Survey of accomplishments in BIM implementation in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, and SloveniaMario Galić, Vaclav Venkrbec, Franziska Chmelik, Immo Feine, Zoran Pučko, Uroš Klanšek, 2017, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Building information modelling (BIM) may currently be considered the fastest developing concept in the field of construction management, aiming to become a global standard. Although the roots of the concept date back to the mid-1970s, some original expectations are still missing from its implementation. There has been a time gap between its theoretical and practical implementations. While the simultaneous development of information technologies is one reason for the implementation delay, other reasons remain unclear. This paper analyzes the gaps between theoretical and practical BIM application, as well as the legislation regarding BIM implementation in four countries (in alphabetical order: Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Slovenia). The paper additionally presents a survey of current practical BIM applications as well as general and theoretical feedback from construction projects that implemented BIM.

2. Usage of agile SCRUM methodology on configuration management applicationŽeljko Stanojević, 2017, magistrsko delo/naloga Opis: The purpose of the master thesis is to research and determine how to successfully manage a project using agile methodology Scrum. Scrum methodology will be used to improve the functionality of existing internally developed software solutions.
Scrum, being an agile methodology, is an alternative approach to the traditional waterfall methodology, and is typically used in software development. Agile methodologies help teams respond to a project’s unpredictability by using incremental, iterative way of work known as sprints.
The first part of the master’s thesis presents a problem, defines goals and methods used, and the necessary tools required to achieve the objectives.
The following part of the thesis presents the foundations of agile methodologies and describes the used methodology – Scrum - in detail.
In the practical part, the thesis presents the existing software solution and opportunities for its improvement. We use Scrum for upgrading existing application, including all the attributes of the mentioned methodology, from team design to artifacts and events.
The thesis also presents a renewed application in detail. In conclusion, by using the SWOT analysis we observe suitability for use of the Scrum methodology in the case of renewal of application and propose further changes to improve the application.

3. A primary human critical success factors model for the ERP system implementationAleksander Jenko, Matjaž Roblek, 2016, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Background and Purpose: Many researchers have investigated various Critical success factors (CSFs) and the different causes of ERP implementation project failures. Despite a detailed literature preview, we were unable to find an appropriate research with a comprehensive overview of the true causes behind CSFs, observed from a human factors perspective. The objective of this research was therefore to develop and evaluate the Primary human factors (PHFs) model and to confirm the significant impact of PHFs on traditional CSFs and on the project success.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The comprehensive PHFs research model was developed and examined in empirical quantitative research with the use of available literature and the application of the Root cause analysis. A survey was conducted in various Slovenian organisations in different branches that had previously implemented the ERP system SAP. The model was verified on a sample of 21 experts from 18 organisations.
Results: The results show that the PHFs have a significant positive impact on the ERP implementation project success, but only the Competence and Team composition factors are significant linear predictors in an adapted regression model and contribute significantly in predicting project success. These results therefore confirm both proposed hypotheses and the adapted regression model.
Conclusion: This study improves the understanding of PHFs and confirms that they have a significant impact on traditional CSFs and the ERP implementation project success. The proposed PHFs model offers project managers and other stakeholders an effective risk assessment of CSFs and is leading the way to human oriented model of ERP implementations.

4. Business Intelligence system implementation at a health services providerUroš Malnaršič, 2016, diplomsko delo Opis: Business Intelligence (BI) is important to any company wanting not only to improve their processes and data quality, but above all their decision-making. The scale of BI systems implementations ranges from small to large. A rule of thumb is that it is the end users who define the scope of an implemented BI solution. After all, a BI project and solution can only be considered successful if they are used after completion.
There are several vendors of BI tools and solutions who share a basic foundation, yet whose implemented solutions differ in approach, flexibility and enhancement options. However, they all share the challenges faced by the BI industry since its inception, from Big Data to Predictive Analytics and Data Discovery, to name just a few.
In this study, an American vendor of BI tools and solutions, Information Builders, is examined. They have been a market player for forty years and have influenced the development of this industry both directly and indirectly.
The main part of the research comprises a case study of a BI system implementation at a health services provider in the Netherlands. By providing insight into a BI implementation project and its successes and failures, the study is able to analyse every aspect of its management and consider the possibilities and functionalities offered by Information Builders’ WebFOCUS platform to solution developers and end users. Furthermore, the study analyses influence of Information Builders’ best practice on the success of the BI implementation project.
