Management concepts transformation in Slovenia
Duško Uršič, Marjan Pivka, 2000, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: In the last ten years Slovenia has been faced with a quite holistic transition of general social and organisation life. In our paper, first of all, we will emphasise the model of transition of management in Slovenia with presentation of field research results from our several years lasting research of management in Slovenia. The presented model of transition is based on the systems approach as our methodological version of systems thinking. This approach has been developed by our team since 1992 and it allowed research of way of thinking of managers about the transition of management concepts and effects of prevailed application projects, both at the same time and in interaction.

Outsourcing logistics at petrol stations in Slovenia
Ratko Zelenika, Darko Bečaj, Helga Pavlić, 2008, kratki znanstveni prispevek

Opis: The environmental disburdening by means of outsourcing logistics (sorting, bundling, transport) is today significantly more present, since this has been regulated by the law provisions on environmental protection and the economic reasons. Outsourcing logistics in this field with its activities such as: improvement in assembling separate fraction, introduction of new, i. e. additional boxes, usage of specific vehicles for collection and dispatch, reestablishment of information systems and organization of a centre for disburdening of the environment(sorting, bundling and waste disposal) is contributing largely to a better accomplishment of the mission of logistics rationalization and adaptation to new law claims on environmental protection.

Methodology for assessing sustainability of an air transport system
Milan Janić, 2002, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Assessment and operationalisation of the concept of a sustainable air transport system have been recognised recently as an important but complex research, operational and policy tasks. In the scope of the current academic efforts to properly address these problems, this paper develops methodology for assessing the sustainability of an air transport system. The methodology is based on the indicator systems of sustainability defined for the operational, economic, social, and environmental dimensions of the system performance. The measures are defined for each indicator to express the systemeffects (benefits) and impacts (costs) for particular actors such as the system users--air travellers, air transport operators, aerospace manufacturers, local community members, local and central government. They are assumed to evaluate the system sustainability with respect to the values of selected indicators. Generally, for all of them the system will be sustainable if the indicators representing effects (benefits) are as high as possible and increase with increasing system output, and the indicators representing impacts (costs) are as low as possible and decrease with increasing system output.
