Use of animated songs in early teaching of English and GermanJanja Stariha
, 2019, magistrsko delo
Opis: This MA thesis deals with animated songs and their use in early foreign language teaching. In the theoretical part I have described child development, first and second language acquisition, multimedia, foreign language teaching and the use of songs in the classroom. As the literature on animated songs has not yet been developed, I have turned to theory on multimedia, music and art to formulate a set of criteria for easier choice of animated songs for use in class. In the empirical part I have chosen some high quality, didactically apropriate animated songs. Content, sound, music, text, design, animation, multimedia learning theories, art theory and didactics were taken into account. The final part of the paper shows the results of a questionnaire that was forwarded to Slovenian teachers who teach children aged 3–11 to see to what extent they know and use animated songs. Nowadays acces to songs is no longer a problem so it is important for teachers to know how to evaluate multimedia materials. There are both favorable opinions and cautions regarding technology use in childhood, so good judgement is needed. The choice and use of animated songs in the young learner classroom should be didactically justified.

, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci
Opis: Ensuring adequate quality of hydraulic oil and planning its
change is crucial for a stable and smooth operation of many industrial
machines. The best reliability can certainly be provided by using
continuous monitoring of hydraulic oils, which is usually carried out
remotely by means of modern online sensors.
Nevertheless, the development and implementation of such a system
represents a unique challenge, since the measurement of the oil
condition is much more complicated than measuring usual operating
parameters, such as pressure or temperature.

Ivan Grohar and Oskar DevFranc Križnar
, 2014, izvirni znanstveni članek
Opis: The new Grohar’s room in the Škofja Loka Museum that is located in a more than a thousand years old town, some kilometres northwest of Ljubljana, Slovenia, represents one of the new possibilities to popularize old local history. Ivan Grohar (1867−1911) is one of the four well-known Slovenian painters from the beginning of the 20th century, together with Rihard Jakopič, Matija Jama and Matej Sternen. These Slovenian painters are the founders of Impressionism within the modern style. Škofja Loka became the so called Slovenian “Barbizon” (i.e. French village near Fontainebleau, once the settlement of painters) and this art and old tradition inspired another Slovenian (music) artist Oskar Dev (1868−1932), who composed some of his musical works (songs and choirs) in Škofja Loka, too. His and Grohar’s period in Škofja Loka resulted in some extraordinary art works i.e. paintings and musical works. They both were inspired by the countryside that reflected on their works. This is now one of the new Slovenian’s challenges of museology and musicology in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach so the art of painting and music could be a benefit for the visitors of this and other museums.

Borders of communication privacy in Slovenian criminal procedureSabina Zgaga
, 2015, izvirni znanstveni članek
Opis: Due to fast technological development and our constant communication protection of communication privacy in every aspect of our (legal) life has become more important than ever before. Regarding protection of privacy in criminal procedure special emphasis should be given to the regulation of privacy in Slovenian Constitution and its interpretation in the case law of the Constitutional Court. This paper presents the definition of privacy and communication privacy in Slovenian constitutional law and exposes the main issues of communication privacy that have been discussed in the case law of the Constitutional Court in the last twenty years. Thereby the paper tries to show the general trend in the case law of Constitutional Court regarding the protection of communication privacy and to expose certain unsolved issues and unanswered challenges. Slovenian constitutional regulation of communication privacy is very protective, considering the broad definition of privacy and the strict conditions for encroachment of communication privacy. The case law of Slovenian Constitutional Court has also shown such trend, with the possible exception of the recent decision on a dynamic IP address. The importance of this decision is however significant, since it could be applicable to all forms of communication via internet, the prevailing form of communication nowadays. Certain challenges still lay ahead, such as the current proposal for the amendment of Criminal Procedure Act-M, which includes the use of IMSI catchers and numerous unanswered issues regarding data retention after the decisive annulment of its partial legal basis by the Constitutional Court.

The Modernized Characters of the Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood in Neil Gaiman's Picture Book The Wolves in the WallsSilvija Kunst Berčič
, 2016, diplomsko delo
Opis: The aim of this thesis is to investigate the influence of traditional fairy tales to contemporary stories for children and to compare their features. The thesis mainly focuses on the characters of Little Red Riding Hood and Lucy who is the protagonist in Gaiman’s picture book The wolves in the walls. Furthermore, the thesis discusses two Slovene variant versions of the fairy tale of Little Red Riding and deals with the issue of fear in modern stories. Another focus of interest are the stylistic devices which the author uses to increase and decrease the tension in the narrative. Since The Wolves in the Walls is a picture book, the thesis is interested in illustration and deals with the question how pictures and words act upon each other in this picture book.

Prevajanje kulturno pogojenih izrazov v humoristični nanizanki Modern familyMarina Škvorc
, 2016, diplomsko delo

Some of the main factors of innovative renewal of companies' operationsIgor Hustič
, Matjaž Mulej
, 2010, izvirni znanstveni članek
Opis: Problems cannot be solved by the mentality that has caused them, such as neglecting the non-technological innovation. Often, innovative renewal of companies' operations is urgently needed. Overcoming the consequences of the global economic and financial crisis cannot be successful without innovation of the values, culture, business ethics and norms of all their important stakeholders. We suggest a new synergy of methods aimed at renewal of business processes in an innovative way by using the dialectical systems theory approach. We combine BSC, ISO 9000, the method 'learning company' and USOMID. Literature so far has not made it clear that those approaches can complement each other and jointly contribute to renewal of business operations according to the requirement of the requisite holism.

SAMODEJNI ZAJEM IN VIZUALIZACIJA PODATKOV Z WINDOWS MODERN UIDomen Hrastnik
, 2013, diplomsko delo
Opis: V diplomskem delu smo predstavili operacijski sistem Windows 8, njegove različice in novosti. Ena izmed glavnih novosti so aplikacije z uporabniškim vmesnikom Modern UI. Če želimo razviti uspešno Windows 8 aplikacijo, se moramo držati določenih načel, ki jih narekuje Modern UI, zato smo podrobneje predstavili ta oblikovalski jezik. Za razvoj teh aplikacij potrebujemo razvojno orodje Microsoft Visual Studio 2012. Predstavili smo njegove različice in glavne novosti.
