Uporaba digitalnih dvojčkov za uspešno obvladovanje poslovnih sistemov v slovenskih podjetjihTimotej Hočevar, 2025, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Diplomsko delo obravnava uporabo digitalnih dvojčkov za obvladovanje poslovnih sistemov v Sloveniji. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti stopnjo uporabe tehnologije digitalnih dvojčkov ter prepoznati ključne prednosti, priložnosti in izzive. Področje raziskovanja se osredotoča na digitalne dvojčke kot eno ključnih tehnologij industrije 4.0, saj omogoča optimizacijo, napovedovanje in prilagajanje na tržne spremembe. V sklopu tega je bil pripravljen anketni vprašalnik in poslan zaposlenim v slovenskih poslovnih sistemih. Rezultati analize so pokazali, da 98 odstotkov zaposlenih te tehnologije ne uporablja. Kot glavna razloga za neuporabo sta bila izpostavljena pomanjkanje znanja in nejasne koristi. V diplomskem delu smo razvili model digitalnega dvojčka v poslovnem sistemu. Z njim smo povezali poslovne procese, kot so proizvodnja, trženje, skladiščenje, nabava in distribucija. Rezultat diplomskega dela je SWOT-analiza uporabe digitalnih dvojčkov. Na podlagi raziskave so podane smernice za spodbujanje uporabe digitalnih dvojčkov. Prenova in avtomatizacija procesa testiranja programske opreme v podjetju hrc informacijski inženiring d. o. o.Nejc Skale, 2025, undergraduate thesis Abstract: V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali proces testiranja programske opreme v podjetju HRC informacijski inženiring d. o. o.. Namen naloge je bil analizirati in prenoviti obstoječi proces testiranja in podati predlog za uvedbo avtomatizacije. Delo se nanaša na področje managementa poslovnih procesov in avtomatizacije testiranja. Uporabili smo opisne, analitične in modelirne metode. Najprej smo analizirali obstoječe stanje v podjetju in pripravili arhitekturne ter procesne diagrame ter opisali trenutno stanje. Nato smo izbrali pristop k prenovi, oblikovali načrt uvedbe avtomatizacije ter pripravili strategijo testiranja. Ugotovili smo, da avtomatizacija pomeni dolgoročno priložnost, a je začetna investicija v času in virih velika. Priporočamo postopno uvedbo avtomatizacije in sprotno spremljanje učinkov. Key success factors in digital transformation : fundamentals developed from a bibliometric analysisTilen Medved, Tomaž Kern, Eva Krhač Andrašec, 2025, original scientific article Abstract: The article analyses a multidimensional digital transformation process. Digital transformation is a change or shift in operational and strategic frameworks necessitated by the rapid advancement of digital technology. Digital transformation is more than the implementation of advanced technology, it requires a cultural shift towards constant experimentation and openness to failure. Such changes make the organization agile, efficient, and customer-orientated, with the ability to quickly integrate new, comprehensive data into the entire decision-making and innovation process. The purpose of the research was therefore to analyse the key success factors in digital transformation. The analysis serves as a basis for further theoretical research in this field and for practical implementation in organisational systems. As part of this research, a bibliometric analysis was carried out using the open-source tool VOSviewer. The analysis shows that digital transformation is particularly relevant in the fields of Computer Science; Business, Management and Accounting; and Engineering, namely in Germany, China and the Russian Federation. We have come to the conclusion that the key success factors in digital transformation are as follows: corporate organization and technology, collaboration and cultural change, holistic strategy, leadership and organizational structure, continuous learning and conformity to best practises.

4. Due to increasingly rapid changes in the business environment, the question of which method or technique will have the most significant impact on increasing the organizational system’s competitive advantage is becoming increasingly important. Purpose: In the presented research, we focused on identifying methods and techniques often cited in the literature and most often used in practice as efficient for improving business processes. Methods: We prepared a 4-phase structured review of the available literature and supported the findings with survey research. Results and Conclusion: Based on the results, we designed a set of appropriate, most frequently used, and efficient methods and techniques for improving business processes. The completed research can serve as a starting point for answering the question about the appropriate methods and techniques for the chosen approach. In continuing the research, it would be reasonable to check other properties and the use of methods and techniques. 5. Digitalna transformacija procesa brezkontaktnega preverjanja strank v slovenijiRok Štucin, 2025, master's thesis Abstract: Magistrsko delo raziskuje digitalno transformacijo procesov brezkontaktnega preverjanja osebe med postopkom sprejema nove stranke v sistem podjetja. Raziskave so potekale na primeru slovenskega podjetja, ki je digitalizacijo procesov izvedlo zaradi zakonskih sprememb in želje po bolj učinkovitem in cenejšem procesu. Cilj magistrskega dela je prikazati, da je vpeljava novih tehnologij preverjanja in pregleda strank smotrna odločitev, saj zniža stroške, pohitri proces in podjetjem omogoča dodatne poslovne priložnosti. V teoretičnem delu predstavimo zakonsko podlago, stanje procesa pred digitalizacijo in pričakovane učinke digitalne transformacije.
V praktičnem delu s kvantitativno metodo analiziramo odnos strank do metod brezkontaktnega preverjanja in vzpostavljanja poslovnega razmerja z namenom pridobitve ocene pozitivnega ali negativnega nagiba populacije do procesa v starem ali transformiranem digitalnem stanju. Raziskava rezultatov digitalne transformacije, ki jih je posredovalo podjetje, pokaže pozitiven učinek, saj se je proces po digitalni transformaciji za podjetje pocenil, delež sprejetih vlog pa se je povišal. Odziv strank do procesa nakazuje pozitiven trend, kar je podjetje zaznalo tudi v višji uporabi računov kot pred digitalno transformacijo. Podjetje je sicer zaznalo določena nezadovoljstva v odzivih strank, kar nakazuje, da proces izboljševanja še ni končan. Glede na rezultate raziskave tako povzemamo, da je digitalna transformacija smotrna odločitev za podobna slovenska podjetja, ki želijo svoje storitve nuditi globalni populaciji strank. 6. Hibridno projektno vodenje v javnem zavoduAnže Pavšek, 2025, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Diplomsko delo raziskuje uporabo hibridnih metodologij, ki združujejo tradicionalne in agilne pristope. Namen raziskave je analizirati prednosti in slabosti hibridnega projektnega vodenja ter preučiti, kako lahko tovrstni pristop prispeva k boljšemu izvajanju projektov. Raziskava pokriva področje projektnega vodenja v Javnem zavodu Cene Štupar – Center za izobraževanje Ljubljana, kjer je uspešno izvajanje projektov ključno za doseganje organizacijskih ciljev. Teorija navaja, da hibridno projektno vodenje prinaša številne prednosti, vključno s povečano prilagodljivostjo, izboljšano komunikacijo znotraj projektnih ekip ter višjo uspešnostjo projektov, vendar se je v aplikativnem delu, kjer je bila opravljena raziskava na enem od projektov, pokazalo, da v Javnem zavodu Cene Štupar – Center za izobraževanje Ljubljana uporaba hibridnih metodologij ne bi bila smiselna . Model za ocenjevanje vrednosti projektov razvoja spletnih programskih rešitevNina Milinković, 2024, master's thesis Abstract: V nalogi predstavljamo zasnovo in implementacijo modela multiple linearne regresije v »Podjetju X«, ki se ukvarja z razvojem spletnih programskih rešitev. Model je bil zasnovan za izboljšanje natančnosti pri napovedovanju presežka ur v projektih, kar omogoča boljše planiranje in oceno projektov. S sistematično analizo podatkov iz preteklih projektov in oblikovanjem vprašalnika, ki upošteva ključna področja, kot so «inovativne rešitve in razvoj«, «upravljanje in vodenje«, »infrastruktura in procesi« ter »ocenjevanje in odnosi s strankami«, in pripadajoče parametre smo razvili model, ki omogoča natančnejše planiranje in ocenjevanje prihodnjih projektov. Model multiple linearne regresije smo razvili v skladu s smernicami za razvoj linearnih regresijskih modelov, ki vključujejo preverjanje sedmih ključnih predpostavk ustreznosti modela, ki smo jih v nalogi potrdili. Za validacijo modela smo uporabili metodo validacije s pomočjo prilagojenega koeficienta determinacije in validacijo ponovnega vzorčenja z zamenjavo –, model pa smo testirali na dejanskem primeru projekta v »Podjetju X«. Rezultati validacije s statističnimi metodami kažejo na statistično značilne korelacije v obeh vzorcih, kar potrjuje, da so napovedi modela tesno usklajene z dejanskimi podatki. Validacija na konkretnem primeru pa je pokazala, da uvedba modela multiple linearne regresije uspešno napoveduje presežek ur že pred začetkom projekta. Z napovedjo, ki od dejanskega stanja glede presežka ur odstopa za le 3 odstotke, model zmanjšuje izgube zaradi neoptimalnega napovedovanja ur pri projektih in podjetju potencialno omogoča ustvarjanje dodatnega zaslužka – če seveda podjetje dodatne ure proda. 8. Digital transformation reduces costs of the paints and coatings development processTomaž Kern, Eva Krhač Andrašec, Benjamin Urh, Marjan Senegačnik, 2020, original scientific article Abstract: An essential characteristic of the new product development process is to develop a new marketable product in the shortest possible time with the lowest reasonable costs. Therefore, the key factor of the process is efficiency. The paints and coatings industry development process contain numerous laboratory tests to determine the appropriateness of new formulation. It is proven that digital transformation can reduce the number of laboratory tests and consequently shorten the throughput time of the development process. This raised the question of whether the faster development process also reduces the process’ cost, or they even increase due to information and communication technology implementation. Therefore, the research’s purpose was to determine whether reducing the number of laboratory tests, based on the implementation of information and communication technology (ICT), affects reducing costs in the paints and coatings development process. The conventional process and the redesigned process of paints and coatings development were used as the basis of the research. The comparative analysis of the costs incurred during the development process was made. The analysis compares the types and amount of incurred costs. The article proves that digital transformation has a significant impact on up to 48% on reducing costs of the paints and coatings development process. 9. Comparative analysis of human and artificial intelligence planning in production processesMatjaž Roblek, Tomaž Kern, Eva Krhač Andrašec, Alenka Brezavšček, 2024, original scientific article Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) has found applications in enterprises′ production planning
processes. However, a critical question remains: could AI replace human planners? We conducted a
comparative analysis to evaluate the main task of planners in an intermittent process: planning the
duration of production orders. Specifically, we analysed the results of a human planner using master
data and those of an AI algorithm compared to the actual realisation. The case study was conducted
in a large production company using a sample of production products and machines. We were able
to confirm two of the three research questions (RQ1 and RQ3), while the results of the third question
(RQ2) did not meet our expectations. The AI algorithms demonstrated significant improvement with
each iteration. Despite this progress, it is still difficult to determine the exact threshold at which AI
outperforms human planners due to the unpredictability of unexpected events. Even though AI
significantly improves prediction accuracy, the inherent variability and incomplete input data pose a
major challenge. As progress is made, robust data collection and management strategies need to be
integrated to bridge the gap between the potential of AI and its practical application, fostering the

10. Implementation of the digital sales channel in the coatings industryEva Krhač Andrašec, Marjan Senegačnik, Benjamin Urh, Tomaž Kern, 2021, original scientific article Abstract: The development process in the coatings industry can be shortened by digital transformation, and its costs can be reduced using a technical enabler. However, formulators need up-to-date and comprehensive data on existing and potential ingredients to develop the formulation. We were curious about how to supply formulators with data. The idea was that suppliers of ingredients provide data using the “common enabling technology”. We hypothesize that direct data entry compensates suppliers because they can shorten the sales process and increase sales. We used a survey to select key sales channels in the industry. Detailed process models were designed using structured interviews. We analyzed models using structural and operational indicators. Finally, we formed a new digital sales process and verified it. The results show that the digitally formatted sales process can be shortened by up to 32%. Simultaneously, more potential customers can be accessed using the common technology. Existing sales channels would not be closed down. Nevertheless, the digital sales channel is expected to prove its worth over time and gradually increase its share. The suppliers of ingredients can thus avoid a radical process transformation and the immediate integration of additional information technology into the company information system in such an evolutionary way.
