Stereotipi o medgeneracijskem sodelovanju v podjetjih : študija primerov slovenskih podjetij
Ula Mejaš, Mitja Ruzzier, Miha Škerlavaj, 2014, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Na trgu dela so danes štiri generacije in nanje so vplivali zelo različni dogodki.

Opis: The present scientific monograph was formed on the occasion of the anniversary celebrated in the academic year 2017/2018 by current and former members of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business Economics, and the members of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management at the University of Maribor. Twenty-five years – a quarter of a century – is a period after which it is worth looking back on the past and summing up the memories of the achievements and milestones that have marked it. The monograph is also an acknowledgment and tribute to the initiator and founder of the first study track for entrepreneurship education, and the head of the Department and Institute, Professor Doctor Miroslav Rebernik. The collection of selected scientific contributions is thus put together in such a way that he is the co-author of all of them, with individual members of the Department. A collection was created that chronologically presents some of the most visible contributions of the 25-year period. We would like to thank all publishing houses that approved the reprint of the contributions.

Outline of implemented eco-innovation activities : the case of clusters of South Eastern European region
Jana Hojnik, Mitja Ruzzier, Aleš Lipnik, 2014, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Background and Purpose: Providing a win-win situation for enterprises and the environment is raising the importance of eco-innovation. This article sheds light on the eco-innovation activities implemented within the clusters of the South Eastern European region (hereafter the SEE region). The main objective of this paper is to provide an outline of the situation pertaining to the implementation of eco-innovation activities in analyzed clusters. Methodology: Empirical evidence is provided through the performance of survey research with a sample of 52 clusters, encompassing 11 countries of the SEE region. The basic research method used in this research was a questionnaire developed for cluster organizations, with which we gathered the data and afterwards conducted descriptive statistics. Results: The findings demonstrate that the majority of analyzed clusters implement eco-innovation activities. The results indicate that 40 clusters out of 52 in all have set objectives with regard to eco-innovation support in their national or regional programs, followed by 35 clusters, which include objectives related to eco-innovation in their cluster strategies, and lastly, only 15 clusters are primarily focused on eco-innovation. Hence, our study depicting the current situation regarding the implementation of eco-innovation activities in analyzed clusters and clusters' orientation towards eco-innovation leads to us the discussion of why such differences in clusters occur. Conclusion: The huge differences related to the implementation of eco-innovation activities in clusters of the SEE region, can also reflect the level of the national/regional development in terms of economic indicators such as GDP and, at the same time, offer room for a lot of improvement, and an exchange of best practice.

Analyzing the process of patent aubmission with a special emphasis on the phases of the research process : the case of Slovenia
Mitja Ruzzier, Tine Nagy, Robert Ravnihar, 2009, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: This article presents some findings about the process of patenting of Slovenian and foreign researchers in scientific research. Based on the reviewed literature and with help of our conceptual model, we establish that the patenting process can be divided into three separate phases: knowledge detection phase, knowledge dissemination phase and knowledge transfer phase. During the process of researching and patenting, a variety of factors affect the results, which can be divided into two groups: internal and external factors. In Slovenia, patents are statistically significant for researchers working and exploring in the fields of natural science and engineering. Research results in the form of a patent largely depend on financial support and work experiences of individual researchers or research groups. The commercialization of a patent means a successful ending of the research process, as many positive benefits are expected.
Ključne besede: researchers patenting activity, researchers patenting productivity, process of innovation, patenting process, patent driving forces, patent driving areas, academic entrepreneurship

Slovenska podjetja in značilnosti start-up ekosistema : Slovenski podjetniški observatorij 2015

Da bi bolje spoznali slovenska start-up podjetja in start-up ekosistem ter ključne izzive za izboljšave, smo s pomočjo primarnih podatkov v raziskavo vključenih 156 start-up podjetij s povprečno starostjo 2,1 leta analizirali značilnosti slovenskih start-up podjetij in start-up ekosistema.
Ključne besede: podjetniška demografija, EU-28 nefinančni sektor gospodarstva, primerjalna analiza, start-up podjetja, star-up ekosistem
