1. The impact of information systems on project success in a hybrid work environment: evidence from the world's largest consulting firmMarko Samardzic, Teodora Vuckovic, Danijela Ciric Lalic, Iztok Palčič, Uglješa Marjanović, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: This study investigated the impact of information systems (IS) success on Project Success (PS) within hybrid and remote work environments, drawing empirical evidence from the world's largest consulting firm. By integrating the DeLone and McLean IS success model with established PS frameworks, the research examined how IS components—system quality, user satisfaction, and use/ intent to use—influence key PS dimensions: project management success, impact on the team, impact on the customer, and project investment success. Data from 198 employees were analyzed using structural equation modeling, confirming all hypothesized relationships. Results revealed that IS net benefits significantly enhance PS across all dimensions, while system quality and user satisfaction further drive IS effectiveness. The study underscores the critical role of robust digital infrastructure in optimizing project outcomes, offering theoretical insights and practical recommendations for organizations navigating hybrid work models. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed. 2. Perception of document management systems in digital transformation : VIII.Sandra Jordan, Samo Bobek, Simona Sternad Zabukovšek, 2025, samostojni znanstveni sestavek ali poglavje v monografski publikaciji Opis: Document Management Systems (DMS) are essential tools for managing organisational information throughout its lifecycle. Despite increasing adoption, many DMS implementations fail to deliver the expected value due to inadequate attention to Critical Success Factors (CSFs). This monograph investigates the impact of selected CSFs—such as top management support, process orientation, and organisational culture—on different phases of the DMS lifecycle: selection, implementation, and usage. Drawing on the ITIL framework and lifecycle-based thinking, the study employs a quantitative methodology using PLS-SEM on data collected from Slovenian organisations. The results show that CSFs vary in importance across lifecycle stages, highlighting the need for dynamic, phase-specific implementation strategies. The findings contribute to theory by integrating CSFs with DMS lifecycle management and provide actionable insights for practitioners seeking to optimise DMS adoption and performance. 3. Identifying the critical success factors for the introduction of an asset management system : a Delphi study in the healthcare sectorDamjan Maletič, Justyna Trojanowska, Matjaž Maletič, 2025, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Purpose: For decades, attention has been paid to standardized management
systems, both in academia and in practice. This study focuses on an asset
management system (AMS), specifically the key critical success factors (CSFs)
for implementing an AMS in healthcare organizations.
Methodology/Approach: The study is based on a Delphi method with 15
participants from various Slovenian healthcare organisations who validated and
defined the most important CSFs.
Findings: The study shows a strong consensus among the experts with regard to
specific CSFs in the areas of management and leadership, employee competencies
and methods and tools for process improvement.
Research Limitation/Implication: The Delphi study method is based on a
selected sample of experts, which could have an impact on the generalizability and
replicability of the research.
Originality/Value of paper: This study provides a better understanding of CSFs
for the implementation of AMS based on the opinion and consensus of experts
holding different positions and professions in healthcare. As this topic has received
little attention in healthcare research and practice, this study serves as a preliminary
study to stimulate future work in this under-researched area. Ključne besede: asset management system, standardization, critical success factors, healthcare, Delphi Objavljeno v DKUM: 28.08.2025; Ogledov: 0; Prenosov: 2

5. Multicriteria assessment of the quality of waste sorting centers - ǂaǂ case studyKarmen Pažek, Jernej Prišenk, Simon Bukovski, Boris Prevolšek, Črtomir Rozman, 2020, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: In this paper, the quality of the municipal waste sorting process in seven waste management centers in Slovenia was assessed using the qualitative multicriteria analysis (MCA) method DEX (Decision EXpert) implemented in DEXi software, which is based on multicriteria decomposition of the problem and utility functions in the form of ʺif-thenʺ decision rules. The study was based on eight types of secondary raw materials. The quality of the secondary raw materials, the regularity of the delivery of secondary raw materials to recycling units based on the sorting efficiency, and the loading weight of the individual baled fractions in the transport of secondary raw materials for recycling were the main parameters used in the model. The final assessment shows good waste management service in centers A and D. Centers B, C, and F were rated ʺaverageʺ. The ʺbadʺ rating was assigned to centers E and G. 7. Organizational maturity and sustainability orientation influence on DMS life cycle : case analysisSandra Jordan, Simona Sternad Zabukovšek, 2023, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The topic of the article addresses the management of the document management system (DMS), which represents one of the important steps for organizations to speed up the implementation of business processes, achieve better control over documents, and ensure safer operations. When implementing and using DMS, the importance of the organization’s maturity shall not be forgotten, as it gives the organization a framework to evaluate and improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s DMS, which can contribute to better decision-making and increased productivity. On the other hand, sustainable-oriented organizations are likely to show interest in choosing, implementing, and using DMS. In the article, the impact of an organization’s maturity and the role of sustainability on the DMS lifecycle are researched. Results are presented based on a case analysis of Company X. Supporting the case analysis, structured interviews with the project leader on the clients’ and the project leader on the providers’ side have been performed, which shall give a deeper insight into DMS implementation and the importance of sustainability and organizational maturity, resulting in more successful DMS implementation and use. 8. Managing document management systems’ life cycle in relation to an organization’s maturity for digital transformationSimona Sternad Zabukovšek, Sandra Jordan, Samo Bobek, 2023, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Document management systems (DMS) have become an important topic regarding digital transformation in organizations because they enable paperless business, speed up processes, lower business costs, and support sustainability activities in organizations. DMSs should be considered as green technology and also as technology crucial for green digital transformation. Sustainability is becoming increasingly crucial for organizations and society, and DMSs, along with paperless business, can contribute to the sustainable orientation of organizations. However, the problem with DMS implementations is that they often fail and that DMS users often use DMSs at a basic level, which means that, among other things, they still prefer to print documents rather than use electronic documents. A framework that can contribute to a better implementation and a higher level of use of DMSs, which both lead to a more green digital transformation of the organization, represents an organization's maturity. We used the Process and Enterprise Maturity Model (PEMM) to assess the organization's maturity level concerning the DMS' life cycle. Findings are presented from the research study. The research study was based on a questionnaire and collected data from DMS users. The research study showed that an organization's maturity impacts the DMS' life cycle. Organizations that manage the DMS' life cycle will better cope with digital transformation and sustainability issues related to paperless business.
