Implementation of the scheduling domain description model

Abstract: This paper presents the problem of auniform scheduling domain description. It was established that the algorithm used for scheduling is general, disregarding the type of scheduling domain. On the basis of five different scheduling domains, a general description model was developed. The research is focused on the programming application of the resource scheduling model, presented as a UML class diagram. Diverse meta-languages for the model description were considered. Of these XML, an EAV model and object oriented languages have shown to be the most effective. Even though Java is not widely used as a description language, it has proved effective as a meta-language for the description of the extensible scheduling model.

Abstract: Modelling is a crucial tool in research and development, but models simplify oneʼs perception of systems as mental pictures of reality, maybe too much. Therefore one must be aware of the addressed relations, typology of models, and apply 'USOMID - 6 Thinking Hats' method of creative cooperation to attain requisite holism of approach and requisite wholeness of outcomes.

An efficient chain code with Huffman coding

Abstract: This paper presents a new chain code based on the eight-direction Freeman code. Each element in the chain is coded as a relative angle difference between it and the previous element. Statistical analysis showed that the probabilities of the Freeman codes differ importantly. Therefore, the Huffman coding was applied. The proposed chain code requires 1.97 bits/code, its chainlength is small, it allows representation of non-closed patterns and is rotationally independent.

VREDNOTENJE ZMOGLJIVOSTI INTEGRIRANEGA POVPRAŠEVALNEGA JEZIKA LINQ

Abstract: Tematika diplomske naloge zajema predstavitev jezikovno integriranih povpraševanj(LINQ) LINQ predstavlja združen dostop do različnih zbirk podatkov. To pomeni, da do vseh zbirk dostopamo na skoraj identičen način, s čimer se ne rabimo obremenjevati z načinom dostopa in s sintakso brskanja po različnih zbirkah. Če poznamo en jezik, poznamo vse. LINQ je iniciativa podjetja Microsoft, ki ga je integriral v svoje orodje Visual Studio in je na voljo z verzijo C# 3.0 in naprej. Jedro LINQ predstavljajo metode, ki so implementirane v .NET ogrodju. Pri tem se postavlja vprašanje hitrosti in zmogljivosti izvajanja v nasprotju s klasičnim dostopom do podatkov. V diplomskem delu bomo predstavili nekaj pristopov, s katerimi lahko hitrost izvajanja poizvedb LINQ z malo truda bistveno izboljšamo. Poznamo različne tipe LINQ in najpogosteje uporabljene bomo tudi predstavili.

IZMENJAVA PODATKOV IN SINHRONIZACIJA PODATKOVNIH BAZ V POSLOVNEM INFORMACIJSKEM SISTEMU "MOONLIGHT BUSINESS SYSTEM"

Abstract: V diplomskem delu je v osnovi zajeto delovanje prenašanja podatkov v poslovnem informacijskem sistemu MoonLight Business System. Na kratko je predstavljeno programsko okolje in uporabljene tehnologije. Zapisane so primerjave in osnove formatov za prenašanje podatkov in sicer XML, CSV in JSON. Na praktičnih primerih sta predstavljena XML in CSV. Za oba formata je zapisan primer uvoza in izvoza podatkov. Glede na to, da je poslovni sistem povezan z večimi podatkovnimi bazami je potrebna njihova sinhronizacija.
