DEJAVNIKI, KI VPLIVAJO NA NAČRTOVANJE KARIERE ŠTUDENTOV

Opis: Načrtovanje kariere je proces, ki se mora začeti čim bolj zgodaj. Eden najpogostejših modelov načrtovanja kariere omenja naslednje stopnje: določitev kariernih cijev, samooceno (ocenitev lastnih znanj, interesov, vrednot, veščin, prednosti in slabosti ipd.), raziskovanje oziroma zbiranje informacij o področju, ki nas zanima, in pripravo načrta za dosego zastavljenih ciljev. Vsak posameznik sam prevzema odgovornost za svojo kariero, vendar študenti kljub temu večkrat odgovornosti glede svoje kariere prepuščajo drugim, kar posredno zmanjšuje zadovoljstvo in kasnejšo kakovost dela. V diplomski nalogi smo zato predstavili zgodovino kariere, osnovna pojmovanja kariere, karierne teorije, karierne dejavnike, poklicno orientacijo, model Scheinovih kariernih sider in razvoj kariere. V raziskovalnem delu smo raziskovali ali študenti načrtujejo svojo kariero, ali obstajajo razlike pri načrtovanju kariere med spoloma in ali obstajajo razlike v načinu študija pri načrtovanju kariere. Ugotovili smo, da študenti načrtujejo svojo kariero in da so karierno usmerjeni. Študenti so mnenja, da dovolj časa posvetijo načrtovanju lastne kariere in si postavljajo karierne cilje. Večjih razlik med spoloma ni. Razlike so se pokazale v načinu študija, saj večje število izrednih študentov več časa posveti načrtovanju kariere, prav tako jih je več mnenja, da so karierno usmerjeni.

BREZPOSELNOST PRVIH ISKALCEV ZAPOSLITVE V OBČINI KRANJ

Opis: Vsak človek se v svojem življenju sreča z iskanjem prve zaposlitve. V današnjih časih je to precej zahteven proces, saj živimo v času gospodarske krize, ko nekatera podjetja propadajo, spet druga ne zaposlujejo nove delovne sile. Možnosti zaposlitve so tako zelo omejene. V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na registrirano brezposelnost prvih iskalcev zaposlitve v občini Kranj. Prvi iskalci zaposlitve so mladi, ki prvič vstopajo na trg dela po zaključenem izobraževanju, imajo formalno izobrazbo, pogosto pa nimajo primernih delovnih izkušenj, ki jih delodajalci zahtevajo za določeno delovno mesto. Diplomsko delo obsega teoretični in raziskovalni del. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge smo predstavili mladinski trg delovne sile, opredelili vrste brezposelnosti, opisali psihološke posledice brezposelnosti ter prednosti in slabosti mladih iskalcev zaposlitve, opisali metode iskanja zaposlitve, analizirali aktivno politiko zaposlovanja ter podali ukrepe za boljši nastop na trgu dela. V raziskovalnem delu smo s pomočjo statističnih podatkov ugotovili stanje prvih iskalcev zaposlitve na trgu dela v občini Kranj med leti 2009, 2010 in 2011. Zanimalo nas je tudi, ali je bilo na Zavodu za zaposlovanje Območne službe Kranj več prijavljenih prvih iskalcev zaposlitve s V. ali s VII. stopnjo izobrazbe ter ali se čakalna doba prvih iskalcev zaposlitve v teh letih podaljšuje. Na podlagi podanih hipotez smo ugotovili, da število prvih iskalcev zaposlitve med leti 2009, 2010 in 2011 narašča, poleg tega je bilo na Zavodu Republike Slovenije za zaposlovanje v teh letih prijavljenih več prvih iskalcev zaposlitve s V. stopnjo izobrazbe kot s VII. stopnjo izobrazbe, čakalna doba prvih iskalcev zaposlitve pa se podaljšuje. Povečuje se tudi delež dolgotrajno brezposelnih prvih iskalcev zaposlitve.

ZADOVOLJSTVO ZAPOSLENIH V OSNOVNI ŠOLI X KRANJ

Opis: V diplomskem delu smo ugotavljali, kakšno je zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v osnovni šoli x Kranj. Zaposleni večino svojega časa preživimo na delovnem mestu, kjer je vedno prisotna komunikacija, ki je sestavni del našega življenja. Uspešna in učinkovita komunikacija med zaposlenimi, je le eden od dejavnikov zadovoljstva zaposlenih, na katerega smo se osredotočili tudi v našem diplomskem delu. Ne smemo pa pozabiti tudi na druge dejavnike, ki vplivajo na zadovoljstvo: odnos pri delu, vsebina dela, samostojnost pri delu, delovne razmere, vodenje, organizacija in plača. Diplomsko delo smo razdelili na teoretični ter empirični del. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili osnovne pojme: zadovoljstvo zaposlenih, dejavnike, ki vplivajo na zadovoljstvo, delovno uspešnost, komuniciranje in konflikte. Empirični del diplomskega dela zajema kratko predstavitev osnovne šole x Kranj in raziskavo, katere cilj je ugotoviti, kakšno je zadovoljstvo pedagoškega kadra pri opravljanju svojega dela. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da so zaposleni zadovoljni s svojim delom ter delovnim mestom. Delno zadovoljstvo opazimo pri delovnih razmerah, delovnih sredstvih, pri predvidenem učnem načrtu ter pri možnosti izobraževanja in strokovnega usposabljanja. Na podlagi analize raziskave smo v nadaljevanju podali predloge in priporočila za izboljšanje slabše ocenjenih dejavnikov.

Human resources annual interview as a part of authentic leadership

Opis: In the paper one of the techniques used in human resource management annual interview as an important part of authentic leadership is discussed. Authentic leadership is the most important matter at the present moment in leadership development and emphasizes the leader’s authenticity. For a leader to be authentic we believe he should have an in depth knowledge of people he is working with and that can be achieved through communication. One of the standardized forms of communication between a leader and his coworkers are annual interviews. In the research where 565 people participated we found out that annual interview is an important part of human resource management and is closely related to authentic leadership. The relation is especially relevant in the part of managing and collaborating with colleagues and subordinates.

Country's development as a determinant of early-stage entrepreneurial activity

Opis: Our study is built on the dependence of early-stage entrepreneurial activity on GDP per capita, GDP real growth rate, unemployment rate, inflation rate, investments and public debt of different countries. We divide the early-stage entrepreneurial activity into necessity-driven and improvement-driven opportunistic entrepreneurial activity. To establish the dependencies we have conducted the regression analyses. Our three main findings are: (a) early-stage entrepreneurial activity does depend on our predictors; (b) necessity-driven entrepreneurial activity is negatively correlated to country’s development; and (c) improvement-driven opportunistic entrepreneurial activity is positively correlated to country’s development.

Solving complex problems with help of experiential learning

Opis: This paper presents the impact of experiential learning on solving complex problems. Analyzed are methods and techniques of experiential learning as an active form of learning. Presented are the results of research in which we examine whether the systematic approach of problem solving differs between the genders, if the perception of experience as a source of knowledge depends on the level of education, and examine a correlation between searching of all possible ways for successful problems solving and perception of experience as a source of knowledge.

Innovations and lifelong learning in sustainable organization

Opis: Innovation and knowledge are two of key factors for sustainable development of company or organization. Particularly in the current period of economic crisis it is crucial to promote lifelong learning and creativity to contribute innovative solutions to various problems. Lifelong learning makes a significant contribution to awareness of the importance of innovation and creativity for sustainable development of organization. In this paper we explore if respondents from Slovenian companies think that innovation and lifelong learning is important for sustainable development of company. Presented are the results of a survey conducted in 67 large and medium-sized enterprises in Slovenia where we upon respondents' judgment examine the correlation between the innovativeness level and lifelong learning, investing in innovativeness and competitive advantage and the promotion of lifelong learning and competitive advantage of the organization. Also the answers to the questions if lifelong learning contributes to the sustainable development of organization and if more the organization takes care of sustainable development the bigger is its competitive advantage before equal bidders are given.

Educational institution's image

Opis: This article presents our findings about the factors influencing educational institution's image. Based on the literature review we composed a web questionnaire which was send to all current students at University of Maribor's Faculty of Organizational Studies. Based on our research results we found out that eight factors influence educational institution's image which have various amounts of influence on the educational institutions image. The factor with the most influence is the quality of professors and of their lectures and the second most important factor is the learning content. These two factors come before all of the others in the matter of influencing the educational institutions image. Our basic recommendation is to build on these factors starting with the most important ones first.

Entrepreneurship as a solution to the unemployment problem

Opis: The relation between entrepreneurship and unemployment has been an interesting topic for researchers for quite some time. In the time of global recession and mass layoffs different countries try to stimulate their residents to work on their ideas and to test themselves on the open market using various forms of subsidizing. It is important to point out that entrepreneurship does not constitute such a social security as employment in large companies. Entrepreneurship is not just a mixture of ideas, desires for success and a trend away from employment, integration with the right business partners and the issues of obtaining the initial capital, but largely also depends on the laws in each country and the infrastructure which this country offers. Countries with better entrepreneurial infrastructure (technology parks, university incubators, etc.) are definitely more open to competition and entrepreneurial activities than others. Globally interesting and internationally comparable study made each year by GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) (2008) notes that more and more people around the world are dealing with entrepreneurship. Schools for entrepreneurship are an important link between theoretical knowledge and practical involvement in the market. The international economic crisis has further accelerated the flow of restructuring, while unemployment continues to rise. It is therefore necessary to adopt measures that will help people with self-employment and, ultimately, in achieving a dignified life. Our contribution will be built on the hypothesis that where there is a higher rate of unemployment, more people will transit into entrepreneurship and where there is a higher rate of entrepreneurship there will be a lower level of unemployment. To test our hypothesis we will use available data from different countries and measure the correlations between the rate of entrepreneurship and the rate of unemployment and make a regression analysis of both values.

Unemployment and government's subsidizing

Opis: Unemployment has become more and more pressing matter nowadays. Governments all across the world are implementing policies to increase the employment rates back to the levels before the economic downturn. One of the most important policies implemented by countries governments were employment subsidies, which means that companies got government funding when employing and also that private citizens had the possibility for entrepreneurship stimulus packages. The scope of our study was to determine how the gross domestic product and the government's subsidizing on a country's level affect the number of unemployed on a country level. We have conducted the empirical part of our study on the case of Slovenia and found out that gross domestic product has a bigger effect on the number of unemployed than government's subsidies.
