Razvijanje bralne pismenosti predšolskih otrok na podlagi izvirne slikanice : diplomsko delo

Opis: V diplomskem delu je predstavljena slikanica kot posebna oblika knjige. Njena posebnost se izraža skozi prepletanje dveh kodov sporočanja in njunega vsebinsko-oblikovnega odnosa. Tako dobi bralec del informacij o zgodbi skozi besedilo in del iz ilustracij. Glede na to, v kolikšni meri bralec pridobi informacije iz besedila in v kolikšni iz ilustracij, ločimo tri kategorije, in sicer simetrično, komplementarno in stopnjevano interakcijo. Predstavljena je tudi avtorska zgodba o dečku Maksu, ki mu nesreča en dan pred njegovim rojstnim dnem prekriža načrte. Zaradi poškodbe ni mogel praznovati s prijatelji tako, kot si je zamislil. Kljub vsem zapletom pa je na koncu ugotovil, kaj v življenju resnično šteje. V praktičnem delu je predstavljena in analizirana izvedba dejavnosti v vrtcu, in sicer v dveh skupinah različno starih otrok. Otroci so po branju odgovarjali na vprašanja, pri njihovih odgovorih pa so bile med skupinama opazne določene razlike.

Optical characteristics of directly deposited gold nanoparticle films

Opis: The manuscript presents the optical properties of directly deposited films of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) prepared by the Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis (USP) technology. Four samples were produced, with AuNP deposition times on the glass substrate of 15 min, 30 min, 1 h and 4 h. The morphological characterisation of the deposited films showed that the size of the first deposited AuNPs was between 10 and 30 nm, while, with a longer duration of the deposition process, larger clusters of AuNPs grew by coalescence and aggregation. The prepared layers were characterised optically with Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy (UV–vis) and ellipsometry. The ellipsometric measurements showed an increasingly denser and thicker effective thickness of the AuNP layers. The extinction spectra displayed a clear local surface plasmonic resonance (LSPR) signature (peak 520–540 nm), indicating the presence of isolated particles in all the samples. For all AuNP layers, the imaginary part of the parallel and perpendicular components of the anisotropic dielectric function was dominated by a central peak at around 2.2 eV, corresponding to the LSPR of isolated particles, and a high-energy shoulder due to Au interband transitions. It was shown that, as the density of particles increased, the extinction cross-section grew over the whole spectral range where measurements are taken. Thus, the response can be explained with an enhanced electromagnetic response between the AuNPs that can be connected to the increase in particle density, but also by the formation of clusters and irregular structures.

Vpliv posttravmatske stresne motnje na posameznika

Opis: Uvod: Posttravmatska stresna motnja velja za najpogostejšo posledico ob izpostavljenosti posameznika travmatični izkušnji. Posttravmatska stresna motnja je opredeljena takrat, ko začetni simptomi travme ne izzvenijo in trajajo dlje kot en mesec. Tako posledično vpliva tudi na kakovost življenja in v posameznikov vsakdan prinaša soočanje s posledicami. Metode: V zaključnem delu smo uporabili sistematičen pregled literature. Rezultati: Spoznali smo, da je posttravmatska stresna motnja od uradne uvedbe diagnoze bolje razumljena in raziskana. Kljub dodatnemu znanju pa je opaziti omejen uspeh na področju zdravljenja, saj večina posameznikov ne prejme ustrezne pomoči ali pa njihovo zdravljenje ni optimalno. Razprava in sklep: Raziskave kažejo, da je vpliv travmatične izkušnje na posameznika neizogiben, vseeno pa lahko vplivamo na njen izid z ustrezno pomočjo in pravilnim soočanjem travmatizirane žrtve s travmatičnim dogodkom. Ob tem je poudarjena vloga medicinske sestre, saj se lahko na vseh področjih zdravstvene oskrbe sreča s travmatizirano osebo. Pri tem je pomembno, da medicinska sestra prepozna simptome posttravmatske stresne motnje in vzpostavi zaupen odnos s posameznikom, ki mu je težko govoriti o srečanju s travmo, ter tako odpira pot do zdravljenja. Ob tem ne smemo pozabiti, da so prav delavci na čelnih linijah nudenja prve pomoči visoko rizično izpostavljeni travmi in posledično posttravmatski stresni motnji.

Notranja motivacija pri rutinskih dejavnostih in nadarjenost : diplomsko delo

Opis: Diplomska naloga z naslovom Notranja motivacija pri rutinskih dejavnostih in nadarjenost nam bo predstavila, kako pomembno vlogo imajo vzgojitelji pri odkrivanju nadarjenosti v predšolskem obdobju ter predvsem opazovanje tega, kako so nadarjeni otroci motivirani za rutinske dejavnosti, ki so velik del ne samo vrtca, vendar na sploh pomembna v življenju. Prav o tem bomo govorili v diplomski nalogi, katera je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. Na začetku teoretičnega dela predstavljamo nadarjenost, kako jo prepoznamo, kdo so nadarjeni otroci, kakšne lastnosti imajo ter kakšne vrste motivacije pri njih zasledimo. V nadaljevanju je predstavljena motivacija, vrste motivacije ter različni deli dnevne rutine s katerimi se otroci srečujejo vsakodnevno v vrtcu. Opredeljena je vloga vzgojitelja, kaj je njegova naloga in kaj predstavlja delo z nadarjenimi otroci. V empiričnem delu bomo izvajali dejavnosti v vrtcu pri OŠ Lovrenc na Pohorju, s katerimi bomo v petih dneh poskušali ugotoviti kaj pri rutinskih dejavnostih otroke najbolj pritegne ter predvsem katere otroke. Ugotavljamo tudi, kako krepimo medvrstniško pomoč ter spodbujanje vsakega otroka.

Time and potential-resolved comparison of copper disc and copper nanoparticles for electrocatalytic hydrogenation of furfural

Opis: Herein, a comparative analysis of two case example catalysts for electrocatalytic hydrogenation (ECH) of furfural under acidic conditions, namely a copper polycrystalline disc and copper nanoparticles dispersed on carbon support, is performed. To gain a detailed insight on ECH trends, a task-specific methodology is employed based on electrochemistry–mass spectrometry coupling, which enabled time- and potential-resolved detection of volatile ECH products, i.e., 2-methylfurane (2-MF) and H2. In this way, the ability to elucidate potential-dependent product distribution for the two catalysts, namely faradaic efficiency, is achieved. Accordingly, the nanoparticulate analog is significantly more active toward competitive hydrogen evolution reaction and 2-MF production, whereas the polycrystalline sample is more selective toward furfuryl alcohol. The observed differences in ECH are ascribed to alterations in surface domains, which is supported by surface-sensitive lead underpotential deposition characterization.

Study of ▫$Ni/Y_2O_3/polylactic$▫ acid composite

Opis: This study demonstrates the successful synthesis of Ni/Y2O3 nanocomposite particles through the application of ultrasound-assisted precipitation using the ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technique. They were collected in a water suspension with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as the stabiliser. The presence of the Y2O3 core and Ni shell was confirmed with transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and with electron diffraction. The TEM observations revealed the formation of round particles with an average diameter of 466 nm, while the lattice parameter on the Ni particle’s surface was measured to be 0.343 nm. The Ni/Y2O3 nanocomposite particle suspensions were lyophilized, to obtain a dried material that was suitable for embedding into a polylactic acid (PLA) matrix. The resulting PLA/Ni/Y2O3 composite material was extruded, and the injection was moulded successfully. Flexural testing of PLA/Ni/Y2O3 showed a slight average decrease (8.55%) in flexural strength and a small decrease from 3.7 to 3.3% strain at the break, when compared to the base PLA. These findings demonstrate the potential for utilising Ni/Y2O3 nanocomposite particles in injection moulding applications and warrant further exploration of their properties and new applications in various fields.

A conceptual model for a circular city : a case study of Maribor, Slovenia

Opis: Cities play a crucial role in achieving sustainable development. Decision-makers require assistance in developing city transformation plans amidst the emergence of various city models. A content analysis using concept mapping was conducted to examine smart, circular, and green city models. The analysis, supported by Leximancer, revealed that city models are evolving by adopting benefcial solutions from competitors, refecting a strong focus on sustainable development. Additionally, twentyfour research areas essential for implementing a circular city were identifed and validated. Furthermore, a conceptual model for a circular city was developed, incorporating the Defne-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control tool and a problem-solving system. Testing the model on Maribor highlighted challenges in monitoring the transition towards circularity. The study validates the established model but emphasises the need for further research and case studies to verify its practicality. This scientifc research enhances the understanding of city models and their evolution towards sustainability, providing valuable insights for decision-makers and urban planners.

The complexity and interconnectedness of circular cities and the circular economy for sustainability

Opis: In our study, we are evaluating the dynamic interplay between circular cities and the circular economy, revealing connections shaped by new research insights, using Web of Science database. We have in depth analysed 671 publications from 1990 to mid- 2023, employing Leximancer and VOSviewer tools. Our analysis uncovered key themes, including buildings, waste management, value chains, and sustainable development, linking the circular cities concept and circular economy framework. Emerging research trends, such as urban metabolism, urban mining, governance models, the built environment, sustainability benchmarks, and value chain management, signify deliberate shifts towards higher circular development and implementation. These trajectories harmonise with overarching sustainable development goals. Contemporary research emphasises urban mining, circular indicators, adaptive resource reuse, and urban structure regeneration. This focus facilitates transitioning from linear models to heightened circularity within urban contexts. Research inclination is shifting from traditional economic and environmental concerns towards holistic urban configurations that prioritise social integration, communal well-being, and the dynamics of the social economy. Through this analytical expedition, we offer novel insights that enhance our understanding of the intricate symbiosis between circular cities and the circular economy. Our findings provide a scientific foundation for formulating targeted strategies by decision-makers and guiding urban landscapes towards transformative trajectories aligned with sustainable development objectives and sustainable cities.
