71. Nanocomposite foams from iron oxide stabilized dicyclopentadiene high internal phase emulsions : preparation and brominationSebastijan Kovačič, Christian Slugovc, Gregor Ferk, Nadejda B. Matsko, 2014, strokovni članek Opis: Nanocomposite polyHIPE foams with open-cellular morphology were obtained using nanoparticles ($γFe_2O_3/Fe_3O_4$), surfactant (Pluronic L121) or nanoparticle/surfactant stabilized dicyclopentadiene high internal phase emulsions (DCPD HIPEs). Upon curing, cavity sizes were found to vary drastically between 950 ± 360 µm down to 7 ±3 µm de- pending on the HIPE formulations. As-obtained nanocomposite polyHIPE foams were functionalized using elemental bromine in THF. Upon bromination the nanoparticles are moved from the cavities surfaces into the bulk phase of the polymer scaffold, which affects the inductive-heating capability of the magnetic nanocomposite foams decreasing it by the factor of 2. 72. Multiple-effect evaporation in aluminosilicate technologyDušan Klinar, Janvit Golob, 2001, strokovni članek Opis: The article presents an engineering approach to the development of an alternative production with the existing equipment. Zeolite production is becoming an alternative to the old »Bayer« process for aluminum hydrate production. By applying appropriate know-how old equipment was used for an economically as well as ecologically acceptable production. In this equipment adaptation among other production steps the multistage evaporation battery was the most critical part of the process. We applied semi empirical approach on the basis of Z. 73. Membranes from polysulfone/N,N-dimethylacetamide/water system : structure and water fluxVladimir Kaiser, Črtomir Stropnik, 2000, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Polymeric membranes were prepared by the wet-phase separation method from solutions of different contents of polysulfone in N,N-dimethylacetamide; solutions were cast in different thickness before immersion into the pure water coagulation bath. Two main processes take place during the formation of membranes: nucleation and growth of the polymer lean phase with subsequent solidification of the polymer rich phase, and the formation of channels, macrovoids and mega-macrovoids. By the first process a cellular structure is formed whilst the second process connects the cells by opening the space between them. The degree of interconnectedness is an additional factor that affects the pure water flux. By changing the cast solution compositions and/or their cast thickness the interconnectedness of the cells can be controlled. 74. Measuring public procurement for innovation on the country level and the role of ICT supportKristina Detelj, Tanja Markovič-Hribernik, Igor Pihir, 2015, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Using of public procurement as a tool for promoting innovations has captured interest of many researchers in recent years. However, most of the research is focused on the impact of public procurement on the company's innovativeness. The article discusses the findings of the literature on this topic and proposes a model on how to transfer the concept from the company level to the level of the whole country. One of the biggest problems is unavailability of appropriate measures of this phenomenon, so the authors suggest that the concept of Public procurement for innovation can be approximated by participation of criterion of the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT). Implementation of this criterion in choosing the best offer can be supported and facilitated by using of ICT which can improve the efficiency of procurement process and enable more innovations. 76. Production of biogas by CSF technologyMaša Knez Marevci, Mojca Škerget, Željko Knez, 2016, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Hydrogen is expected to become an important fuel in the long-term since in combination with fuel cells it offers the opportunity of an intrinsically clean energy supply. By application of supercritical water gasification (SCWG) concept, sustainable hydrogen can be produced from biomass and waste. The paper offers an overview of some recently published papers dealing with SCWG of model compounds and a summary of the investigations on SCWG of real agricultural and food processing wastes. In the frame of our work an intense research was performed to support analyses of SCWG of glycerol and was supported by the investigation of phase equilibrium for the systems gas/water and gas mixtures/water. When glycerol/water solutions were directly injected in the reactor operating at supercritical conditions, gases with high C2+ were obtained by the reforming in supercritical water unit. To reduce the hydrocarbon concentrations and to obtain a syngas with higher CO/CO2 ratios from a mixture of gases (H2, CO, CO2 and CH4), catalytic reactions at high pressure and temperature were introduced reflecting in an increase of the content of H2 and CO. Solubility measurements were conducted for the binary systems of gas and water at elevated pressures and temperatures. 78. Design of a multimodal hearing systemBernd Tessendorf, Matjaž Debevc, Peter Derleth, Manuela Feilner, Franz Gravenhorst, Daniel Roggen, Thomas Stiefmeier, Gerhard Tröster, 2013, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Hearing instruments (HIs) have become context-aware devices that analyze the acoustic environment in order to automatically adapt sound processing to the userʼs current hearing wish. However, in the same acoustic environment an HI user can have different hearing wishes requiring different behaviors from the hearing instrument. In these cases, the audio signal alone contains too littlecontextual information to determine the userʼs hearing wish. Additional modalities to sound can provide the missing information to improve the adaption. In this work, we review additional modalities to sound in HIs and present a prototype of a newly developed wireless multimodal hearing system. The platform takes into account additional sensor modalities such as the userʼs body movement and location. We characterize the system regarding runtime, latency and reliability of the wireless connection, and point out possibilities arising from the novel approach. 79. Borders of communication privacy in Slovenian criminal procedure : constitutional challengesSabina Zgaga Markelj, 2015, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Due to fast technological development and our constant communication protection of communication privacy in every aspect of our (legal) life has become more important than ever before. Regarding protection of privacy in criminal procedure special emphasis should be given to the regulation of privacy in Slovenian Constitution and its interpretation in the case law of the Constitutional Court. This paper presents the definition of privacy and communication privacy in Slovenian constitutional law and exposes the main issues of communication privacy that have been discussed in the case law of the Constitutional Court in the last twenty years. Thereby the paper tries to show the general trend in the case law of Constitutional Court regarding the protection of communication privacy and to expose certain unsolved issues and unanswered challenges. Slovenian constitutional regulation of communication privacy is very protective, considering the broad definition of privacy and the strict conditions for encroachment of communication privacy. The case law of Slovenian Constitutional Court has also shown such trend, with the possible exception of the recent decision on a dynamic IP address. The importance of this decision is however significant, since it could be applicable to all forms of communication via internet, the prevailing form of communication nowadays. Certain challenges still lay ahead, such as the current proposal for the amendment of Criminal Procedure Act-M, which includes the use of IMSI catchers and numerous unanswered issues regarding data retention after the decisive annulment of its partial legal basis by the Constitutional Court. 80. Biology students' teacher opinions about the integration of ICT into the learning and teaching processAndreja Špernjak, 2014, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Biology laboratory work can be performed in various ways, even using information and communication technologies (ICT). Whether a teacher incorporates it into laboratory work is related to different factors, but educators can influence students’ beliefs about the value of ICT through their pedagogical practice. In our study, student teachers of biology gave opinions on how successfully university professors use ICT in the classroom, where they acquired most knowledge about ICT and their attitude towards using of ICT in laboratory work. Student teachers were critical about the knowledge and usage of ICT of university professors in class. During their student teachers mostly failed to acquire knowledge about ICT and practice in incorporating it into daily routines. These results will be presented to our university professors, at which time we will suggest how they could use ICT more effectively in daily practice because, on the one hand, they are responsible for students teacher attitudes and for the level of student teacher knowledge, while, on the others, they precipitate indirectly in forming the pupils’ attitudes and determining the level of the pupils’ knowledge of ICT. The study was done on 85 student teachers of biology. Attitudes toward ICT are statistically significant by gender.
