is to identify key elements that drive performance in the field of hospitality and to test their impact on performance on the sample of hospitality companies in Slovenia and Croatia.
Research methodology –Extensive literature review and content analysis contributed to the list of 30 drivers of hospitality performance that have been evaluated through Delphi method. In quantitative study, final list of drivers is linked to performance data on the sample of hospitality companies from Slovenia and Croatia.
Findings –Hotel managers evaluated service quality, segmentation, and customer satisfaction as the major performance drivers. Further analysis showed that there is no single driver of performance that is relevant for any hospitality company. Cluster analysis offered five groups of companies that focused on their specific mix of performance drivers.
Practical implications –The research offers a holistic view on the field of performance drivers while offering guidelines for industry practitioners when deciding where to focus to achieve targeted performance. 4. Motivacija zaposlenih v butičnem hotelu X : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijaKlara Zala Umek, 2025, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Zaključno delo se nanaša na prepoznavanje ključnih motivacijskih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na zaposlene v turističnem sektorju, s posebnim poudarkom na zaposlene v butičnih hotelih. Sodobni turisti vse manj povprašujejo po verižnih hotelih in vedno bolj cenijo edinstvena doživetja, ki jih ponujajo butični hoteli. Ti svojim gostom nudijo bolj intimno in osebno izkušnjo. V prvi vrsti imajo butični hoteli prijazno osebje, ki se z gosti ukvarja na zelo topel in prijazen način. Zaposleni imajo bistveno vlogo pri izkušnji gostov, zato je pomembno razumeti, kateri dejavniki jih najbolj motivirajo k zavzetemu in kakovostnemu delu. Delo obravnava prepoznavanje ključnih motivacijskih dejavnikov, ki pozitivno vplivajo na motivacijo zaposlenih v sektorju, ki je znan po visoki fluktuaciji kadra, in raziskuje učinkovite pristope za ohranjanje zadovoljnega in zavzetega osebja v hotelski industriji. Za poglobljen vpogled v tematiko je bila izvedena študija primera v izbranem butičnem hotelu. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da zaposlene motivirajo najrazličnejši dejavniki, kot so pohvale, dobro delovno okolje in možnosti za strokovni razvoj. Na podlagi ugotovitev so podani predlogi za uvedbo bolj fleksibilnih sistemov nagrajevanja in dostopnejših možnosti usposabljanja, ki ne bi posegala v prosti čas zaposlenih, s čimer bi butični hoteli izboljšali zadovoljstvo in motivacijo kadra. 5. Analysis of the use of social media components on Serbian hotels’ websitesDragana Ćamilović, Snežana Konjikušić, 2025, original scientific article Abstract: The research presented in this paper aims to determine to what extent hotels in Serbia use social media components on their websites. A total of 378 hotel websites in the Republic of Serbia were analysed. For each analysed hotel, the following attributes were observed: region, category, type, and size of the establishment, while the presence of valid links to social networks, the presence of a blog, Google Map, or a link to it, and the number of versions of the site in a foreign language were analysed on their websites. Descriptive statistics and the chisquare test were applied in data processing. The research has shown that hotels in Serbia insufficiently use social media components on their websites. These findings can be useful for hotels as they may indicate ways to improve their websites. 6. Analysing the relationship between hotelsʹ internal marketing and employee engagement dimensionsKristina Črnjar, Jasmina Dlačić, Borut Milfelner, 2020, original scientific article Abstract: Purpose – In the hotel industry, as in all services, the goal is to have satisfied employees who are engaged in their job. From a marketing perspective, one of the possible ways companies can achieve that is by adopting internal marketing practices. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to research the relationship between internal marketing and different dimensions of employee engagement (emotional, cognitive and physical) in the hotel industry.
Design/Methodology/Approach – The data was collected through a paper-and-pencil questionnaire on a sample of 573 hotel employees in Croatia. Adapted scales from previous research were used for measuring research constructs using the back-translation technique. Conceptual model and hypotheses were tested with covariance based structural equation modelling.
Findings and implications – The results show that internal marketing had a positive and statistically significant impact on emotional and cognitive engagement. Cognitive engagement, in turn, had a positive impact on emotional and physical engagement, while emotional engagement had a positive impact on physical engagement.
Limitations – The use of self-evaluations could potentially cause social desirability bias. The study is limited only to Croatian hotels, which might vary from hotel industries in other parts of the world.
Originality – This paper contributes to the development of internal marketing, as it identifies the relationship between internal marketing and different forms of employee engagement. Employee engagement is approached multidimensionally as consisting of emotional, cognitive and physical engagement. By distinguishing different engagement dimensions, the paper contributes to the theory of personal engagement with testing employee engagement concept in the hotel industry. 8. Dojemanje podnebnih sprememb in preverjanje učinkovitosti apelov strahu v oglaševanju zelenih hotelov : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijaTadeja Tratar, 2024, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Vprašanje blaženja podnebnih sprememb je osrednje problemsko področje tudi za
turizem, kjer ima pomembno vlogo spodbujanje prepoznavnosti trajnostnega
certificiranja, kot je Zeleni ključ za turistične nastanitve. Za uspešno delovanje tovrstnih certifikatov je pomembno, kakšno mnenje imajo o njih potencialni gosti in na kakšen način je smiselno izpostavljati certifikate v oglaševanju nastanitev. V skladu s teorijo apelov strahu v prepričevalnem komuniciranju so sporočila o negativnih posledicah podnebnih sprememb lahko učinkovita, vendar le dokler mera strahu ni previsoka in ima občinstvo na voljo učinkovite načine za odpravljanje grožnje. V zaključnem delu smo z eksperimentalno metodo preverjali učinkovitost apelov strahu o podnebnih
spremembah in prisotnost certifikata v oglasu na odnos do oglasa, odnos do podobe hotela, namero rezervacije in percepcijo zelenega zavajanja. Eksperimentalna metoda ni pokazala razlik med skupinami glede na tip oglasa: apel strahu ni imel vpliva na odločitve anketirancev, niti ni bilo razlik glede na prisotnost certificiranja v oglasu. Rezultati torej kažejo nizko možnost doseganja sprememb z zgolj enim oglasom in v spletnem okolju, kjer je pozornost občinstev nizka. Je pa raziskava pokazala statistično značilne korelacije med odvisnimi spremenljivkami in okoljevarstvom in odnosom do
certificiranosti. Nadalje, rezultati naloge so pokazali, da so bili anketiranci močno naklonjeni okoljevarstvu ter so imeli pozitiven odnos do trajnostnih ali okoljskih certifikatov. Sklepamo, da je smotrno spodbujati turistične ponudnike k zelenim praksam glede na pozitivne ocene certificiranja. Glede vprašanja o vlogi apelov strahu pri komuniciranju podnebnih sprememb pa svetujemo nadaljnje raziskovanje, ki bo vključevalo dolgoročnejše spremljanje učinkov komuniciranja. It is often caused by minimal growth opportunities, intensive work, lack of flexibility, limited opportunities for promotion, lack of recognition, etc. Investment in human resources, strategies that maintain an adequate workforce and improve employee engagement is quite justified cost with multiple returns. The specific issue is that hospitality leaders often do not know the relationships between employee satisfaction, employee motivation and employee engagement, which may be the basis for understanding their intention to leave the job. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the three job-related constructs: motivation, job satisfaction, and work engagement, as well as to examine their impact on employee turnover. The results confirmed a positive relationship between job satisfaction and motivation, satisfaction and work engagement, as well as the relationship between motivation and engagement. On the other side, the results showed that job satisfaction, dedication, and vigor negatively predict employee turnover. The findings may provide hotel managers with a foundation to understand this issue and assume where to direct their research and how to improve job conditions. Arhitekturna ureditev starega mestnega jedra - kare ob Turški mački in revitalizacija hotela Turška mačka : magistrsko deloKatarina Žnidarec, 2023, master's thesis Abstract: Tema magistrskega dela izhaja iz potrebe po ureditvi starega mestnega jedra Celja - kare ob Turški mački in ponovnem delovanju hotela Turška mačka. Slednji
še danes velja za eno izmed najbolj prepoznavnih stavb v mestu. Hotel Turška mačka ima bogato zgodovino. Pomemben je predvsem zaradi umetniške in arhitekturne vrednosti ter umeščenosti v staro mestno jedro. Obdajajo ga namreč pomembne javne stavbe kot so Narodni dom, kjer ima svoje poslovne prostore Mestna občina Celje, Slovensko ljudsko gledališče Celje z Gledališkim trgom, v neposredni bližini je tudi Minoritski samostan z Marijino cerkvijo. Z rekonstrukcijo hotela smo ohranili pomembno stavbo iz časa modernizma in tako obnovili objekt, ki je pomemben za prebivalce in obiskovalce Celja. Zaradi zgodovinske pomembnosti arheoloških ostalin in bližine zahodno rimskega obzidja smo zasnovali prostor, kjer bodo le-te predstavljene. Poudarek dela temelji na prikazu kontrasta med starim in novim delom, vendar ob tem vseeno tvori celoto, ki v mestnem jedru deluje homogeno in nevsiljivo.
Z novo idejno zasnovo smo pripomogli k uresničevanju strategije trajnostnega razvoja in trajnostne mobilnosti mesta, ki predvideva postopen umik prometa iz mestnega središča. Zato predlagamo, da bi se za potrebe hotela zakupila parkirišča ob obstoječih bližnjih javnih objektih.
