PRIMERJAVA ZMOGLJIVOSTI PODATKOVNEGA NIVOJA PROGRAMSKIH REŠITEV ZA RAZLIČNE PODATKOVNE BAZE

Abstract: Diplomsko delo prikazuje rezultate meritev delovanja poslovno informacijskega sistema Pantheon na dveh različnih platformah, Microsoft SQL Server in Oracle Database. V prvem delu smo opisali dve platformi na katerih deluje Pantheon, to sta Microsoft SQL Server in Oracle Database. V drugem delu smo opisali poslovno informacijski sistem Pantheon, proizvajalca Datalab tehnologije d.d. Zatem sledijo izbira aplikacije za izvajanje meritev, izvajanje meritev in rezultati meritev. S pomočjo dobljenih rezultatov lahko določimo katera platforma je bolj primerna za podjetje, ker vemo da je hitrost pridobivanja podatkov zelo pomembna.

A Hybrid analytical-neural network approach to the determination of optimal cutting conditions

Abstract: In the contribution, a new hybrid optimization technique for complex optimization of cutting parameters is proposed. The developed approach is based on the maximum production rate criterion and incorporates 10 technological constrains. It describes the multi-objective techniqueof optimization of cutting conditions by means of the artificial neural network (ANN) and OPTIS routine by taking into consideration the technological, economic and organization limitations. The analytical module OPTIS selects theoptimum cutting conditions from commercial databases with respect to minimum machining costs. By selection of optimum cutting conditions, it is possible to reach a favourable ratio between the low machining costs and high productivity taking into account the given limitation of the cutting process. To reach higher precision of the predicet results, a hybrid optimization algorithm is developed and presented to ensure sample, fast and efficient optimization of all important turning parameters. _

Relational database as a cogitative part of an intelligent manufacturing system

Abstract: An intelligent manufacturing system is intended to produce one or more subjects that it is designed for in an optimal way. This means that it has to find a proper production process to produce the subject in an optimal way. The manufacturing system can be called "intelligent" when it is able to find applicable optimisation criteria upon its past experiences thus improving its performance in future. Therefore, an intelligent manufacturing system needs capabilities to store data and make decisions upon them. Such a "brain" can be established by a proper design of a technological database and its database management system (DBMS). Examining all constitutive parameters of a work operation a model of a production process organization can be made, which can serve as a basis for a suitable database design. In addition, an application programme that will check the existence and availability of work operations in the database has to be added to the DBMS. What remains are some optimisation criteria upon which we will choose an operation among suitable and available work operations. This task is fulfilled by a genetic algorithm optimisation technique that would consider work operations' data as parameters of optimisation and on this basis search the optimal one out of the set of available operation.

PRIMERJAVA PRISTOPOV K RAZVOJU PODATKOVNEGA SLOJA Z ADO.NET ENTITY FRAMEWORK

Abstract: V diplomskem delu se primerjajo postopki načrtovanja podatkovnih modelov v ogrodju Entity Framework. Na začetku se osredotoča na samo arhitekturo ogrodja ter prednosti, ki jih ponujajo tehnologije ADO.NET, ADO.NET Entity Framework in LINQ. Predstavljene so tri tehnike oz. poteki dela s principi baze prej, modela prej in kode prej. Vsak izmed postopkov načrtovanja je opremljen s kratkim primerom in obrazložitvijo delovanja ter prednostmi, ki jih ponuja. Naloga je zaključena z razčlenitvijo prednosti in slabosti posameznega postopka načrtovanja, vrsto aplikacije in želje posameznih razvijalcev.

PODATKOVNE BAZE V OBLAKU

Abstract: Računalništvo v oblaku se v zadnjih letih zelo hitro razvija in razširja. Eden od možnih načinov zapisovanja podatkov je tudi zapisovanje v podatkovno bazo, zato sta ti dve storitvi združeni v eno, in sicer v podatkovne baze v oblaku. V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni trije ponudniki storitve podatkovnih baz v oblaku. Za vsakega ponudnika je opisano na kakšen način se lahko vzpostavi podatkovna baza v oblaku in kako se lahko izdela aplikacija, ki zna opravljati s to podatkovno bazo v oblaku. Za pomoč pri izbiri najprimernejšega ponudnika storitve podatkovnih baz v oblaku je predstavljena primerjava stroškov in hitrosti izvedenih akcij med obravnavanimi ponudniki.

ZAGOTAVLJANJE RAZPOLOŽLJIVOSTI INFRASTRUKTURNIH STORITEV

Abstract: Pomembnost zagotavljanja zanesljivosti in razpoložljivosti infrastrukturnih storitev predstavlja eno ključnih nalog informacijske in telekomunikacijske tehnologije. Osnovna ideja zagotavljanja visoke razpoložljivosti infrastrukturnih rešitev je, da vse spremembe, ki se dogajajo v postopkih spremljanja poslovanja na primarni bazi, čim hitreje prenesejo tudi na nadomestno bazo, ki obstoja na neki oddaljeni lokaciji glede na primarno bazo. V normalnem delovanju uporabniki delajo na primarni bazi, medtem ko je nadomestna baza v stanju pripravljenosti. Vse spremembe na primarni bazi se samodejno prenašajo na nadomestno lokacijo in s posebnim avtomatiziranim postopkom vpisujejo v nadomestno bazo. V primeru kakršnekoli nastale napake v postopkih izvajanja poslovanja na informacijskem področju mora sistem pravilno opredeliti vrsto in zahtevnost nastale napake. V zahtevnih primerih nastale napake mora biti računalniški sistem na nadomestni lokaciji sposoben v čim krajšem času avtomatizirano prevzeti vse funkcionalnosti, ki jih je pred napako nudil primarni sistem.

UPORABA TEHNOLOGIJ ZA ZAGOTAVLJANJE REVIZIJSKE SLEDI V PRODUKTIH ORACLE

Abstract: V diplomski nalogi smo se osredotočili na ranljivost in varovanje občutljivih podatkov v podatkovnih bazah. Natančneje kako nam tehnologija Oracle Database Vault omogoča zavarovanje dostopa do teh podatkov. V začetku smo predstavili podatkovne baze in njihove največje nevarnosti. Nato smo predelali zakone ter standarde na področju osebnih podatkov, potrebe po revizijski sledi in informacijski varnosti. V zaključku pa smo predelali tehnologije za varovanje podatkovnih baz in vodenje revizije Oracle ter se nato osredotočili na tehnologiji Oracle Audit Vault in Oracle Database Vault.

COMPARISON OF MYSQL, NEO4J AND APACHE HIVE DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Abstract: In this work a comparison of three different database management systems (DBMS) is presented. In general a relational data model with a graph data model is compared. The three systems used are MySQL, Neo4j and Apache Hive. Neo4j is a member of the NoSQL database family and is a well-known graph database. The relational databases used in this work are MySQL and Apache Hive. The latter is not a classic relational model but since it is modelled as such it can be considered relational. MySQL is a well-known solution that has been on the market for several years now and is a standard solution for many data problems. Within this work a detailed comparison of all three systems from different aspects of usage is made, both from our own experience as well as from preliminary research from other authors and sources. Additionally some practical information from our dataset with some simple mining techniques is extracted and the result of our work is visualised in an interactive web side using modern approaches to data visualisation.
