Technology and corporate social responsibility
Vojko Potočan, 2021, original scientific article

Abstract: This study examined the importance of technologies in advancing modern organizations’ corporate social responsibility (CSR). Drawing upon environmentalist and technological theories, we analyzed the shift from the traditional development of technology to the development of sustainable technologies for the further sustainable advancement of organizations. Technology has decisively influenced the development of humankind, but its research has traditionally excluded sustainable development issues. Newer technological visions have addressed the incorporation of technologies in all industries more comprehensively to solve social issues related to environmental protection and sustainable economic development. Such an orientation is followed by several conceptual solutions, such as the sustainable use of traditional technologies, development of sustainable technologies, and interdisciplinary treatment of sustainable technology to extend the CSR model. The results of our study have theoretical implications, highlighting the effects of technological development and new technologies on the course of further societal sustainable development. Practical implications include extending CSR’s Triple Bottom model with a technological dimension to improve organizations’ further sustainable operating and behavior.

Rural olympiads as promoters of old folk sports and games
Nevena Ćurčić, Željko Bjeljac, Jovana Brankov, 2022, independent scientific component part or a chapter in a monograph

Abstract: Traditional sports and games represent the folk tradition and culture of certain regions, part of the people’s intangible cultural heritage. Numerous traditional sports and games have been preserved in ex-Yugoslav republics, which are most often affirmed through village Olympiads and competitions in order to keep them from being forgotten. The aim of the study is to determine the content and program of rural Olympiads in ex-Yugoslav republics, the extent to which traditional sports and games are present, and the extent to which some modern sports are included. Also, the study focused on the impact of rural Olympiads on local communities and on the interaction between hosts and guests. The methodology used in the paper refers to field research (interview, observation), and document analysis, as well as the use of different data sources to validate and crosscheck findings. The results of the research indicate the presence of a large number of games of different character in the countries formed in Yugoslavia, as well as a large number of the same or similar games that arose more as a result of certain geographical and social conditions, and less as a feature of individual peoples.

The wine village Šipčanik, tourist complex in Podgorica
Nina Ćulafić, 2018, master's thesis

Abstract: This master thesis proposes a design project of the second phase of the wine tourism initiative, that consists of designing the wine village between the vineyards and the vine cellar Šipčanik. The introduction of the theses is based on researching the characteristics of vernacular architecture in Montenegro which will serve as an inspiration for creating a contemporary architecture influenced by tradition. The complex consists of two elements: a hotel with spa and luxury villas. The main challenges of this project were to create a harmony between traditional architectural elements and contemporary trends in architecture, while creating a respecting architecture which complements the unique natural conditions found on the site without degrading it.
