Uporaba jezika Lunor za razvoj spletnih aplikacij : magistrsko delo

Opis: Hitra in učinkovita gradnja uporabniških vmesnikov postaja vse pomembnejša v sodobnem razvoju spletnih aplikacij. V magistrskem delu je predstavljen razvoj razširitve za razvojno orodje Visual Studio Code ter standard Language Server Protocol, ki sta nam omogočila definicijo domensko specifičnega jezika Lunor. Lunor poenostavlja proces gradnje spletnih vmesnikov z berljivo in s pregledno sintakso, ki se samodejno pretvori v React kodo. Funkcionalnost in uporabnost jezika sta prikazani na primeru spletne aplikacije za vodenje knjige receptov.

Art portfolios in preschool teachers’ initial education as a means of acquiring professional competences and reflective practice

Opis: The study sought to examine the art portfolios of second-year undergraduate students of Early and Preschool Education at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb and their reflections on their own artwork. The aim was to examine how students experience, reflect on and interpret their creative work process. By reflecting, students acquire deeper understanding of art expression and perfect the ability to plan and evaluate visual art activities for implementation in their future work with children. The results show that students whose reflections on their own artwork through portfolios are more detailed show greater levels of self-awareness, creativity and pedagogical competence.

Analysing picture books that challenge gender stereotypes multimodally

Opis: This paper identifies the transitivity strategies used in six picture books that aim to challenge gender stereotypes. They were selected because of the large number of commonalities they share; they are all authentic texts, written in English and were not created for experimental purposes. In addition, the selected stories are intended for children (four to nine years old). The theoretical frameworks adopted are SFL (Halliday 2004) and Visual Social Semiotics (Kress and van Leeuwen 2006, Painter et al. 2013). The findings show that the meaning load carried by embedded images (action plus reaction), together with verbal and mental processes of perception, provides essential cues for fostering progressive gender discourses. The analysis also demonstrates that metonymies are essentially used to highlight important aspects of the plot that challenge gender stereotypes.

The relationship between intercultural sensitivity, world music preferences and preferences for visual artwork from other cultures

Opis: The results do not confirm the influence of the type of secondary education completed on intercultural sensitivity, world music preferences or on preferences for visual artwork from different cultures. Neither was the influence of participants’ year of study on their level of intercultural sensitivity confirmed, but we did confirm that older students show greater preferences for world music and visual artwork from different cultures when compared to younger students. Furthermore, the study confirmed a connection between intercultural sensitivity, on the one hand, and preferences for world music and visual artwork from different cultures, on the other.

Uvedba makra za avtomatizacijo vnosa novih identov v sistem SAP

Opis: V sodobnem poslovnem okolju je optimizacija poslovnih procesov ključna za ohranjanje konkurenčne prednosti. Avtomatizacija ponavljajočih se nalog omogoča podjetjem, da zmanjšajo stroške in povečajo produktivnost, saj se zaposleni lahko osredotočijo na bolj strateške aktivnosti. V diplomskem delu smo raziskali, kako s pomočjo makra avtomatizirati proces vnašanja novih identov v sistem SAP. Cilj je bil izboljšati obstoječi ročni proces vnašanja novih identov z uvedbo makra za avtomatizacijo. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili ERP-sisteme, poudarek pa namenili sistemu SAP in avtomatizaciji procesov z uporabo makrojev. V praktičnem delu smo predstavili obstoječi način dela, ki je ne le zamuden, temveč je pri samem vnosu podatkov veliko možnosti za napake. Nato smo razvili makro, s pomočjo katerega smo proces delno avtomatizirali. Primerjava obeh pristopov je pokazala, da je vnos identov s pomočjo makra veliko učinkovitejši. Poleg prihranjenega časa se je možnost za vnos napak v sistem znatno manjša. Izboljšala se je tudi uporabniška izkušnja. Poleg tega smo ugotovili, da bi lahko z makri avtomatizirali številne druge ponavljajoče se procese v podjetju.

The cognitive aspect of interactive learning and teaching in visual arts education

Opis: The task of contemporary visual arts education is to enable quality interaction among all subjects of the teaching process, through which the students are encouraged to think, imagine, and develop higherorder cognitive activities. The objective of this empirical research study was to verify the differences in the results of students in the control and experimental groups (n=285) regarding their knowledge and understanding of visual arts content. Analysis of the results shows that the students in EG showed significantly better results compared to the students in CG, which means that the interactive model of learning and teaching positively influenced the students' understanding of visual arts content

Student perceptions of the importance of art content and activities in schools of general education and vocational schools in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

Opis: The aim of research was to examine how students in higher secondary education estimate the importance of visual arts subjects for the acquisition of general knowledge and the importance of visual arts for their future profession. The participants (N=605) were students in the third year of higher secondary education. Although the participants in the sample did not attach importance to visual arts for their future professions, they assessed that during their education, activities that necessitated working with their hands helped them in developing their memorization skills and the ability to learn other subjects.

Teacher's competences for using visual response methods in the literary education communication model

Opis: In the article we present the method of visual response to literary texts, using the example of a folk tale from a foreign civilization circle titled "The Story of Caiman". In considering the perceptions of pupils in the 5th grade of elementary school, our goal is to examine teacher competences for developing the pupilsʹ ability to perceive, understand and evaluate literary texts and on this basis, to assess the justification of content integration (JCI) in the curriculum of university teacher education. This problem was observed within the framework of the interdisciplinary connection between literature and fine arts, since it is only possible to achieve optimal use of aesthetically designed text as a didactic tool for the externalization of the learner's dialogue with literary proverbs, thus checking to what extent teachers are trained in these methods (Visual Response Method) in the communication model of literary education.

Using Mark Chagall's visual art in teaching visual arts

Opis: This paper focuses on the importance of visual arts in the education of students, while also analyzing the need for using a work of visual art as material in teaching visual arts. The works of Marc Chagall, one of the most significant artists of the 20th century, were chosen for the purpose of the research. The aim of the paper was to reveal the visual and verbal reactions of students to the works of Marc Chagall in teaching visual arts, using the method of aesthetic transfer and game activities during contact between the students and the artworks. For this purpose, we conducted a study involving students in the first and third grades of the “Spinut” primary school in Split, the Republic of Croatia. Based on the works they made, we confirmed the hypotheses that students would gladly accept the works of Marc Chagall and successfully express themselves when inspired by this artist.

Overview of the use of eye-tracking technology for monitoring consumer views

Opis: Eye-tracking technology has become increasingly popular in studying consumer behavior and decision-making as a part of the marketing research area. The paper highlights the importance of eye tracking in the study of consumer behavior including the use of eye tracking in virtual reality environments, the integration of eye tracking with other physiological measures, and the development of more sophisticated analytical techniques. By observing eye movements and fixations researchers can gain insight into the visual and cognitive processes underlying consumer choices. For this reason, a literature review of relevant studies provides a detailed synthesis of the development of eye-tracking experiments. This paper contributes to the latest findings on consumer behavior in the field of eye-tracking technology.
