Motivacija za izobraževanje v podjetju x

Opis: V današnjem poslovnem okolju je neprekinjeno izobraževanje ključno za vzdrževanje konkurenčne prednosti podjetja ter osebni in profesionalni razvoj zaposlenih. Diplomsko delo proučuje področja in oblike izobraževanj ter motivacijske dejavnike in ovire, s katerimi se srečujejo zaposleni v podjetju X. Namen dela je bil seznaniti se s trenutnim zadovoljstvom zaposlenih na področju izobraževanj, določiti ključne motivatorje, ki spodbujajo zaposlene k udeležbi na izobraževanjih, ter hkrati prepoznati morebitne ovire, ki jih pri tem zadržujejo. V diplomskem delu smo uporabili metodo deskripcije, kvantitativno metodo s primarnimi podatki, kjer smo anketirali s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, teoretično metodo, metodo kompilacije in statistično metodo. Rezultati kažejo, da so zaposleni s trenutnim stanjem izobraževanja zelo zadovoljni. Kot najpomembnejše motivacijske dejavnike smatrajo razvoj novih veščin, osebno rast in razvoj ter osebno zadovoljstvo med zaposlenimi v podjetju X. Poleg tega so zaposleni navedli, da jim pomanjkanje časa predstavlja največjo oviro pri izobraževanju in poudarili, da kljub temu ohranjajo visoko zagnanost do izobraževanja. Zaposleni so izkazali največje zanimanje za izobraževanja s poudarkom na učenju tujih jezikov in pridobivanju tehničnih veščin, pri čemer so kot najbolj zaželene oblike izobraževanja navedli seminarje in izobraževalne programe, izvedene izven podjetja.

Opis: The motivation of adult learners in the workplace is an area of research that focuses on understanding the factors that influence adults' desire to engage in learning activities within an organizational context. We studied various internal and external factors that contribute to the motivation of adult employees to acquire new knowledge, skills, and competencies to accelerate their professional development and career advancement. Understanding the motivations of adult learners at work is crucial for organizations that want to design effective learning programs. With other factors, such as intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, perceived relevance, and goal orientation, organizations can develop strategies that promote and sustain employee motivation. This can ultimately lead to improved engagement, performance, and professional growth among employees.

Motivacija zaposlenih za dodatno izobraževanje v podjetju X

Opis: V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali in raziskovali motivacijo za izobraževanje zaposlenih v podjetju X, ki je eden največjih trgovcev z urami in modnim nakitom v regiji. Ker podjetje X deluje v panogi, kjer se povpraševanje in ponudba dnevno spreminjata ter je obenem konkurenca zelo močna, je treba zaposlene ustrezno izobraževati za doseganje boljših poslovnih rezultatov. Namen diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti, kaj najbolj motivira ali ovira zaposlene pri izobraževanju ter na katerih področjih in kdaj bi si želeli izobraževanja. Za željo po dodatnem izobraževanju sta pri posamezniku ključna spodbudna motivacija in jasen razlog za udeležbo. Diplomsko delo zajema teoretično opredelitev motivacije, izobraževanja in obstoječih motivacijskih teorij. V nadaljevanju sledijo predstavitev podjetja X ter izvedba raziskave in diskusija rezultatov. V teoretičnem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo in metodo kompilacije, medtem ko smo v empiričnem delu s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika proučevali stanje v podjetju X. Pridobljene rezultate smo nato prikazali v tabelah in grafih z uporabo različnih statističnih metod. Ob koncu diplomskega dela smo odgovorili na raziskovalna vprašanja. Ugotovili smo, da zaposlene za dodatno izobraževanje najbolj motivirata osebno zadovoljstvo in prispevek k lastnemu razvoju. Največjo oviro predstavlja preobremenjenost. Zaposleni bi si želeli pridobiti največ znanja na področju tujih jezikov in komunikacijskih veščin. Najraje bi se izobraževali v službenem času, v obliki praktičnih delavnic, predavanj in skupinskih izobraževanj. Podatki bodo podjetju X v pomoč pri odločitvi, na katera izobraževanja naj se osredotoči in kdaj naj jih začne izvajati. Prav tako bomo pridobili informacije o tem, katera področja in oblike zaposleni najbolj potrebujejo.

Optimization-based downscaling of satellite-derived isotropic broadband albedo to high resolution

Opis: In this paper, a novel method for estimating high-resolution isotropic broadband albedo is proposed, by downscaling satellite-derived albedo using an optimization approach. At first, broadband albedo is calculated from the lower-resolution multispectral satellite image using standard narrow-to-broadband (NTB) conversion, where the surfaces are considered Lambertian with isotropic reflectance. The high-resolution true orthophoto for the same location is segmented with the deep learning-based Segment Anything Model (SAM), and the resulting segments are refined with a classified digital surface model (cDSM) to exclude small transient objects. Afterwards, the remaining segments are grouped using K-means clustering, by considering orthophoto-visible (VIS) and near-infrared (NIR) bands. These segments present surfaces with similar materials and underlying reflectance properties. Next, the Differential Evolution (DE) optimization algorithm is applied to approximate albedo values to these segments so that their spatial aggregate matches the coarse-resolution satellite albedo, by proposing two novel objective functions. Extensive experiments considering different DE parameters over an 0.75 km2 large urban area in Maribor, Slovenia, have been carried out, where Sentinel-2 Level-2A NTB-derived albedo was downscaled to 1 m spatial resolution. Looking at the performed spatiospectral analysis, the proposed method achieved absolute differences of 0.09 per VIS band and below 0.18 per NIR band, in comparison to lower-resolution NTB-derived albedo. Moreover, the proposed method achieved a root mean square error (RMSE) of 0.0179 and a mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of 4.0299% against ground truth broadband albedo annotations of characteristic materials in the given urban area. The proposed method outperformed the Enhanced Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Networks (ESRGANs), which achieved an RMSE of 0.0285 and an MAPE of 9.2778%, and the Blind Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Network (BSRGAN), which achieved an RMSE of 0.0341 and an MAPE of 12.3104%.

Procedure for the determination of the appropriate protective foil size to reduce step voltage using a FEM model and evolutionary methods

Opis: When a fault occurs in a power transmission system, voltages that are dangerous to people may occur. The aim of this work is to present the following method of protection: the use of protective foil installed at the appropriate depth around the transmission pole. Moreover, a procedure is presented for determining the optimal size of the protective film using a minimum number of finite element method calculations. In addition to the finite element method, evolutionary methods are used to determine the appropriate coefficients. Real earthing system data, earth data, and the fault current are obtained from the Slovenian system operator (ELES, d.o.o.) and used exclusively in the presented analyses. The results of determining the appropriate size of the protective foil for two transmission poles are presented, and the determination of the required breakthrough strength of the materials used is shown. The suitability of the proposed method is confirmed. This method is practical and useful when protection with protective foil is required, ensuring only as much as necessary is applied.

Opis: A search for double-heavy tetraquark state candidates Xccs¯s¯ decaying to Dþ s Dþ s and Dþ s Dþ s is presented for the first time using the data samples of 102 × 106 ϒð1SÞ and 158 × 106 ϒð2SÞ events, and the data samples at ffiffi ps ¼ 10.52, 10.58, and 10.867 GeV corresponding to integrated luminosities of 89.5, 711.0, and 121.4 fb−1, respectively, accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy electron-positron collider. The invariant-mass spectra of the Dþ s Dþ s and Dþ s Dþ s are studied to search for possible resonances. No significant signals are observed, and the 90% confidence level upper limits on the product branching fractions [Bðϒð1S; 2SÞ → Xccs¯s¯ þ anythingÞ × BðXccs¯s¯ → Dþ s Dþ s ðDþ s Dþ s ÞÞ] in ϒð1S; 2SÞ inclusive decays and the product values of Born cross section and branching fraction [σðeþe− → Xccs¯s¯ þ anythingÞ × BðXccs¯s¯ → Dþ s Dþ s ðDþ s Dþ s ÞÞ] in eþe− collisions at pffiffis ¼ 10.52, 10.58, and 10.867 GeV under different assumptions of Xccs¯s¯ masses and widths are obtained.

Assessing the effects of a hydropower plant basin on fish spawning in an upstream river tributary

Opis: This paper presents a combined modeling approach to evaluate the ecological effects on the habitat of an upstream tributary of a river with a series of hydropower plants. The influence is investigated of the last planned hydropower plant to be built, which has a large impact on the river ecosystem. The new hydropower plant basin will affect the tributary with hydropeaking in the upstream basin. A simulation was conducted of spawning conditions for two protected fish species. The analysis combined a hydro-morphological model with a fish module that considers the water depth and velocity necessary for fish reproduction. The different river discharge scenarios were simulated, incorporating the hydropeaking effects of the new hydropower plant basin on the upstream tributary. With the new hydropower plant, sustainable measures are planned to prevent the damaging negative impacts that could lead to the degradation of the river ecosystem and the destruction of the existing ecosystem at the river’s confluence. The results indicate that, after the hydropower plant begins operation, the habitat`s suitability will decrease, and the planned sustainable measures will not provide a fully satisfactory solution.

Strategije in pristopi večanja odpornosti in prožnosti oskrbovalnih verig

Opis: Visokošolski učbenik "Strategije in pristopi večanja odpornosti in prožnosti oskrbovalnih verig" je celovit vodnik, namenjen podpiranju večanja odpornosti pri oskrbi in izboljšavam znotraj logstičnih procesov. Poudarek je na modernih pristopih in konceptih večanja odpornosti, strategijah za nabavo, distribucijo, oceni ergonomskega okolja in izobraževanju o soodvisnosti posameznih členov oskrbovalne verige s sočasnim povečevanjem dodane vrenosti in produktivnosti zaradi večje odpornosti in prilagodljivosti v logističnih podjetjih. Interdisciplinarni pristop združuje znanja iz več področij –management, logistika, distribucija, ergonomija, nabava in delo z ljudmi Bralci so opremljeni s praktičnimi znanji in veščinami za izboljšanje odpornosti in prilagodljivosti posameznih procesov. Učbenik pokriva teme, kot so: Strategije za oskrbovalno verigo in povečanje odpornosti; 2) Mestna logistika; 3) Večanje zavedanja o pomeni oskrbovalnih verig; 4) Strateški nabavi; 5) Pametni distribuciji in 6) Ergonomiji na delovnem mestu v logistiki. Celotna vsebina je usmerjena v krepitev kompetenc za odpornost, ki so ključne za zeleni in digitalni prehod logističnih podjetij in močnejše gospodarstvo EU temelječe na odpornih oskrbovalnih verigah.

MFUM-BrTNBC-1, a newly established patient-derived triple-negative breast cancer cell line : molecular characterisation, genetic stability, and comprehensive comparison with commercial breast cancer cell lines

Opis: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a breast cancer (BC) subtype that accounts for approximately 15–20% of all BC cases. Cancer cell lines (CLs) provide an efficient way to model the disease. We have recently isolated a patient-derived triple-negative BC CL MFUM-BrTNBC-1 and performed a detailed morphological and molecular characterisation and a comprehensive comparison with three commercial BC CLs (MCF-7, MDA-MB-231, MDA-MB-453). Light and fluorescence microscopy were used for morphological studies; immunocytochemical staining for hormone receptor, p53 and Ki67 status; RNA sequencing, qRT-PCR and STR analysis for molecular characterisation; and biomedical image analysis for comparative phenotypical analysis. The patient tissue-derived MFUMBrTNBC-1 maintained the primary triple-negative receptor status. STR analysis showed a stable and unique STR profile up to the 6th passage. MFUM-BrTNBC-1 expressed EMT transition markers and displayed changes in several cancer-related pathways (MAPK, Wnt and PI3K signalling; nucleotide excision repair; and SWI/SNF chromatin remodelling). Morphologically, MFUM-BrTNBC-1 differed from the commercial TNBC CL MDA-MB-231. The advantages of MFUM-BrTNBC-1 are its isolation from a primary tumour, rather than a metastatic site; good growth characteristics; phenotype identical to primary tissue; complete records of origin; a unique identifier; complete, unique STR profile; quantifiable morphological properties; and genetic stability up to (at least) the 6th passage.

Commercial SARS-CoV-2 targeted, protease inhibitor focused and protein–protein interaction inhibitor focused molecular libraries for virtual screening and drug design

Opis: Since December 2019, the new SARS-CoV-2-related COVID-19 disease has caused a global pandemic and shut down the public life worldwide. Several proteins have emerged as potential therapeutic targets for drug development, and we sought out to review the commercially available and marketed SARS-CoV-2-targeted libraries ready for high-throughput virtual screening (HTVS). We evaluated the SARS-CoV-2-targeted, protease-inhibitor-focused and protein–protein-interactioninhibitor-focused libraries to gain a better understanding of how these libraries were designed. The most common were ligand- and structure-based approaches, along with various filtering steps, using molecular descriptors. Often, these methods were combined to obtain the final library. We recognized the abundance of targeted libraries offered and complimented by the inclusion of analytical data; however, serious concerns had to be raised. Namely, vendors lack the information on the library design and the references to the primary literature. Few references to active compounds were also provided when using the ligand-based design and usually only protein classes or a general panel of targets were listed, along with a general reference to the methods, such as molecular docking for the structure-based design. No receptor data, docking protocols or even references to the applied molecular docking software (or other HTVS software), and no pharmacophore or filter design details were given. No detailed functional group or chemical space analyses were reported, and no specific orientation of the libraries toward the design of covalent or noncovalent inhibitors could be observed. All libraries contained pan-assay interference compounds (PAINS), rapid elimination of swill compounds (REOS) and aggregators, as well as focused on the drug-like model, with the majority of compounds possessing their molecular mass around 500 g/mol. These facts do not bode well for the use of the reviewed libraries in drug design and lend themselves to commercial drug companies to focus on and improve.
