1. Integrating participatory approaches and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) for barrier analysis and ranking in urban mobility planningUroš Kramar, Marjan Sternad, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: This study examines the barriers to implementing sustainable mobility strategies in small municipalities by integrating participatory and multi-criteria decision-making methods. A triangulated approach combines the nominal group technique (NGT), focus groups (FGs), and the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to systematically identify, refine, and rank key barriers. The NGT enables stakeholders to list and prioritize barriers individually, ensuring balanced participation. FG discussions then refine and contextualize these barriers, addressing qualitative depth. Finally, the FAHP quantitatively ranks the barriers while accounting for uncertainty in stakeholder judgments. The results highlight systemic constraints, such as financial limitations and regulatory inefficiencies, alongside local challenges like inadequate infrastructure and public resistance. Integrating the NGT, FGs, and the FAHP enhances the analytical rigor by merging structured decision-making with participatory engagement. This methodological innovation strengthens the reliability of barrier assessment and offers a replicable framework for urban mobility planning. The findings underscore the need for locally tailored strategies that balance stakeholder inclusion with structured prioritization, contributing to improved governance in sustainable transport planning. 2. Method for planning, optimizing, and regulating EV charging InfrastructureAmor Chowdhury, Saša Klampfer, Klemen Sredenšek, Sebastijan Seme, Miralem Hadžiselimović, Bojan Štumberger, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The paper presents and solves the problems of modeling and designing the required EV charging service capacity for systems with a slow dynamic component. This includes possible bursts within a peak hour interval. A simulation tool with a newly implemented capacity planning method has been developed and implemented for these needs. The method can be used for different system simulations and simultaneously for systems with high, medium, and low service dynamics. The proposed method is based on a normal distribution, a primary mechanism that describes events within a daily interval (24 h) or a peak hour interval (rush hour). The goal of the presented approach, including the proposed method, is to increase the level and quality of the EV charging service system. The near-optimal solution with the presented method can be found manually by changing the service capacity parameter concerning the criterion function. Manual settings limit the number of rejected events, the time spent in the queue, and other service system performance parameters. In addition to manual search for near-optimal solutions, the method also provides automatic search by using the automation procedure of simulation runs and increasing/decreasing the service capacity parameter by a specifically calculated amount. 3. The impact of managers on successful ERP implementationFranc Ravnikar, 2010, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Lately, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has been implemented in public organizations and organizations without competition in the marketplace. It is the ERP system that is almost as badly needed for the competitiveness and success of those organizations in the marketplace. The main reason lies in the fact that operating costs have to be reduced and the optimization of business processes is an option which nowadays is normally implemented together with new ERP. The success rate of ERP implementation remains very low with up to a 90% failure rate, as it is quoted in a lot of researches. Critical success factors (CSF) which influence successful ERP implementation are identical in all organizations. The main goal of this research is to find out the managers' impact on the critical success factors and thus their impact on the successful ERP implementation. Top management support is the most important critical success factor for successful ERP implementation, regardless of the fact whether the organization is on the market or not. 4. Intelligent design and optimization of machining fixturesDjordje Vukelić, Goran Šimunović, Branko Tadic, Borut Buchmeister, Tomislav Šarić, Nenad Simeunovic, 2016, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: This work presents an integral system for machining fixture layout design and optimization. The optimization module of this system allows determination of optimal positions of locating and clamping elements, which provides required accuracy and surface quality, while at the same time guarantees design of collision-free fixtures. The design module performs selection of required fixture elements based on a set of predefined production rules. Adequate criteria for the selection of fixture elements are defined for locating, clamping, tool guiding, and tool adjustment elements, as well as for fixture body elements, connecting elements and add-on elements. The system uses geometry and feature workpiece characteristics, as well as the additional machining, and process planning information. It has been developed to accommodate machining processes of turning, drilling, milling, and grinding of rotational and prismatic workpieces. A segment of output results is also shown. Finally, conclusions are presented with directions for future investigation. 6. The importance of the affective aspects in the planning of the goals of aesthetic educationOlga Denac, 2004, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci Opis: The paper deals with the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of the goals of aesthetic education in the theory and practice of pre-school and elementary school education. It points out the urge to account for the affective aspect in the formation of the goals of esthetic education. With this research, in which we also included pre-school teachers and those teaching the first grades of elementary school, we wished to produce an empirical study of the problems and particularities which emerge through direct planning of the educational goals of the cognitive, affective and the psychomotor domains and to determine the one which is predominant in the forming of the goals of education in music, arts and dance. The results of the research have shown that the predominant aspect or domain in the formation of educational goals, as far as the teachers were concerned, is the cognitive aspect before the affective and psychomotor ones. The teachers are on the one hand aware of the importance and the expedience of the affective and psychomotor aspects in the forming of goals in the field of esthetic education, yet they have not been considered to such an extent in practice. 7. A model of simulation environment for prediction and optimisation of production processesIgor Drstvenšek, Mirko Ficko, Ivo Pahole, Jože Balič, 2004, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Paper describes means and methods for computer based optimisation of production processes using a new approach based on technological database (TDB) with genetic algorithm incorporated into a database management system (DBMS). The TDB serves as a store of tools and machine tools from which they can be assigned to different work operations. Work operations are basic entities of orders placed into queues. The goal of the model is to find available resources from the TDB in order to empty the queue in shortest time with lowest costs. To this purpose the model consist the technological database whose DBMS includes a genetic algorithm based optimiser. It checks the orders queue and searches for appropriate combinations of tools and machine tools from the TDB, which can be combined into needed work operations. It also performs an optimisation of time and costs according to so called static parameters of tools and machine tools. 9. Intelligent process planning for competitive engineeringValentina Gečevska, Franc Čuš, 2010, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Process planning is one of the key activities for product design and manufacturing. The impact of process plans on all phases of product design and manufacture requires high level of interaction of different activities and close integration of them into a coherent system. This paper presents a process model of product development with manufacturing approach based on intelligent process planning techniques with focus on optimal selection of manufacturing parameters. Some derivations of the computing model for analysis of machining conditions by optimal determination of the cutting parameters in multi-pass NC machining activities are made with implementation of new evolutionary computation techniques. Genetic Algorithm (GA) based optimization method and deterministic optimization method (DO) are developed and then implementations into real manufacturing process planning for new product developed are analyzed. The results showed that both the developed optimization methods (GA and DO), especially GA, are effective methods for solving multi-objective optimization problems during the manufacturing process planning and cutting parameters selection.
