1. Evolution of domain-specific modeling language: an example of an industrial case study on an RT-sequencerTomaž Kos, Marjan Mernik, Tomaž Kosar, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Model-driven engineering is a well-established software development methodology that
uses models to develop applications where the end-users with visual elements model abstractions
from a specific domain. These models are based on domain-specific modeling language (DSML),
which is particular to the problem domain. During DSML use, new ideas emerge and DSMLs evolve.
However, reports on DSML evolution are rare. This study presents a new DSML called RT-Sequencer
that evolved from our DSML Sequencer to support, in addition to the Data Acquisition domain,
also a new domain—Real-Time Control (RTC) systems. The process of defining models with a new
language RT-Sequencer has changed in a way that new end-users were introduced—advanced endusers, which use general-purpose language (GPL) and advanced programming concepts to define
modeling environments for the RT-Sequencer end-users. More specifically, an industrial experience
with the RT-Sequencer is presented, where DSML was opened for extension so that a GPL code
could be inserted into the model to create new visual blocks for the end-user, and the possibility to
adapt and optimize the execution code for a particular task. Our experience shows the specific case
of DSML evolution supporting another problem domain, and the implementation effort needed to

2. STALITA: innovative platform for bank transactions analysisDavid Jesenko, Štefan Kohek, Borut Žalik, Matej Brumen, Domen Kavran, Niko Lukač, Andrej Živec, Aleksander Pur, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Acts of fraud have become much more prevalent in the financial industry with the rise
of technology and the continued economic growth in modern society. Fraudsters are evolving
their approaches continuously to exploit the vulnerabilities of the current prevention measures
in place, many of whom are targeting the financial sector. To overcome and investigate financial
frauds, this paper presents STALITA, which is an innovative platform for the analysis of bank
transactions. STALITA enables graph-based data analysis using a powerful Neo4j graph database
and the Cypher query language. Additionally, a diversity of other supporting tools, such as support
for heterogeneous data sources, force-based graph visualisation, pivot tables, and time charts, enable
in-depth investigation of the available data. In the Results section, we present the usability of the

3. Avtomatizacija poslovnih procesov s pomočjo platforme camundaJan Alojz Gačnik, 2025, magistrsko delo Opis: Namen magistrskega dela je preučevanje poslovnih procesov in njihove implementacije s
pomočjo programskih rešitev. Seznanili se bomo s stroko upravljanja poslovnih procesov in
BPMN notacijo ter s pridobljenim znanjem pripravili primer procesa in njegovo implementacijo
v programsko rešitev. Kot programsko rešitev bomo izdelali spletno aplikacijo, ki temelji na
ogrodju Spring Boot. Dodatno bomo v aplikacijo integrirali platformo Camunda, ki nam
omogoča načrtane procese vključiti in zaganjati v sami aplikaciji programsko ali s pomočjo
klicev REST. V delu bomo tako predstavili celoten postopek načrtovanja, izdelave in

4. Razvoj uporabniškega vmesnika za vizualizacijo kinematike satelitaTilen Teršek, 2025, magistrsko delo Opis: Trenutna orodja za vizualizacijo kinematike satelitov nimajo intuitivnega uporabniškega vmesnika, ki bi omogočal realnočasovni prikaz njihovega obnašanja. Poleg tega so uporabniki pogosto omejeni na statične podatkovne zbirke ali posplošene tirnice, brez možnosti vizualizacije ključnih vektorjev, kot so magnetno polje, položaj Sonca in orientacija glede na Zemljo.
V magistrskem delu bomo raziskali različne razvojne tehnike za ustvarjanje namiznih aplikacij, pri čemer se bomo osredotočili na gradnjo večplatformnega orodja, namenjenega reševanju zgoraj omenjenih izzivov. Razvita aplikacija bo ponujala interaktiven in uporabniku prijazen vmesnik za vizualizacijo tirnice satelita, sledenje telemetriji ter spremljanje vektorjev, kot so magnetno polje in položaj Sonca. Poleg tega bodo uporabniki imeli možnost analize ključnih metrik, kot so hitrost, orientacija in drugi telemetrijski podatki, kar bo omogočilo celovit pregled nad delovanjem satelita. 5. Klimatsko preizkušanje električnega vezja in napraveNuša Balajc, 2025, magistrsko delo Opis: V magistrski nalogi so predstavljeni različni modeli pospešenih testov in klimatskih komor, v katerih se ti izvajajo. Za izvedbo deseturnega pospešenega testiranja preprostega vezja z LED diodo je bil uporabljen standard IEC 60068-2-38. Med testiranjem so se spremljali vpliv temperature in relativne vlažnosti na upornost predupora in LED diodo. Za namene testiranja ročnega mešalnika je bilo izvedeno HALT testiranje, pri katerem se je preverjala pravilnost delovanja glede na podano specifikacijo proizvajalca. Pri tem testu smo se osredotočili na čas delovanja ročnega mešalnika pri polni hitrosti do pojava odpovednih mehanizmov. 6. Opazovalnik temperature spoja močnostnega modulaRadoslav Pantić, 2025, magistrsko delo Opis: Namen magistrskega dela je zagotoviti bolj natančno oceno temperature spoja MOSFET-tranzistorja v primerjavi z obstoječim pristopom, kar bo omogočilo izboljšanje zmogljivosti motorskega krmilnika. Ta temperatura predstavlja ključno, vendar nedostopno stanje, ki ga ni mogoče neposredno izmeriti. Zato smo razvili predikcijski algoritem, imenovan opazovalnik, ki na podlagi meritev vhodov oziroma faznega toka in temperature na dostopni točki sistema ocenjuje temperaturo spoja MOSFET-tranzistorja. V ta namen smo načrtali termalni model krmilnika, predstavljen kot ekvivalentno električno vezje, in ga nato validirali z uporabo termalnih simulacij v časovni domeni in meritvami. 7. Designing efficient algorithms for logistics management : optimizing timeconstrained vehicle routingKarlo Bala, Martin Fale, Nebojša Gvozdenović, Tomaž Kramberger, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Background: City logistics is a critical component of urban economic development, as it optimizes supply chains, enhances customer satisfaction through reliable deliveries, and minimizes environmental impacts in densely populated areas. This field addresses various challenges, including traffic congestion, environmental concerns, noise pollution, and the crucial need for timely deliveries. Routing and scheduling are central to logistics operations, with modern software integrating time windows to meet precise scheduling demands driven by detailed customer requirements and operational efficiencies. Furthermore, advanced vehicle routing models now effectively simulate real-world factors such as traffic congestion, stochastic travel times, and dynamic product demands. Purpose: This paper aims to develop an algorithm that addresses the routing decisions. Our approach extends to the time dimension, considering travel times and customer service times within predefined time windows. Study design/methodology/approach: The proposed algorithm is structured to execute in iterative phases, aiming to optimize key logistical objectives. In order to generate competitive solutions, we seek to minimize the number of vehicles utilized and overall travel costs. The evaluation of solution space was conducted via Simulated Annealing. Findings/conclusions: The performance of the proposed algorithm, evaluated using the Gehring and Homberger benchmark instances for 200 customers, demonstrates its effectiveness. The algorithm successfully meets the target number of vehicles required, and the associated travel costs are on average within 1% of the best solutions reported in the relevant literature. Limitations/future research: Given the ongoing need for timely solutions from decision-makers, future research endeavors will focus on enhancing the computational efficiency of the algorithm. Additionally, incorporating more time-related features, such as stochastic travel times, could further improve the algorithm's real-time applicability. 8. Using a region-based convolutional neural network (R-CNN) for potato segmentation in a sorting processJaka Verk, Jernej Hernavs, Simon Klančnik, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: This study focuses on the segmentation part in the development of a potato-sorting system that utilizes camera input for the segmentation and classification of potatoes. The key challenge addressed is the need for efficient segmentation to allow the sorter to handle a higher volume of potatoes simultaneously. To achieve this, the study employs a region-based convolutional neural network (R-CNN) approach for the segmentation task, while trying to achieve more precise segmentation than with classic CNN-based object detectors. Specifically, Mask R-CNN is implemented and evaluated based on its performance with different parameters in order to achieve the best segmentation results. The implementation and methodologies used are thoroughly detailed in this work. The findings reveal that Mask R-CNN models can be utilized in the production process of potato sorting and can improve the process. 9. Effect of topological optimisation on the kinetic properties of the kinematic chain : Elektronski virBoštjan Harl, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The paper addresses the importance of topology and shape optimisation on improving the performance of a device operating in a mine industry. The process of increasing the stiffness and the value of the first eigenfrequency of the load-carrying structure will be demonstrated. In order to satisfy both objectives simultaneously, two initial optimisation domain models were introduced. The first was the most commonly used optimisation model with full material, while the second was a model with an initial gyroid lattice structure in the optimisation domain. The results obtained by the optimisation of the load-carrying structure were used to analyse the effect of stiffness and eigenfrequency on the four-bar mechanism path of the coupler point and the reduction of the value of the joint forces of the most loaded links. 24 refs. 10. Behavioral expectations of business school students concerning extreme climate events : regional insights and implications for Southeast EuropeNikša Alfirević, Darko Rendulić, Sonja Mlaker Kač, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Abstract: This article presents the role of environmental attitudes and self-efficacy in shaping the behavioral expectations of business students in Southeast Europe regarding extreme climate events. Conducted across twelve public and private business schools in five countries, the study provides a baseline for comparison with similar empirical research. Using multiple linear regression, we analyze the relationship between the proenvironmental attitudes and environmental self-efficacy to the students’ climate change expectations. Our results indicate that pro-environmental attitudes significantly predict the students’ expectations of extreme climate events, while environmental self-efficacy plays a secondary but statistically significant role. These findings extend the extant literature by focusing on the role of sustainability in business school curricula and the potential positive outcomes of experiential learning methods and approaches.
