Pritrjevanje in varovanje tovora v cestnem prometu

Opis: Magistrsko delo temelji na proučevanju pritrjevanja in varovanja tovora v cestnem prometu v obdobju med leti 2007 in 2016. Pritrjevanje tovora je zelo pomembno z vidika varnosti. Statistični podatki kažejo, da trend prometnih nesreč na območju Republike Slovenije zaradi nepravilnosti pri varovanju tovora narašča. Policija na terenu ugotavlja vedno več kršitev glede pritrjevanja tovora. V Republiki Sloveniji narašča tudi število registriranih novih tovornih vozil. V magistrskem delu smo predstavili in opisali pripomočke za pritrjevanje in varovanje tovora. Večji poudarek smo namenili platnenim pritrjevalnim trakom. Uporabili smo jih kot primer pri izračunih. Opisali smo načine, s katerimi se tovor pravilno pritrdi in varuje v cestnem prometu. Na primerih iz vsakdana smo izračunavali potrebno število pritrjevalnih trakov. Pri tem smo ugotovili, da so poklicni vozniki uporabljali zadostno število pritrjevalnih trakov. Na koncu smo v programu Microsoft Excelu kot rešitev podali model za hitrejše določanje števila potrebnih pritrjevalnih trakov. Model po vnešenih vhodnih podatkih izpiše število potrebnih pritrjevalnih trakov.

Ocenjevanje emisij motornega prometa z uporabo orodij za modeliranje prometa in izpustov (vissim, enviver)

Opis: V magistrski nalogi smo se osredotočili na oceno pričakovanih emisij, ki postaja pomemben izziv načrtovalne stroke in vse pomembnejši dejavnik pri sprejemanju prometno političnih odločitev in načrtovanju prometne infrastrukture. S pomočjo modeliranja in simulacij smo preučili, kako vplivajo različni hitrostni režimi in ukrepi za umirjanja prometa v urbanem območju, na obseg emisij, ki jih povzroča motorni promet. Za bistveno razumevanje praktičnega dela, so v nalogi opisani aspekti in delovanje programskih orodij VISSIM in ENVIVER, ki so bili glavni pripomočki, za ocenjevanje emisij. Magistrska naloga prikazuje model krajšega odseka Koroške ceste v Mariboru, v katerem smo izvajali različne spremembe simulacije prometnega toka in ukrepov za umirjanje prometa. Analiza rezultatov prikazuje nihanje količine emisij, ki jih povzročajo ukrepi za umirjanje prometa in povečanje prometnega toka v urbanih območjih. V nalogi smo se omejili na oceno emisij NOX, PM10 in CO2.

Metode za dimenzioniranje krožnih križišč
Mitja Zrim, 2018, magistrsko delo

Opis: V magistrskem delu smo v začetku podali splošne informacije o krožnih križiščih. Temu je sledila razlaga pojma projektiranje in dimenzioniranje krožnih križišč s prikazom procesa dimenzioniranja v primeru, ko iščemo najprimernejšo rešitev. Navedli smo v katere glavne skupine delimo metode za dimenzioniranje in katere so posebnosti teh skupin. Metod za dimenzioniranje krožnih križišč je dandanes že veliko, zato smo se omejili na avstrijsko, avstralsko, angleško, francosko, nemško, HCM 2016 in HBS 2015 metodo. Podali smo splošen opis teh metod in prikazali postopek izvedbe analize pri posamezni metodi. S pomočjo teoretičnih dejstev smo izvedli teoretično primerjavo metod v smislu, katere vhodne podatke zahteva posamezna metoda, katere rezultate dobimo pri posamezni metodi in podali subjektivno oceno metod. Primerjali smo tudi rezultate izračuna prepustnosti po enačbah vseh prej omenjenih metod za primer enopasovnega krožnega križišča in jih prikazali v grafičnem zapisu. Pri tem smo spoznali, da pri nekaterih metodah prihaja do precejšnjega odstopanja. Metode smo uporabili tudi na dejanskem primeru enopasovnega krožnega križišča, ki se nahaja v Mestni občini Murska Sobota in s pomočjo dobljenih rezultatov izvedli primerjavo z navedbo razlage, zakaj prihaja do razlik v rezultatih, kaj na to vpliva ter navedli priporočila za dimenzioniranje.

The impact of regulation 561/2006 on fleet management viewed through efficient use of drivers' working time

Opis: The introduction of contemporary procedures to fleet management processes has recently changed the work planning and supervision of driver's work activities. Tendencies to control the implementation of driver's work have been present in modem professional practice for quite a long time; however, the equipment available on the market limited its implementation. The intensified development of digital tachographs has, in technical terms, ensured such equipment considerably before the legislative groundwork was prepared for its practical implementation. The Commission Regulation (EC) No. 561/2006 (implementation of Social legislation relating to Road Transport) does not bring any essential novelties in terms of permitted workload. Consistent monitoring of drivers activities, made possible by digital tachographs, will have impact on the existing working methods. The topic of the present paper is in deep analysis of the impact of the mentioned regulation with special emphasis on the conditions for the regulation of the current stage of drivers work and on the expected consequences. The essential importance lies on the expected change in the mentality and approach to planning the driver's activities in the transport process on the part of the carrier: the outcome will eventually result in the efficiency of each individual carrier.

Simulation of crossroad traffic

Opis: It is difficult to find the right tool for making traffic regime models because so many different situations are involved. Simulink has proved to be one of the best. The paper shows the design and the use of components and models in the program Matlab/SIMULINK. It presents the simulation results for the model of a traffic light controlled crossroad and indicates the possibilities for the study of traffic optimisation in junctions.

Real capacity of ropeway transportation subsystem

Opis: The ropeway transportation system plays a major role in mountain resorts. In order to provide a sustainable development of the entire mountain resort system, the real capacity of the ropeway transportation system was set. The real capacity of the ropeway transportation system is one of the indicators of the development harmonisation level of single system elements. The research into this field was carried out at the Road Traffic Centre of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Maribor. The paper deals with the basic points of the topic and the methods used. The know-how transfer of experiences into the Slovenian environment is presented together with the obtained results.

Railway traffic management as a function of the new infrastructure manager

Opis: This article offers a survey of the current decentralised form of railway traffic management within the public railway infrastructure in the The Republic of Slovenia, which is the result of out-of-date and worn-out safety installations of railway stations and railway lines. The article presents a new model of railway traffic management as the basis for efficient activity and harmonization of railway traffic management in the The Republic of Slovenia to the systems of railway traffic management within EU. This article presents the advantages of a centralised system of railway traffic management and demonstrates that the application of this system can solve the problem of decentralized traffic management as a function of the new infrastructure manager.

8.
New approach to determining visibility length on passive protected level railroad crossings

Opis: The paper is based on the question whether the existing (legislation determined) method for determining the visibility length on passive protected level railroad crossings insures the relevant level of traffic safety. It has been recognised that using of such method does not provide stopping of road driver vehicles in front of railroad crossing in all conditions. Based on such conclusion a new approach to determining visibility length on passive protected level railroad crossing is proposed. The new approach is based on the assumption that it is necessary, primarily on level railroad crossings with local roads to recognize the worst possible and expected road and weather conditions. The testing of the proposed method in the real environment has shown that at lower speeds of road vehicles there is almost no difference, and that important benefits are recognised for the speeds of 30 and 50km/h where longer stopping distances of road vehicles have been detected (road vehicle can stop safely in front of a rail crossing) with almost the same visibility lengths. The use of the proposed method could have important impact on the increase of traffic safety on passive protected level railroad crossings.

Model of sustainable growth and development of the cableway transport system in Slovenia

Opis: The cableway transport system is very important for the Slovenian tourist economy. Within the Slovene transport system, the cableway transport subsystem has a specific role because it allows and ensures access to regions which are difficult to access or completely inaccessible by other transport subsystems owing to the configuration of the area. The quality and development of transport services are directly linked to the introduction of new cableways. New technical achievements, which are nowadays used in cableways, all provide greater capacity and higher speed of cableways, which, however, results in their higher maintenance and exploitation costs. The cableway transport system is being developed in Slovenia, but not on principles of sustainable development. This paper presents a model of sustainable growth and development of the cableway transport system in Slovenia based on which it is possible to determine assumptions for future growth so that the Slovene cableway transport system would approach standards of such highly developed systems. The new model includes ten essential elements of this system for which growth rates were calculated.

Model approach to quality provision of public passenger transport

Opis: Modern approach to transportation system research is based on the system theory. System analysis is relevant. Constant transportation technique and technology development caused by the need of conformation to the new market conditions is the basis for such an approach. The model approach for resolving the problems of public passenger transport is provided in a scientific report. The model of quality of passenger transport comprises the submodels which define relevant measures for the provision of passenger transport quality. The synthesis of sub-model for adoption of quality standards, submodel of passenger demands, submodel of operation safety and security and economic submodel construct the model of quality of public passenger transport (PPT). Its evaluation has been carried out using SWOT analysis.
