ORGANIZACIJA IN NAČRTOVANJE NABAVE EMBALAŽNIH MATERIALOV V KRKI D.D.
Polona Sladič, 2009, diplomsko delo

Opis: V svoji nalogi so opredeljene teoretične osnove nabavnega poslovanja in so primerjane s praktičnim primerom nabavnega poslovanja v podjetju Krka, d.d., Novo mesto (v nadaljevanju Krka). Na začetku je predstavljeno podjetje Krka, njen začetek in razvoj, njene dejavnosti in poslovanje v letu 2008.
Ključne besede: - nabava - planiranje nabave - MRP (Material Requirement Planning) sistem - informacijski sistem SAP (Systems, Applications and Products) - informacijski sistem APO (Advanced Planning and Optimisation

OPTIMIRANJE DOBAVNE VERIGE V PODJETJU B/S/H HIŠNI APARATI, D.O.O., NAZARJE
Romana Markelj, 2009, diplomsko delo

Opis: V diplomskem delu sem predstavila optimiranje dobavne verige v podjetju EUREL Poljčane. V empiričnem delu sem predstavila podjetje B/S/H Hišni aparati, osnovne podatke o podjetju, kratek zgodovinski oris podjetja, proizvodni program ter politiko in strategijo podjetja.

Intelligent process planning for competitive engineering
Valentina Gečevska, Franc Čuš, 2010, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Process planning is one of the key activities for product design and manufacturing. The impact of process plans on all phases of product design and manufacture requires high level of interaction of different activities and close integration of them into a coherent system. This paper presents a process model of product development with manufacturing approach based on intelligent process planning techniques with focus on optimal selection of manufacturing parameters. Some derivations of the computing model for analysis of machining conditions by optimal determination of the cutting parameters in multi-pass NC machining activities are made with implementation of new evolutionary computation techniques. Genetic Algorithm (GA) based optimization method and deterministic optimization method (DO) are developed and then implementations into real manufacturing process planning for new product developed are analyzed. The results showed that both the developed optimization methods (GA and DO), especially GA, are effective methods for solving multi-objective optimization problems during the manufacturing process planning and cutting parameters selection.

Application of group technology in complex cluster type organizational systems
Slobodan Morača, Miodrag Hadžistević, Igor Drstvenšek, Nikola Radaković, 2010, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: The aim of this research was to contribute to the development of structural design procedures of complex - cluster type organizational systems. Industrial clusters can help companies to improve their own market positions, effectiveness, productivity and product quality. Organization of the production process in a company is an extremely complex process itself, and when it is transferred to the cluster level, the result is a complex task which is difficult to solve. For that purpose, this paper analyses the conditions and possibilities that would enable those structures to adapt to changes in the surroundings - flexibility and management adequacy of production and organizational structures - by lowering the degree of complexity. For the time being, no simple models which would enable an increase of process effectiveness in complex organizational units like clusters have been developed. One of the possible solutions which would decrease the complexity of flows and increase process effectiveness within an industrial cluster is the application of Group approach.

2-local 3/4-competitive algorithm for multicoloring hexagonal graphs
Petra Šparl, Janez Žerovnik, 2005, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: An important optimization problem in the design of cellular networks is to assign sets of frequencies to transmitters to avoid unacceptable interference.A cellular network is generally modeled as a subgraph of the infinite triangular lattice. Frequency assignment problem can be abstracted asa multicoloring problem on a weighted hexagonal graph, where the weights represent the number of calls to be assigned at vertices. In this paper we present a distributed algorithm for multicoloring hexagonal graphs using only the local clique numbers ▫$omega_1(v)$▫ and ▫$omega_2(v)$▫ at each vertex v of the given hexagonal graph, which can be computed from local information available at thevertex. We prove the algorithm uses no more than ▫$4omega(G)/3$▫ colors for any hexagonal graph G, without explicitly computing the global clique number ▫$omega(G)$▫. We also prove that our algorithm is 2-local, i.e., the computation at a vertex v ▫$in$▫ G uses only information about the demands of vertices whose graph distance from v is less than or equal to 2.

A model of simulation environment for prediction and optimisation of production processes
Igor Drstvenšek, Mirko Ficko, Ivo Pahole, Jože Balič, 2004, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Paper describes means and methods for computer based optimisation of production processes using a new approach based on technological database (TDB) with genetic algorithm incorporated into a database management system (DBMS). The TDB serves as a store of tools and machine tools from which they can be assigned to different work operations. Work operations are basic entities of orders placed into queues. The goal of the model is to find available resources from the TDB in order to empty the queue in shortest time with lowest costs. To this purpose the model consist the technological database whose DBMS includes a genetic algorithm based optimiser. It checks the orders queue and searches for appropriate combinations of tools and machine tools from the TDB, which can be combined into needed work operations. It also performs an optimisation of time and costs according to so called static parameters of tools and machine tools.
