Modeliranje prenosa sedimenta v akumulacijskem jezeru Melje : diplomsko delo

Opis: Nestanovitnost dežja pojasnjuje neenakomerno porazdelitev količine vodnih virov skozi vse leto. Z gradnjo jezov in akumulacijskih jezer želimo izravnati to ne enakomerno porazdelitev vodnih virov in s tem povečati zagotovljenost vode. Akumulacijska jezera se najpogosteje izkoriščajo kot skladišča pitne vode ali shrambo hidroelektrične energije. Takšen jez ne predstavlja ovire le vodi v reki ampak tudi sedimentu, ki ga reka prenaša dol vodno. Sediment se začne kopičiti v rezervoarju in s časom zniža kapaciteto shranjene vode v rezervoarju in s tem škodi glavni vlogi rezervoarja; shranjevanju vode. Sedimentacija je glavni problem vzdrževanja akumulacijskih jezer saj ga je treba redno odstranjevati. Odstranjevanje sedimenta iz akumulacijskega jezera ni enostavno, razmisliti moramo o tem kje ga bomo odstranili, v kolikšni količini (vsega ali le delno) in v kakšnih časovnih razmakih je odstranjevanje najbolj ekonomično. Diplomska naloga se navezuje na sedimentacijo v akumulacijskem jezeru Melje. Z izdelavo hidravličnega modela v programski opremi HEC-RAS ugotavljamo vpliv usedlin na tok v reki Dravi in oblikujemo smernice za odstranjevanja sedimenta v rezervoarju. Simulacije so pokazale, da se na tem območji najbolj splača prečrpavanje sedimenta v kanal. Potrebno bo dodatna študija za potrditev sklepa.

Digitalna transformacija v logistiki in managementu oskrbovalnih verig

Opis: Visokošolski učbenik "Digitalna transformacija v logistiki in managementu oskrbovalnih verig" je celovit vodnik, namenjen podpiranju digitalizacije in digitalnih pristopov v logistiki. Poudarek je na digitalizaciji procesov, uporabi orodij za za digitalno obdelavo podatkov in simulacije ter na avtonomnih vozilih ter strojnem učenju v logističnih procesih in kibernetski varnosti. Interdisciplinarni pristop združuje znanja iz več področij - računalništva, informatike, mehatronike, strojnega učenja in simulacijskih postopkov ter poslovnega odločanja, kar omogoča celovito razumevanje izzivov digitalne logistike in aplikacijo uporabnih znanj tudi na področja izven logistike in oskrbovalnih verig. Bralci so opremljeni s praktičnimi znanji in veščinami za izboljšanje učinkovitosti, preglednosti posameznih procesov. Učbenik pokriva teme, kot so: 1) Digitalizacija procesov - načrtovanje; 2) Digitalizacija procesov - izvedba; 3) Poslovno-informacijski sistemi; 4) Simulacije in digitalni dvojčki; 5) Avtonomna vozila v logistiki in 6) Informacijska varnost. Celotna vsebina je usmerjena v krepitev digitalnih kompetenc, ki so ključne za uspešno upravljanje sodobnih logističnih podjetij in odpornih oskrbovalnih verig.

Post-fault energy usage optimization for multilevel inverter with integrated battery

Opis: This paper presents a novel sorting algorithm for modular multilevel inverters (MMCs) with integrated batteries, designed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of electric vehicles (EVs) under post-fault conditions. The proposed system structure consists of an MMC with four full-bridge modules per phase, where one module acts as a spinning reserve during normal operation. The algorithm addresses a single switch fault per phase by operating the faulted module in half-bridge mode, ensuring all batteries remain operational and maintaining full power output and battery capacity without any noticeable changes for the vehicle operator. Unlike conventional fault-tolerant strategies that often reduce power output or disable affected modules, the proposed algorithm isolates the faulty switch while preserving system output. This approach avoids derating and eliminates the need for immediate maintenance, enabling the EV to continue operating under fault conditions. Simulation and experimental results validate the effectiveness of the algorithm under a single switch fault scenario, demonstrating its ability to maintain autonomy and consistent power delivery. This work demonstrates a fault-tolerant MMC principle, offering a robust and scalable solution for enhancing reliability and user satisfaction in EV power systems.

Investicija v mobilno klavnico za prašiče študija primera : diplomsko delo

Opis: V nalogi obravnavamo investicijo v mobilno klavnico za klanje prašičev. Klavnica bo prilagojena potrebam lokalnih rejcev in povečevanju učinkovitosti kmetijskih procesov. Cilj je vzpostaviti storitve, ki omogočajo human in učinkovit zakol neposredno na lokaciji rejcev, kar zmanjšuje stroške prevoza, stres živalim za zakol in težave omejenih možnosti zakola v razpoložljivih tradicionalnih klavnicah. V delu naloge, ki se dotika finančne analize projekta so predstavljeni ključni vidiki poslovnega načrta vključno s primerom izračuna skupnih prihodkov, stroškov in finančnega rezultata, kar omogoča oceno ekonomske upravičenosti projekta. Raziskava, ki je bila opravljena med njenimi potencialnimi uporabniki, potrjuje, da so ti zainteresirani za storitve mobilne klavnice, še posebej za njene dodatne storitve, med katere sodi razsek mesa. Večina anketiranih je pripravljena sodelovati s sosednjimi kmeti, kar bi še povečalo učinkovitost in finančno pokritost storitve. Analiza stroškov in koristi izkazujeta, da je projekt lahko donosen ob ustreznem nadzoru nad stroški in prilagoditvi cen storitev. Možnosti za nadaljnje raziskovalno delo se nanašajo na analizo različnih metod zakola in obdelave mesa ter raziskovanje vpliva storitve na dobrobit živali. Rezultati naloge so v praksi uporabni za izboljšanje dostopnosti in kakovosti storitev za rejce, s čimer bi lahko mobilna klavnica prispevala k večji konkurenčnosti in k trajnostnemu razvoju lokalnega kmetijstva.

On-line foreign object detection using double DD coils in an inductive wireless power transfer system

Opis: This paper proposes an on-line method for foreign object detection in a double DD coil system. The foreign object is detected by real-time measurement of the mutual inductance between the transfer pads. Measurement of the mutual inductance between coils can be performed at the start, during initialisation, or during the wireless power transfer. The coils in the double DD coil structure can be used separately; one coil can be used for power transfer and the other can be used for the mutual inductance measurement. The mutual inductance measurement is based on the voltage measurement across the open circuit receiver coil. The measured value of mutual inductance between the transmitter and the receiver pad can be used in a control algorithm and in a foreign object detection algorithm. Additionally, a 2DDq coil structure can be used as a replacement for the double DD coil structure, which increases the power transfer density. The DD coils in the double DD coil structure can also be driven using two phase-shifted voltages, which enables better location and detection of foreign objects. The method also helps to differentiate the mutual inductance change due to the distance change from the mutual inductance change due to the presence of a foreign object.

3D platform for coupling coefficient evaluation of an inductive power transfer systems

Opis: This paper presents a custom-made, computer-connected, and controlled 3D platform that enables the evaluation of the coupling coefficient between the transmitter and receiver coil parts of an inductive wireless power transfer (IPT) system. The platform includes a computer application, a 3D positioning mechanism, and an inductance measurement circuit. The positioning mechanism moves the coils to the point in 3D space, and the inductance circuit measures the mutual inductance between the transmitter and the receiver coil. The measured value can be used to calculate the coupling coefficient between the transmitter and the receiver coil. The data are sent to the computer for further visualisation. The transmitter and the receiver coil can be evaluated by measuring the coupling coefficient between them in multiple points in space. Measurements performed with the platform can be used in the design and evaluation phases of inductive wireless power transfer systems and to extrapolate the polynomial function of the coupling coefficient in relation to the distance between coils or their misalignment.

Magnetic flux density measurement platform for an inductive wireless power transmitter coil design

Opis: This paper presents a platform developed for automated magnetic flux density measurement. The platform was designed to be used to measure the magnetic flux density of the transmitter/receiver coil of an inductive wireless power transfer system. The magnetic flux density of a transmitter was measured using a small, 3-axis search coil. The search coil was positioned in the 3D space above the transmitter coil using a 3D positioning mechanism and used to measure the magnetic flux density at a specific point. The data was then sent to a computer application to visualize the magnetic flux density. The measured magnetic field could be used in combination with electromagnetic field solvers to design and optimize transmitter coils for inductive wireless power transfer systems.

Control of an inductive power transfer system using a double coil structure

Opis: This paper presents the design of the control of the system using a double DD coil structure. The double DD coil is a layered coil structure that consists of two single DD coils, rotated to each other by 90◦. A large-signal and small-signal model of the proposed IPT system are designed for control synthesis. The small-signal model is derived from the large-signal using harmonic approximation and the extended describing functions (EDF). For the small-signal model, voltage and current control schemes were proposed for the purpose of wireless battery charging. The robustness of the control is tested on a small-scale IPT system using double DD coils and resistive load. The results are evaluated at different reference voltages, currents, loads and coupling coefficients.

Energy intake models for intermittent operation of dead-end microfiltration filling line

Opis: In filling lines equipped with membrane separation devices in the form of filters energy, consumption is only one of the important working parameters, the other being sustainable filter performance in terms of separation efficiency. As the filling line is typically equipped with a valve, intermittent operation of the filter is an important form of its use. Whereas the overall energy consumption of the filtration process is governed by the continuous operation mode, the intermittent mode, characterised by opening/closing of the valve, contributes most to problems of filter failure, i.e., the breakthrough of filtered particles through the membrane. A model for determination of the energy intake of a microfiltration membrane during the opening and closing of a valve is presented in this work. The model is based on computational analysis of the pressure wave signals recorded during the opening/closing of the valve using Fourier transform, and expressed in a nondimensional filter area specific energy intake form. The model is applied to a case of constant pressure dead-end microfiltration with three filter types: a single membrane filter, a stacked filter and a pleated filter with filtration surface areas ranging from 17.7 cm2 to 2000 cm2. Both clean filters, as well as partially clogged filter cases are taken into account. Second order polynomial models of the energy intake are developed and evaluated based on extensive analysis of the experimental data. The analysis of energy intake results show that the largest energy intake was observed for the clean filter case. When membrane fouling occurs at the constant flow rate values it leads to larger energy intake, however, due to a decreasing specific flow rate during fouling these values do not exceed the clean filter case.
